Josh should definitely do an episode on Brazilian gear like Giannini and CCDB and the Mutantes gear (Sergio's fuzz tone from the golden guitar is still the best fuzz sound ever).
@@duranjerome please tell us more! I'd love to know more about the brand but I cannot track down a single pedal. Any information you can share I'd appreciate. Someone told me it was Italian, apologies for the mistake!
This might be my favorite show you guys do here on the channel. The history with the live examples and back and forth between Daniel and Josh is a great dynamic. My favorite pedal from today's show was actually the systech overdrive. It's such a weird sounding pedal, but it's a fun one. Also the live stingers were on point!
This episode flew totally of the rails and I’m here for it! Absolute chaos! Best Totally Normal Behavior yet! I was laughing the entire time while simultaneously learning information that I will most likely never In my life use! Keep up the Good work! And MORE STINGERS!
The only pedal I ever built was a Gator in the 90s. I only got a lame blue anodized chassis, no logo. I used it as a tremolo, having a drum machine triggering the gate so I could play in sync with the drums. I also built a PAIA Fatman synth. Oh! - and I also got the Craig Anderton's "Electronic Projects for Musicians." including a never used "Free demonstration record" CD
I have a Tone Banker and a Super Gas. The Super Gas is really a crown jewel. SAD1024 flanger, with vibe and envelope flanging. Mind blowing stuff. Love the Tone Banker too. Does great cocked wah tones.
Loving Nik’s improvised jingle vocals on this episode, his falsetto range was spot on, I was wondering was Adison under the table giving Niks knackers a proper squeeze to help him reach the high vocal notes! Great episode again boys! Keep ‘em comin’ and love the new T-shirts, I only wish I could afford to buy some but life’s becoming increasingly harder for me to survive recently, the bailiffs unfortunately turned up at my door last week for a tram ticket I’d forgot to pay!! Demanding £684 that day!! For an original £1.90 tram ticket. Said I’ve not got it and they won’t allow me to set up a payment plan to pay some every month, they eventually gave me 3 days to come up with the money! So I have until Monday which won’t make a difference cos I can pay them a cent!! So I’ve spent today taking a couple of guitars, amp, pedals, Mac and recording gear round to my mates to hide cos on no bday when they return they’re gonna try and take items of value from home! So that’s just another fine to add to the loans and endless bills to keep paying leaving me penniless. Thank god for my guitar to play and watching the JHS show for some pleasure in life to cheer me up and alleviate some stress for a few hours in a week!! Cheers all the best Steve (Manchester, England)
Reventador: reventar is spanish for something popping open, splitting open or exploding from pressure. The suffix -dor means "thing or person that does the verb" so this would be like "The Exploder" but it sounds cooler than "Explotador."
Maybe you are not a fluent Spanish speaker, if so forget about my comment. You are right about the translation, I think "reventar" is like smash. Cheers.
Aw man I was so looking forward or ordering a Crazy Muff T-shirt but the shipping to the UK is just ridiculously prohibitive. $24 shirt and $30 in shipping. I hope JHS can find a more international friendly supplier. I'll stay shirtless for now and carry on watching 'cos I love this content!
At this point JHS should probably make a pedal called "stinger" that just plays all those "sick burn" and "he has the box" things when you tap the engage button
Daniel Danger can hold my attention for about 15 minutes max. He should just wear the damn t-shirt during the show and say "Hey, like my shirt? I made it. You can buy them. Link in the description. Audi 5000."
reventador is spanish for squish or crush. maybe the name is based on how compressed a heavy fuzz or distortion sounds. Gianni is south american. Brazilian I believe. they had a univox superfuzz clone and they made crappy acoustics
A little heavy on the T-Shirt info-mercial with this one. Unique pedal picks, though! The nastiest bass tone I've ever gotten was with a Octave Multiplexer
I had a PAiA kit back in the day! I had forgotten all about it. I don't remember what it was though. Did they make a rackmount vocoder? That is ringing a bell. I don't think it ever worked though...
Curious to know how you 2 both catalogue and store your 1000’s of pedals in a way that you are able to put your hands on them at a moments notice, and then remember all the obscure build details and history?
Josh is the only one with an actual catalog. I had a spreadsheet that's now wildly outdated. As for the memory side of it, it's often a little blurry but the ehx collection is organized well enough I can access the pedals or documents pretty quickly
Was looking up "HS Anderson cat" and found a Telecaster clone they made, the TE-80. Harley Benton have their own version of this available. Yes it's cheap but it looks awesome.
Eastwood makes a reproduction that's actually really nice quality if Harley Benton is too cheap for some folk's tastes. Personally, I'd pick the Harley Benton, and upgrade the pickups
Did you ever tought about, that maybe this advice in the article at around 21:10 min, is the reason why the pedal did not work at that day? Because a lot of people over the years thought it is a good idea to smash it on the table for 227 years........:)
@@DanielDangerTME Hey, Daniel! I see, that explains the difference on video quality. Anyway, great show and thanks for taking time to answer. Greetings from Madrid, Spain.
If I build my own big muff in a custom inclosure, there will only be one. So it will be the rarest big muff. I could then disassemble it and hide the parts like horcruxes. Therefore, making it beyond rare.
Giannini is a brazilian made pedal. They had real good fender amps knockoffs, pedals, guitar and basses since the 60's
Na hora que apareceu e chamaram de italiano já vim prós comentários pra corrigir. xD
I got super frustrated when they called it an Italian brand. They did really solid Brazilian made classical guitars too
Josh should definitely do an episode on Brazilian gear like Giannini and CCDB and the Mutantes gear (Sergio's fuzz tone from the golden guitar is still the best fuzz sound ever).

