    Why are you assured that partner has 5 spades when he bids 1 spade?

      After a 1 Heart overcall, Partner will make a negative double with exactly four spades. So bidding 1 spade after a 1 Heart overcall promises 5+ spades.

      Or you could just wake up to the 21st century and teach using a physical whiteboard, which would have made your logic a lot easier to see. I can tell you right now that I’ll never be able to see your logic until you start acting like a real teacher and use one.

    Real teachers use physical whiteboards. This is a disaster from start to finish, especially for players still learning.
