I usually play the hyper-accelerated Sicilian Dragon and have studied the variants, but at my rating rate (1000 in blitz), most opponents go for castle king's side. I almost never manage to use what I know against Queen's side.
This is so great video for Sicilian Defense player like me. I've been played this all along when i'm taken black pieces, but there is a bunch of theory that has to keep on learning and it is fun for me to learn
0:26 The actual joke is when you've seen his videos explaining how the Bc4 line is good and a weapon against the Sicillian And here, He himself starts thrashing it LOL😂

I was trying this opening, but my opponent played 1.e4 c5 2. nf3 nc6 3. Bc4 g6 then my opponent played 4. c3 then I don't know the line can you give another video of this
You can play it as if you're playing the modern Scandinavian by going E6 to undermine the center and if they take you take back with your bishop.Youre down a pawn but have two pieces out already
Whats the game plan when it goes 1) e4 c5 2)nf3 nc6 3)d4 cxd4 4)Nxd4 b6 5)Nxc6 bxc6 6)Qd4 ?? If i cover with the night they have e5, it typically leads to me losing my castling rights
They might play f4 because they don't see e5 before they play it, be3 is also natural so he probably should've pointed it out but after Nxe3 black has a huge advantage cause white has 2 isolated e pawns and white lost their dark squared Bishop so blacks dsb is very strong
Me, 500: “ok kings Indian and London is getting boring. Let’s learn the bird“ 2 weeks later: “ok this is so much more fun. What is the black version of it? Oh Sicilian. Let’s see how it goes“ Me vs other 500: “2 moves in and he’s out of line… what am I supposed to do now?!?“
Actually I feel like I'm still a beginner although I been playing chess for a long time but the accelerated dragon helped me a ton because I feel like if I remember how to play against king pawn opening at least I know how to play against it and I want to learn how to play against all white opening even if it's not book related but then I layer realized it has ton of theory thus I decided to practice accelerated dragon until it becomes muscle memory before I move on to another opening for black
In the position at 5:18 after you play Nf6, white should just play e5, which threatens the Knight and opens the queen's attack on the c6 pawn. You could easily proceed with dxe5, Qxc6+, Bd7, Qf5. White has a more favorable position now. even if black castles kingside, his queenside is wrecked. Therefore, instead of Nf6, shouldn't black simply play e7? Am I missing something obvious? Anyone see a better line?
I can guarantee none of my 900 opponents play any of those moves. But what the hell I'll give it a go, but only because I own a pet Dragon. Not the bearded types, the real game of thrones type. My neighbour hates it but it keeps the cats off my lawn and I can light my BBQ in seconds.
Thank you so much for the Sicilian defence and the video 😂❤🎉😅😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Good day! Coach GM Smirnov, I'd like to ask is this a book or a video lesson?
What if he play alapin?
@@kazuosenpaiph9254then you cant play the accelerated dragon
I can't wait until "This is completely winning" means that I'll actually win the game 😂
I know
u need to improve your ability to turn a +1 or +2 game into a win then

From white I play Italian game ❤❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
But after 1900 attack is insane against black in king side those pawn are just monsters.💀💀
Another sicilian defence guide! Keep it coming Igor 🎉❤❤
❤
I love how you also see the low levels, my elo is 1000 and my opponents still blunder ❤️
This opening and the hyper accelerated dragon are my favourites, I have played them for many years. Thanks for the great video. All the best Joseph

Play dragon much more solid and better
Thank you. Out of all the lines, this is the most beginner friendly.
first game after watching this 92.1 acurracy lolllllll , it gave me rating of 2100. ty for the video :D

Bc4 only good in open sicilian, not the italian thematic d3 stuff
“You win a minor piece and you win the game”. Ha Ha Ha Ha. You obviously haven’t seen me play!
Ty for this nice course and the detailed explanation ❤
You made this look so easy. Now I'm gonna add Sicilian to my toolbox as well. Thanks ❤
❤
This is an excellent video. So well explained and all the best ideas!
6:42 what if after Nf6, nxc6 bxc6, E5?
Ng8 followed by f6 i found in chessbase
I ❤ chess. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos
Glad you enjoy it!
Great video! Thank you
The fact that I played against a 1976 elo player who played this exact move 1:27
It was a 3 minutes blitz though, so I get it
NO I DON'T 😂
All The Best IGOR!!!!!🥰
Thanks! Learning from you everyday
Not only the bishop attacks the Queen, but also the Queen attacks the Bishop! So funny!
At or around the 10:56 mark or so when you push the pawn you didn’t cover the trap for white there ?

