I’m also in my 50’s…actually I’ll be 60 next year 😱. Anyway, my wardrobe is very similar to Lydia’s. I think that’s the best part of dressing in classic basics…they are ageless.
I really love that you frequently remind your audience that we don't need to go and buy the clothes you are showing but to use what is in our wardrobe to catch the essence of your style ideas. Almost all the other fashion you tube channels are exhausting and draining to watch because they focus on making their audience buy and buy without end . I am a fan since the early days of your channel.

About difference between audience climates, I lived in Belgium where the climate is similar to England, 7 years ago in Canada when winter is long , at least 6 month, snowy and cold in winter, and hot in summer which is 2-4 month depending on years, now I moved 2 years ago to the sunny south of France, not far from Spain and barcelona I subscribed to your Chanel in the first confinement period and still enjoy your videos I got rid of my heavy, furry coat and replaced them with trench coat as winter is not that long nor cold as in England or Canada, using jumpers to add that bit of warm when needed. I could not have a lot of use of classy outfits as you because the area where I live now is rural and I don’t work so I don’t need that much of outfits You inspire me in the ways of balancing, jazzing, lifting an ordinary subtile outfit I am also a big fan of Polene Paris bags, I got 2 of them and plan to have the belt you showed in your last video for my birthday... I , for many years, was buying in sales and thrifting and from time to time some brands ...now that I settled in France, in a contemporary house, aiming to minimize my belonging and getting back to essentials and to my first love of earthy colors Thanks to you Keep up the work you are doing

I love your videos so much. I would love to see more dress styling but for a warmer winter. I like how the long dresses look with long coats but I would be suffocating in that in California and struggle with trying to find lighter jackets that look good with dresses.

Maybe the colour navy would suit you better? Also, these influencers wear a lot of self tanners and makeup, maybe that’s why they look good in oatmeal colours? ✨

Funnily enough I was really worried about scratches, I unfortunately got one scratch on it the same week I bought it (not really visible), but since then it hasn’t scratched once and that’s about 4 months ago! So in general it’s pretty hard wearing - I think my first scratch was an unfortunate fluke! ❤️

I realise that you are very slim ( lucky you) but occasionally could you touch on ideas for the plus size lady....for example it is hard to tuck tops in if you carry extra weight and belts can be a nightmare...thanks Lydia...you are one classy young lady...Jane North Wales
The only thing I do not enjoy, and this is just a general statement, is this "New York" style of walking around with your jacket wide open. I see many influencers style outerwear this way. If you live in colder climates you need to be able to go from puffer wrapped in Sherpa wrapped in fleece to being presentable indoors with your winter boots on. Nothing against Lydia, I just find the style is specific to UK winters. I think my suggesting would be to do a video that highlights winter wear around the globe. I'd love to see that.
