Hello Bridget! I’m the same as you. I never bothered with contour before. It never appealed to me, drawing some crazy line on my face and blending it away. This newer, more subtle method is much more like a bronzing companion and it just seems so much more friendly and doable. 💕
This was a GREAT review--very thorough--not only in terms of providing an overview of the product (which looks fantastic on you!), but also in terms of how you spoke to the functions of contour, bronzing & blush. Also really appreciate your presentation of the concept of having different bronzers for different looks, just as we have different blushes! Before your video I was thinking, Hm, I already have She's So LA (which I enjoy), perhaps I could just use the powder more often for bronzing purposes...? But now I'm thinking, it might have a rosier look than I prefer in a bronzer. Anyway! Thanks for all the food for thought, really appreciate it!

@@NotFitforPrintBeauty i will start with Patrick ta (right now😂) its look better to me from camera at least 🤷♀️ and i really love his line and attitude, i would like to recommend a beautiful product for the contour category and that’s will be the dior backstage contour palette , not a new one but for me its really unique product, i am working with this palette so much, for the eyes like you was mentioned, and all over the face , I adore the light powder that you can add above and underneath the conture and it makes the cheack bone stand out so amazing but in seamless and natural way , this light powder is so important in the process of contouring and the ather shades are brilliant for shade colors , thats its not easy to find, beautiful palette that’s doing beautiful jub ( just wnated to give something back from me just for case you didnt try it ) and now less talking and more buying before i will stay without my new bronzer🤣🤣)

Hello there! Think of this less as a bronzer and more as a contour with complementary warmer bronzer. Different technique, etc. And if you love his blushes (what is not to love, right?) then you'll love this too. Good stuff! 🥰

Your definitely right that contour is alot more light now and i like that, i was scared to contour because it was just to dark now that more products like PT and WG have come to the market its made me want to get back in contour, i did buy the Wayne Goss 1 but like you said there is nothing wrong with having more than 1 so I'll probably buy the Patrick Ta aswell 😆

Hello Renee! I like THIS cream contour better than others because it's subtle. The cream contours I've had before are SO dark and require SUCH blending. This is like a little kiss. Same with Wayne's, though his is a powder, of course. I agree, though. How much can one contour? But....maybe....looks like the new trend that will stick around! ❤️

I struggle using CT contour wand and no matter how little product I use, I can’t seem to blend it out properly. How do you feel about the brush? Hey Julie! The Rephr 4 would DEFINITELY work as it's nice and thick. As for all my fan brushes, they do not, not dense enough. I am usually a brush snob and would be prone not to purchase a synthetic brush that is released with a collection, including the ones from Pat McGrath. But this one caught my eye and it is a good buy just for contour. I didn't use it for the bronzer portion, though. The CT Contour Wand is that old style of contour, in my opinion. VERY VERY VERY dark. VERY VERY VERY in need of blending. I don't think that ritual appeals to people. ❤️

I like the contour color from Patrick Ta best since it’s a cream (wich I love) but the bronzer color from Wayne Goss better since it seem to have a golden sheen to it wich I can’t see in the more matte from Patrick Ta. Tricky to choose one of them😅🤎!

I have never bought any contour because people keep saying I have a naturally sculpted face and it would be too harsh for me to contour. I only use bronzers on my temples and cheeks just to warm up my face.

Hello Marie. Believe it or not, I think it is good for a small face. You’ll use it to carve out just that area on the cheeks, the hollows. And it’ll fit all face sizes, within reason, of course. 😊
Darn it Rebecca just about every product you do a review on I was viewing and thinking of buying at Sephora.lol I actually REALLY like this better than the Danessa Myrick creame contour. I Really like the concept of the cream /powder duo. I was not intrigued and tempted to get the Wayne Goss contour duo. For one the swatches doesn't impress me and the darkest shade isn't dark enough for some deep/dark skin tones....I mean Wayne Goss does represent more subtle looks so maybe that is why 🤔...netherless when I see the Patrick TA duo I see it being more buildable I'm exchanging the Danessa Myrick for she's Chiseled from this line
Hello Andrea! This Patrick Ta product is wonderful. This man just knows how to do a cream/powder duo well. Same with his duo blushes. They are just exceptional. And She's Chiseled would be so good on you. It's still very subtle but builds quicker than Wayne's product. This product is subtle. Wayne's product is VERY subtle. Haha. You will be pleased with the Wayne duo. For certain. ❤️

It really is. Wayne’s might be more buildable. But Patrick’s works on the cream trend. It’s a tough choice. Wayne’s is also mostly sold out so that might might the decision easier. ♥️
I bought his blush brush and was very disappointed. The handle was very large and cylindrical and it was difficult to use. I am not a bronzer person so I won’t be picking it up.

But this one caught my eye and it is a good buy just for contour. I didn't use it for the bronzer portion, though. The CT Contour Wand is that old style of contour, in my opinion. VERY VERY VERY dark. VERY VERY VERY in need of blending. I don't think that ritual appeals to people. ❤️

I like the contour color from Patrick Ta best since it’s a cream (wich I love) but the bronzer color from Wayne Goss better since it seem to have a golden sheen to it wich I can’t see in the more matte from Patrick Ta. Tricky to choose one of them😅🤎!
I know, Linda!!! It's a dilemma for sure and I can't even ADVISE which one to get. They are very different but I totally understand that people will say they simply don't contour enough to have both. That being said, I think we MIGHT start contouring enough. This new breed of contour is very easy to use and fun. Your explanation is perfect in illustrating why it's so hard to decide!!! ❤️

I have never bought any contour because people keep saying I have a naturally sculpted face and it would be too harsh for me to contour. I only use bronzers on my temples and cheeks just to warm up my face.

I have gotten a few requests for that comparison. I think I'm going to need to do a larger video on it. BUT I will definitely also swatch on insta for sure. I hesitate to include the CT, but I will, only because that would be "brontouring" which is different. Great video again!!! I love the sculpted side!! I am VERY glad contour and brows are becoming softer. I like EVERYTHING soft. One exception would be a striking red lipstick for a holiday party. Darn it Rebecca just about every product you do a review on I was viewing and thinking of buying at Sephora.lol I actually REALLY like this better than the Danessa Myrick creame contour. I Really like the concept of the cream /powder duo. I was not intrigued and tempted to get the Wayne Goss contour duo. For one the swatches doesn't impress me and the darkest shade isn't dark enough for some deep/dark skin tones....I mean Wayne Goss does represent more subtle looks so maybe that is why 🤔...netherless when I see the Patrick TA duo I see it being more buildable

Hello Andrea! This Patrick Ta product is wonderful. This man just knows how to do a cream/powder duo well. Same with his duo blushes. They are just exceptional. And She's Chiseled would be so good on you. It's still very subtle but builds quicker than Wayne's product. This product is subtle. Wayne's product is VERY subtle. Haha. You will be pleased with the Wayne duo. For certain. ❤️

It really is. Wayne’s might be more buildable. But Patrick’s works on the cream trend. It’s a tough choice. Wayne’s is also mostly sold out so that might might the decision easier. ♥️
I bought his blush brush and was very disappointed. The handle was very large and cylindrical and it was difficult to use. I am not a bronzer person so I won’t be picking it up.
