This entire set was incredible! It was up for a couple of days before they took it down & only made “Disciple” available. It’s a free festival that draws 300K+ a day. Their set was a prime time slot, midnight, 2nd to last act of the night. If you really want to see how incredible this song is, check oUt the version from their Pepsi Center concert. You can’t recreate the energy they have with the crowd in Mexico! It’s the first song of the concert, so you might as well watch the whole thing! 🤓⚡️🤘
At this performance, Pau directs the crowd to "open the pit" before they start their song Sharks. She did that a few times during the European tour leg.
They do it different in EU!!! I miss those days! Went to a Limp Bizcuit concert & those were mosh pit nightmares!!!! I can’t believe I’m admitting that but I was a fan of theirs.
I recently found this gem of Ale singing lead vocals on Red Hands - clearest version I’ve seen so far! She has a perfect blend of Dany & Pau’s vocals. Here is the link ❤ th-cam.com/video/JYMgaYqF4s4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I0ibEEzi7vFafbhf
Thanks for the reaction. You make an interesting point about Ale's role on stage. I think she performs exactly the way she needs to. In the 1980s, I followed a few US heavy rock bands whose stage performances were not cohesive because every member thought they had to strut and posture and show-off on stage. It was too much. And I remember that when Cliff Williams joined AC/DC, Malcom Young told him, "You and I stand at the back, and we don't move. When we have to sing a chorus, we step forward to the mike and sing. Then we walk backwards to our spot, and we stay there." It gave the audience a focal point (Angus and Bon Scott/Brian Johnson) and, I think, made for a better show. Malcom understood how to achieve a good "balance".
Excellent reaction man. Like previously mentioned, this entire set in Poland was such a performance. Almost the entirety of the those attending didn't know The Warnings, but the ladies put on a heck of performance, and the polish folks know how to rock and took advantage of it. I have this and Wacken 2024 entire downloaded. Keep Rockin' my TWA brother 🤘⚡🤘.
The entire Pepsi Center concert is awesome. Pau sang on several songs in that performance. "Dust To Dust / Dull Knives (Cut Better)" is a great video, and Pau sang "Dust To Dust."
“Disciple” is all about social media and how people get manipulated by disinformation without even realizing it. [Dany, the guitarist, sings from the perspective of those spreading hate and ignorance for power and money.] She talks about how people avoid facing their own flaws and welcome the chaos that’s created. Then [Pau, the drummer, plays the “disciple”], representing those falling for it, blindly following what they’re told. The chorus is cool because Dany sings about fighting the system, trying to wake people up, but Pau’s part reinforces staying trapped in ignorance-like a tug-of-war between rebellion and control. By the end, the “disciple” is totally brainwashed, swimming in hate, and still following the system. It’s a warning that if people don’t wake up, they’ll stay stuck in this loop of ignorance.
Ale makes the desicions when Pau and Dany have a disagreement when they are writing . . She also has perfect timing so keeps P and D on time when there is no click track . 👍👋🇳🇿🍻
I like that!!! Power is in the tie breaker!! The Silent Seniority!! I really like that after repeating it back to myself. They are Such close & caring sisters. Reminds me of me and my sister & brother and how much we depended on each other especially early in our childhood. Heart warming for sure ❤️👍💎
Thanks BigMike.....fortunately I had downloaded this concert before they put blocks to it. Tucked away safely now. Amazing concert, amazing stage and the Ladies are freaking rocking the crap out of this place. Pretty sure the camera man has an obsession for Ale though with the close-ups....really can't blame him. Cheers. BTW, when the Ladies performed "Sharks" at this concert Pau screamed "open the Pit" many times and of course when Pau commands something, it will be done...they opened the pit. 😂😂
Don’t be surprised if this gets blocked too. The company that does the videos for this festival has been pretty ruthless in blocking reactions to videos from this concert.
I got it through!!!!! Have to revenue share it with them and more than happy to. It’s a start but a good sign for being a start up channel… I did put their TH-cam site all over the description so I think that helped too. Funny how some can react but newer creators have a real tough time but it’s worth it and hope it gets easier over time 🙏🤞Thanks for the comment
This is kind of an insane festival - I suppose it's supported by sponsorships, but it's an annual event that is _free to attend_ to anyone who lives in the country. So, of course the crowds are massive and many bands are delighted to play there. I am hoping eventually their entire set is released; I'm not sure how they decide what videos to permit to be seen. Obviously everything is professionally recorded and a lot of money goes into the entire event, and I'm unclear on how this thing makes money. Yes; this song demonstrates their "sibling magic" in full. It remains amazing to me how they are not world-wide headliners, and how many people I introduce them to have never heard of them.
Pretty comfy for standing in front of a minimum of 100,000 people...:) Just a shame Dany's was dealing with back problems or she would have been running all over the stage. Nice find bud. The entire show is still available for download on reddit if you dig around. Edit: Ale singing Red Hands Never Fade - 15 years old th-cam.com/video/JcMM9KDWW44/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0lGU8dAc1m3jFL3P&t=1402
Dany's back went out on her a few shows (I think) prior, hence her "comfy" clothes which I think hid a brace- plus she was probably in some pain I'm sure.
Make no mistake, Ale is the boss. The decider. Like Paul Cicero in Goodfellas, when you’re the boss you move for no one😊. Pol’and’Rock is (aside from their own full production shows where they have control over the camera shots in post-production) THE finest live festival concert video I’ve ever seen. That is LIVE video, streamed as it happened. They either had someone from TW in the broadcast truck telling them which camera or they had the setlist ahead & mapped everything out (which they couldn’t possibly do with that many bands performing)

Ale is still a teenager; just getting ready to turn 20.
She’s gonna have a huge career too. I bet she can sing just as good and is the youngest + she has Father Time in her side for sure

Pau does those drum fills singing and voice stays the same unreal.❤️

Great reaction. Thank you BigMike.
Thank you!!! Such a fun song. Hope to see more from that festival
This is a polish music festival.

Holy deep AF!!! Thank you so much 🙏. I love finding out little nuggets like this! Makes the song so much better
This concert is GOLD. But I bet it’ll be taken down. People have been having trouble with it. I’m surprised you found it.
This guy has a disclaimer at the begining so could be interesting . . . .

Hey they want to share!!!! I’ll take it!!
I hadn't noticed how much of a struggle the director had trying to catch who was singing! They got completely lost!

Excellent my friend... excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good luck . Hope it stays up for you . . . This whole show was awesome . .
Bye from NZ. 👍👋🇳🇿🍻
I hope so too! Revenue sharing with them so a good sign…. So far
Love the band and this performance.... just can't handle the reactor.

Kręcioła pronounced as Cranchowa mean spin in Polish
Was way off!!! Appreciate that & the comment!

Great performance , sound , lighting , but the camera work and editing is of a poor standard in comparison .
Agreed but still great AF!!
