@inziify , That was a Great comparison of various entry level Pierre Cardin pens, couple of points on why most of the entry level indian fountain pens write dry are because the size of paper is not regulated or does not have uniformity because india has diverse economic classes and manufacturers have to cater to all of them (you can see the vast price points of notebooks/paper in stationary shops). wetter pens would usually bleed through the cheaper paper hence they are drier.
my request is, i really liked the Pierre Cardin Veer, did you try soaking the pen in water or aligning the tines made a difference in writing quality. the Nib on veer reminded me of Fabercastell Nib and looks beautiful.
I know the pen has to write out of the box but im ok with little bit of tinkering.

I found Pierre Cardin napoli to be too wet, like there's even ink in the cap that got stuck while closing the cap. So great if you have great quality paper but you cannot write with it on any paper below 90gsm
Bro you can see the pen is manufactured in 2013 which is 10 years old. It might effect the nib in some way. In 2023 the new Veer gives 6 CARTRIDGES and a converter in just 100 rupees which such a good design. It's a very good pen.

No... I wont recommend it. Use Parker or Pilot ink instead.

Bro I bought a Parker frontier pen and used parker blue ink on it but now i want to switch to black. Will i have to clean the fountain pen before fillin with black ink or should i directly fill with black ink?
General advice would be to clean it because the pen will continue writing with the previoussly filled ink for some pages. But you may do it without cleaning too as it wont harm the pen.

@inziify, i have a problem with my platinum preppy that it was leaking when I put ink the barrel as an eyedropper and after few hours it's start leaking. could you please tell me how to deal with it?
It can sometimes leak but you can apply some silicon grease on the thread where you tighten the pen. Silicon grease is absolutely going to prevent any leaks after the barrel if tightened.
Instead of silicon grease,can't we use Vaseline
@@sohankumardas1828 Yes you can, but I won't recommend it. Vaseline is a petroleum jelly and is known to damage plastic. Use it only if you cant get silicon grease.

I am a fountain pen enthusiast and collector. Pierre Cardin pens are some of the worst fountain pens in the market. Sometimes they come in cheap and flashy packing, which some people like. The pens are horrible and do not justify their cost. A simple cello or flair or reynolds fountain pen is way better. Of course, the parkers, Sheaffers, watermans etc. are in a different league altogether

Pierre cardin pens are one of the worst quality fountain pens available in India. If one has to go really to the bottom of the ladder, one can buy flair fountain pens. Even basic parker pens are available at around 100/-. This brand makes nice (read garish) boxes for keeping third class pens