@@DanielDangerTME I work at a Music Go Round in Greenfield, WI and I see Giannini classical come through often but I've never seen an effects pedal
First, The stingers are necessary. Second, I absolutely love the conversation, and the constant trying to out do each other.

On the fly stinger. That's insane. I really like the stringers. It doesn't bug me at all. I love it.
Keep the stingers!! I cant live without them.
Every time the stingers are used, the funnier they are, IMHO. It's all part of the magic of The JHS Show and all spinoffs.
This episode flew totally of the rails and I’m here for it! Absolute chaos! Best Totally Normal Behavior yet! I was laughing the entire time while simultaneously learning information that I will most likely never In my life use! Keep up the Good work!
And MORE STINGERS!
Yeah, I absolutely hate the word “infotainment”, but this was that!!
Medley Music was amazing. It was near Villanova about 20 minutes from Philly. Huge store front two stories. I believe it’s closed now.
Thanks guys for the EPIC EPISODE!
I love the stingers. I sing them to myself randomly through the day.
Love this show and the new Monday Monologues!! You dudes and dudettes are killing it!!
It's awesome to see you guys having so much fun! Josh is actually giddy! 🤣😂
The “This pedal doesn’t work but I’m fine with it” stinger is a straight up BOP.

I LOVE your stingers and wish you guys had them available. Sometimes I just need to hear "FX 69 GRUNGE.....YEAH"
"That GIJoe looking logo there" is "Dissolution", the 59th hexagram of the I Ching. Dude.
Josh n Daniel Danger,
Thank you so much! I've been patiently waiting for TNB! It's seems like forever!
Giannini is from Brasil, the guitars and amps from the 60s and 70s are great, you should check them !!
I love the EH STUFF! You guys always pull out all the stops on wierd stuff!!! Love it!
Two ideas you can have for free:
1) a 3 series version of the systech overdrive
2) Daniel doing a 3 series t-shirt.
Giannini is a Brazilian Brend. Very important in Brasil before The economic opened in 1989 when The import Brends came to Brasil.
I have a Tone Banker and a Super Gas. The Super Gas is really a crown jewel. SAD1024 flanger, with vibe and envelope flanging. Mind blowing stuff. Love the Tone Banker too. Does great cocked wah tones.
It was cute watching Josh's composure fall apart when presented with rare pedals he just can't have.

Al parecer se traduce a "burst" en ingles y eso es lo que pensaba solo no encontraba la palabra en ingles.
This episode gives me the will to live!
Bring these shirts back please! They would be great permanent additions to the merch lineup
I fixed a friend's Xotic BB Preamp like 10 months ago by smashing it on the floor. Still works flawlessly!
the systech overdrive also answers your phone.
Where's all the viewers? This is way too good!👍🏻
Dang it you guys! Now I have to buy 3 t-shirts that I really don't need, but absolutely have to have. You have accomplished your goal.
Need that Sistech Overdrive as a morning alarm.Awesome show.
Giannini is a Brazilian brand, dudes.
Nice work on the Toadies art work Daniel!
I need all the stingers! You should release them on vinyl.
Also, PAiA is still around, making diy synth kits in Oklahoma City
I freakin love this show
Taking the pedals apart and unconnected wires springing out is unprecedented entertainment. All I ever want to see from now on
I'm new to the channel so maybe its been said a bunch, but Josh has big Greg Turkington energy and I'm here for it
Sick burn stinger always cracks me up
LOVE THE STINGERS!!!
Not only do many of us love the Zingers, a great many of us have made memes of them and use them on flakebook in NPD posts in pedal groups.
Awesome, guys... Daniel Danger is my favorite!!!

Love the stingers
Giannini is Brazilian, italian immigrants
“Kansas is not Japan” is my favorite quote of this episode so far

technically the big muff clone I put together in my garage is rarer than all of these.

i love the stingers. but could you start putting them in the corner of the screen? just after they start getting out of control.
When is the lizard Queen coming out???
I believe the cat drawing is a version of the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, so he’s literally a crazy cat. Also no blazer from Josh 😢
My mate Uri made an even more rare one in 1989 - its a breadboard wraped in a tank flap steel case and only one ever existed.
The rarest Muff clone is the one I built, because it's only the one and I still got it here. :D
Dead Heat? When did Josh become a cineast? 😆🍿
When the stingers hit, they're great. When they don't, they're still great.
You're not alone Daniel... Big Foot is also blurry.
I love the stingers. I prefer the OG "he has the box". Even my wife likes the stingers
The Dynamic Duo!
30:20 got old school Andertons demo vibes
Mmmmmm
Now I want an Earl Shores t-shirt
