Thanks, followed every step and it turned out great.. PS for new users when you sketch the circle + 2 lines then fillet the edges to trim the blade (4:30ish) -> Make sure to trim the circle edge before this is not done here, maybe old version of Fusion
It would be good if instead of the music there was some voiceover or at least description of what you are doing. I'm a beginner and for me this tutorial is too hard. It would be good if you could also add some information about how to model the features important in aerodynamics like the pitch, blade width and the type of aerodynamic profile applied to the blade. Without considering these basic factors, and adjusting them to the environment in which the propeller works, the propeller will be loud and inefficient.
Anybody understands Path/Include thing? 1:55 both ends of the tubes are not perpendicular to the plane he selected but still managed to produce circles. 2:13 even more confusing, he deleted the circles he just created. So what's the point of using Path/Include then? 3:15 he used shortcut menu to delete that extra line created by Path/Include but it didn't disappear. Why?
Hey, I am unable to select the line as a profile for the sweep at 3:28. Is there something I'm missing? Because I've triple checked what I have done and it matches this video, does a newer version of fusion put more restrictions on Sweep profiles?
@@SPARKPLUG98 Okay, so the difference was at 3:22 when you changed the workspace from "Model" to "Patch". The newer version of Fusion has many more options, and the Sweep tool needed for this task is under the "Surface" tab rather "Solid". Great video, really helped me out but perhaps considering doing an updated version for the newer Fusion, or if you have already, then a link to it in the description. Food for thought, cheers.
Overall a good tutorial. For future ones i would suggest not using the red dot on the mouse marker. It actually hides what you are clicking at. Voice would be nice as well. As it is now, i just have to hit mute to get rid of the very annoying music;-)

Fillet is applied to the sketch in the top plane (confusing because the whole body is visible under the sketch). Make sure your sketch matches: quarter circle arc intersecting with 1 vertical line and 1 horizontal line both coming from the origine of the circle center. You should have a closed sketch to which you can apply the fillets ..hope this helps?
This is really late and you probably already found a solution but I will leave this comment any way to help other people watchin this tutorial. All that being said I saw the little logo or icon on the cursor as they were completing this action, I looked under the sketch arrow and saw that it is the trim tool. Hope I helped and sorry for it being a late response but I am trying to start learning. Best of luck.
Are you guys really trying to help others or just showing how fast you can draw an object with that annoying music, sounds and other annoying noises? Please explain what you are doing and slow down....that will get you more support.
Yes.. Agreed.. And also the official channel of Autodesk Fusion 360 where there are live streams of Brad.. That guy's work is amazing too.. This looks more like skills show-off than a tutorial with that annoying music in the background.. Beginners won't be able to follow the steps..

Hi - I was wondering if you could explain this further at 4:30 filleting the edges doesn't work for me because i can't select the outer edge

Works fine for me , even in latest version I just tried it.

Awesome! Had to turn off the music but was able to follow the steps easily. Printing a modified version to replace a broken ATX PSU fan propeller

OK, but this is a flat blade propeller. The blades don't have a foil shape, which would make it efficient.
in 2:36, new update edit feature button is missing, where can i find its new location?
It's there only , look again ... every feature in timeline has edit feature option

@@pratikpc23 I just started creating things yesterday. I had no problems following. You just have to pause it and maybe rewind a couple times.
background music is giving me cancer... use better music save lives!