Broken down very well🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Will you also cover the Sicilian Najdorf at some point? As it is the most popular and theoretically best variation of the Sicilian defense.
I just played my 5th sicilian. He fell for both traps- tried to fry my liver i took his knight the he resigned before i took the bishop. Thanks!!
It allows the Maroczy bind for white, which means long time advantage. I am always happy to see black playing this.
Thanks IGOR!!!😘🥰
I loved your that ruy lopez trap that also traps 2800 can you make more like this
Please do tutorial on the Timanov variation 🙏
6:58 what if white plays f3 instead of castles?
I was trying this opening, but my opponent played 1.e4 c5 2. nf3 nc6 3. Bc4 g6 then my opponent played 4. c3 then I don't know the line can you give another video of this
6:38 Nf6
what if now Nxc6 Bxc6 and pawn push to e5
18:41 what if they defend the central pawn with c5?
You can play it as if you're playing the modern Scandinavian by going E6 to undermine the center and if they take you take back with your bishop.Youre down a pawn but have two pieces out already
Whats the game plan when it goes 1) e4 c5
2)nf3 nc6
3)d4 cxd4
4)Nxd4 b6
5)Nxc6 bxc6
6)Qd4 ??
If i cover with the night they have e5, it typically leads to me losing my castling rights
At 9:00 you just play Be3 to defend, I'm not sure why anyone would play f4.
They might play f4 because they don't see e5 before they play it, be3 is also natural so he probably should've pointed it out but after Nxe3 black has a huge advantage cause white has 2 isolated e pawns and white lost their dark squared Bishop so blacks dsb is very strong
one question what if the opponent plays the closed sicilian?
Hello, are these the same or different?
-Hyper Accelerated Dragon
-Sicilian Defense Accelerated Dragon
-Sicilian Dragon
Different
I’m a Sicilian fans. Nice accelerated version.
Спасибо, Игорь, а на русском языке есть подобный разбор ускоренного дракона? 🎉 И как бороться против варианта Мароци - пешка на с4?
1:54 I'm seeing myself in the future blundering my queen at least once at this position for sure in a blitz match.
make a video about sicilian kan variation please please please
Me, 500: “ok kings Indian and London is getting boring. Let’s learn the bird“
2 weeks later: “ok this is so much more fun. What is the black version of it? Oh Sicilian. Let’s see how it goes“
Me vs other 500: “2 moves in and he’s out of line… what am I supposed to do now?!?“
The white version of the Sicilian is the English opening with c4, not Bird's opening with f4.
great video but the maroczy bind was skipped
Smooth avoiding the marocsy bind 😅
I can’t play as this but I believe you!
I'm a 2000 to 2080 player with not good opening knowledge. I just play Caro Kann against and have no idea what to do against d4. Any recommendations?
Slav
Watch Igor's video on how to counter d4
Actually I feel like I'm still a beginner although I been playing chess for a long time but the accelerated dragon helped me a ton because I feel like if I remember how to play against king pawn opening at least I know how to play against it and I want to learn how to play against all white opening even if it's not book related but then I layer realized it has ton of theory thus I decided to practice accelerated dragon until it becomes muscle memory before I move on to another opening for black
The only reason why I want to learn this opening is because of how cool the name sounds
How about dealing with Rossolimo attack?
Bro can you make a guide on English opening
Winning For Black
Igor: Can you please do a video on the cow opening.
Can you please explain, after ...Nf6, which variation would be better if white plays c4 (instead of d4 as shown) protecting the pawn on d5?
very nice
I play this opening a lot and I see tons of players forget that their knight is hanging 😅
This looks very strong, but is there a way to use it and not get Grand Prix
Could you offer this course for Indians
In the position at 5:18 after you play Nf6, white should just play e5, which threatens the Knight and opens the queen's attack on the c6 pawn. You could easily proceed with dxe5, Qxc6+, Bd7, Qf5. White has a more favorable position now. even if black castles kingside, his queenside is wrecked. Therefore, instead of Nf6, shouldn't black simply play e7? Am I missing something obvious? Anyone see a better line?
Does it work against the D4 opening?
No lol study the kings Indian or Dutch defense
No d4 is completely different line
This only works against e4
So far 4 out of 5 players blundered the Knight, and I play rapid (1500+) - I wasn't expecting that 😂
This is my secret weapon when i play lower rated players😅
I am an accelerated dragon player. The only thing I don't love is the Maroczy Bind. I find it too hard to play it as Black.
The bind structure is useful if you played d6 and Nf6 at the very beginning. If u didn't, its waste of time for white and you can develop faster
I play 500 elo right now, and after bishop C4.. they bring out the queen almost always lol
Interesting version
Diagonal-[даягонал]
shud 😊lay g6 first then bb7
I never understood how to play the Sicilian. All I know is the bishop can't be seated on c5.
Is it just me or is the accelerated dragon similar to the Kings Indian setup
Best grandmaster
for White!!!
for Black!!!
Well, if you don't cover the maroczy bind, how are we suppose to play the accelerated dragon? it is the most difficult variation to meet! Bye.
lol it’s a crash course dude chill
It's literally in the title! CRASH COURSE
accelerate dragon maybe not a good opening. according to engine best move. it’s even cannot set up dragon style successfully.
I wouldn’t worry so much about engine valuations until you get to play grandmasters etc
I love the video 😂❤🎉😅😅😊😊😮
❤
I can guarantee none of my 900 opponents play any of those moves.
But what the hell I'll give it a go, but only because I own a pet Dragon.

Love this comment! LOL
Niceee
🐉🐉🐉💥❤️🔥
My life is easier by playing the Dragon Counterattack.😎
I can't wait to play it to demolish every player.😏
Hm good ❤❤
❤
I will use the same defence ❤❤🎉🎉😅😊
and he sacs the ruuukckck
Surprised by the video 📷😂❤😮😮😮😮😮
❤❤

isn't that the indian's king setup
Similar position on the kingside but no, the move order is different as is the pawn structure too
Lol no the pawn is not on c7 and neither do we have a e6 pawn
1:52 that is an ass tactic, you can take the pawn with the knight and then trade the queens.
😮
non realistic situation
ruk
Ho ho what a joke 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😅😅🎉🎉🎊🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
