On Screen Prompt 1: Drama, Medium Shot, Eye-Level. The scene unfolds in a dimly lit, rainy street at night. A woman stands inside an old-fashioned telephone booth. The rain softly hits the glass, creating ripples and streaks that blur the outside world. The setting is intimate, with the telephone booth illuminated by a single streetlight. The cold, wet environment contrasts with the warmth inside the booth, where the woman is emotionally vulnerable. The woman, in a long, slightly wet coat, has her hair loosely falling over her shoulders, damp from the rain. The glow from the streetlight casts soft highlights on her features, emphasizing her fragile state. She holds the phone tightly against her ear, pausing mid-conversation. Her lips tremble slightly, as if holding back emotions, while the other hand rests against the glass of the booth, catching the rain's condensation. Her gaze alternates between the ground and the rain-streaked window, barely noticing the raindrops rolling down. The camera starts with a medium static shot, focused on the woman through the rain-covered glass. As the tension builds, the camera slowly pushes in for a closer shot of her face, capturing her inner turmoil. The raindrops outside distort the background, blurring everything but her emotions. The lighting is soft, diffused, and natural, with a cool palette of muted desaturated blues and greys from the rain-soaked city. The warm muted yellow hue from the streetlamp casts a gentle glow on her face, providing a soft contrast against the cold tones of the scene. The telephone booth, slick with rain, acts as a shelter from the storm but also symbolizes her isolation. The rain streaks on the glass distort her view of the outside world, reflecting her emotional confusion and distance. Medium close-up, slow push-in, eye-level, ARRI Alexa Mini LF, Panavision Primo 70, Kodak Vision 500T, natural soft lighting, muted blue tones, cold rain, subtle emotion, rainy nighttime scene, cinematic atmosphere, rain distortion
On Screen Prompt 2: Historical Drama, Medium Close-Up, Eye-Level. The scene takes place on a sun-drenched battlefield, surrounded by soldiers in period attire. The open field is dotted with tall grass and stretches toward the horizon, where smoke from distant fires rises. The day is clear, with the sun casting a bright, almost golden light across the landscape. The atmosphere is thick with tension and anticipation, as the moment of decision looms. Captain Alden, a war-weary leader in his 40s, stands tall in a weathered military uniform from the 19th century. His face is grim, with deep lines etched by years of combat. Captain Alden stands frozen, his gaze fixed on the distant enemy lines. He breathes deeply, his jaw clenched in grim determination as he prepares for what's to come. The dolly zoom effect kicks in immediately. The camera, positioned at eye level in a medium close-up. starts to dolly backward while simultaneously zooming in on Captain Alden's face. As the camera pulls back, the battlefield behind him-stretches, distorts, and elongates-emphasizing the growing sense of overwhelming pressure and looming disaster. Alden's face remains sharp, his expression a mix of horror and resolve, while the expanding background creates a sense of disorienting space. This dynamic movement visually conveys the emotional weight of the moment, mirroring the captain's inner turmoil as he prepares to lead his men into an uncertain future. The bright daylight casts sharp shadows, illuminating Captain Alden's face while the battlefield behind him takes on a muted, smoky tone. The colors are warm and earthy-golden sunlight, brown and green fields. Dolly zoom, medium close-up, eye-level, daylight, Spielberg-style, war-torn battlefield, emotional weight, ARRI Alexa Mini LF, 50mm lens, epic scope, historical drama, tension, powerful visual contrast
Great to hear and thanx for your kind words! This AI video generator truly has a lot of potential but we just can't wait for what the others will present soon. The race is far from being over :)
I make AI short films and have been using MiniMax to create b-roll my next film. It’s the most impressive generator for sure. I just hope the image-to-video will work as good as the text-to-video. I think the pictures need to be very realistic so that MiniMax will see them as such and generate video accordingly. Thank you for the great video and example shots with complex, detailed prompts!
Thanks a million and welcome! We are waiting for the image-to-video, too, as MiniMax really impressed us. You're 100% right on the money with the image-to-video mode - the first or last or even middle frame (depending on the generator) are crucial. Check our video on Flux vs Midjourney vs Mystic where we cover these aspects: th-cam.com/video/QO6tQ5rHYeg/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for your kind opinion! Two prompts are shown in the video - just pause and do the print screen. We're working on making all the prompts from our videos available in a pdf format so stick around :)
Welcome to the channel! No, there's no English version yet - the easiest option is to enable translation of the page to English (e.g. Chrome plugin). It handles prompts written in English, though. You can also write the prompt in English, translate the text in Google Translate to "Simplified" Chinese, and paste the entire Chinese text into the prompt frame. We hope this helps :)
Great, but until they add an image to video option this seems useless, I mean these clips are great as fillers or just stock footage but not for telling a consistent story. But love Minimax's quality for sure.
Thanx for the comment and welcome to the channel! Sure, image-to-video will be a great test for MiniMax's ability to deliver consistency. But even using text-to-video, when you use a precise description of the hero or a subject or - in the case of a person - request in the prompt a resemblance to an actual public person, you can achieve some interesting results regarding consistency. Obviously, once MiniMax release image-to-video, we'll dive right into it :)
Welcome to the channel! Two prompts are clearly shown in the video - just hit pause and you can study their structures and the level of detail included.
@@AIFilmmakingAcademy thank you so much, I just got and test, and amazing, I build custom GPT that provide all the story with all settinngs, transitions, ect , will upload some set of short clips that I will generated by help of your videos, thank you
Hi and welcome! Two prompts are clearly visible in the video - just hit the pause button, and you can copy them easily. We're working on making all the prompts from our videos available, so please be patient :)
can you plz explain how to continue to further shots with same scene, consistent character, and camera moves when we are creating a movie? because all the view gets changed for next shot, and sometimes character as well. Every expert on youtube is showing just 1 shot. Please let us learn to shoot a scene of 6 shots, 3 minutes long, showing 7 friends. Refer to any sample scene from series FRIENDS. Many thanks
Hi! Thanks for your comment. Consistency is the main issue we're all facing. We can share two tips: 1) use the image-to-video function (and create consistent images in your preferred text-to-image generator). 2) Be precise in your prompts and describe not only the action but also the set design elements to maintain consistency. We plan to do a separate video on consistency so stay tuned!
@@AIFilmmakingAcademy thanks. Please pick a story of of at least 6 scenes, having different and multiple characters in scene also the place or house or cafe with shots of different camera angles. I’m doin so using last frame or mid frame to next scene for consistency.
@@AIFilmmakingAcademy also please if you can upload a video combining shots of different camera angles along with the prompts as you showed a couple prompts and shots in this video which were completely new for me and improved my videos generated using hailuoai, will be really very helpful for us to learn. Many thanks,
@ai_filmmaking Welcome! To achieve a rack focus effect do this: in the place in your prompt where you describe the camera operation, explain how the rack focus should work. For example, for the scene of the child swinging on the swing, which we show in the Minimax video, the part of our prompt responsible for describing the camera operation looked like this: Camera Movement and Positioning: The shot begins with a close-up of the child on the swing, in the center of the frame. The camera remains still as the child swings, their legs and smile in sharp focus. After 2 seconds, the rack focus begins, smoothly shifting from the child to the parent sitting on the bench. As the child blurs, the parent’s loving gaze comes into focus, their smile full of warmth and pride. We hope this helps :)
Welcome to the channel, and thank you for your kind opinion! We'll definitely drop by and check out your teaser. Meanwhile, keep us in the loop as tomorrow we'll publish a new video :)
