My first and best experience buying luxury in a boutique was at Dior years ago, so it makes me sad to say that I cannot imagine buying new again at these prices. I will cherish my first Lady Dior forever, because it's going to be my last! lol
HI! I have a vintage (maybe) med. Lady Dior with a zip, in pink. I love having it. I had to buy a preloved bag charm and attach it to the strap, to make it long enough to carry cross body. This is the only Dior bag I really like right now and do not think I would ever buy one new. In fact, if I had to sell some of my bags, this would probably be the fourth bag to be added to the pile.
I can't see buying new Dior bags when they don't hold their value. It seems that resale prices are trending down for all brands and that's good news for me as a buyer. Maybe someday I'll buy a preowned Lady Dior. Totally not interested at current new bag prices.
I remember buying a Lady Dior in December of 2021 for 3500€. It is 5500€ now (from 4900€), a 2000€ increase in 1.5 years. I assume they need to keep up with Chanel to position their Lady Dior as their luxurious classic.
🌷I love everything Dior and have several pieces. Inflation and or price increases are everywhere, we might not like it but it’s here! If you have the funds and love the bag, I say get it….Life is too short 🌷

I bought a Lady Dior Clutch about a year ago for € 1,600 which was already pretty much for a wallet on a chain (imho) - that now retails for 1,900.... I knew I was done with Dior bags at that point. Everything else is just too expensive for me to justify. Bordering on Chanel prices and nah, I'm good.
I bought my medium Lady Dior in Navy blue, 2 years ago, preloved, but it was new, never used. I paid € 2650 for it. Lady Dior bag will always be a classic. ❤

I love Dior but I’m done buying new now. My medium lady dior went from £3.9k to £5.3k and my small ABC went from £3.3 to £5k in 2 years. My d-lite and my d-joy both went up by £400.. I would consider buying a small 95 22 bag in the future, but it would have to be preloved. I know they don’t hold their value but they are beautiful bags.❤❤
I love Dior and I wish I had got into Dior sooner. But I'm also glad I started this year around March. I bought my first Dior bag (My ABCDior Lady Dior small in black with gold hardware) from the boutique. It was $5600. Most expensive bag I've purchased so far. But no regrets. I paid using my Nordstrom gift cards and notes I had so it wasn't too bad. Very glad I got it before the price increase today. I don't think I would buy anymore Dior bags brand new from boutique but who knows. The only one last on my wishlist is a mini Lady Dior in Latte (white). I did however purchased Caro small in rose des vents last week from the boutique before the price increase because I didn't want to pay the new price. But saw that it didn't increase so I'm still happy I got the bag because I love it and it was on my wishlist anyways.

I would have purchased the D-joy in small based on your video but now was not the right time (I suspected it would have a large price increase) and with the price increase I will still buy it later on new or any other Dior products. I don't buy a lot of luxury items and I like knowing that I am the original owner to make my own marks/memories with the item and the boutique experience. As of today in Australia a large Lady Dior ABC bag is now $11,000 (7333.15 US$) , a Medium is $9,900 (6599.84 US$) and a Small is $9,300 (6199.84 US$) and they wonder why the fake and 2nd hand market is booming and instore sales are dropping. I love my small Lady Dior bag but there is no way I will be buying a new Dior or Chanel bag for that matter as I just can't justify the cost.

Though everybody says that Dior SA's are the nicest, I seem to keep having bad luck with Dior (Brussels) since they always turn out to be kind of rude A few days ago, I made an appointment through the website, when I arrived, the SA rushed my purchase, gave me dirty looks, didn't even offer anything to drink even though it was a hot day outside, I tried making conversation and told him about my birthday on the next day, he said nothing while looking at me like "ok and?" Istg without joking, I was in and out within 15minutes with my shopping bag. After my last purchase a few days ago, I decided never to buy anything from the boutique anymore, I'm not letting any rude SA earn a commission off of my coins. Thanks for the video anyway! I think the small can still be used for day if you aren't a heavy packer! As for color, it depends on what you think you would really wear more! It sounds like you tend to gravitate to neutrals, which is perfectly fine if that's what works for you best. If you are looking for a pop of color, you might try going for a bag with a lower price point to see if you'll use it 🙂
These price increases are making Chanel even more appealing lol, I just bought a mini and it is 5,400 which is probably comparable in size and capacity to a lady Dior small, and the LDior small is now more expensive 😮. Joke aside, I have never bought a Dior bag but always have one on and off my wishlist, and tbh even if I ever add one to my collection I would prefer to get it preloved 😊

Where is the best site to sell our Dior bags? I have 2 that are pristine and just want to cash out. Resale luxury take a big percentage. Not comfortable with local meetups either.
I would look into consigners in your area. Not the big three websites like Fashionphile or Rebag, but smaller consign businesses. I’ve sold with The Lux Theory in IG before and was very happy with him (based in Australia, but I didn’t have a problem with that myself). Feel free to check him out and say you heard about him from me!

Dior beauty had a small increase in fragrance (the smallest size went from $125 to $150) but nothing else I've noticed.
