Jared Shelton they do retail for that but at Walmart there $575 and since I have family that used to work at Walmart I got a associate discount so I got mine for $530
Glad to see fellow Jeepers enjoying some mini bikes! I have the CT200U-EX version with front suspension (game changer!) that is heavily modified with a 301cc Predator engine with a header, 30 series CV transmission, 60 tooth rear sprocket, custom rear suspension setup, and a Maxxis Big Horn style rear tire. It'll run 55 MPH, and 50+ uphill! I take it wheeling with my buddies on their side by sides, and they can barely hang with it on the trails. Another awesome thing about these bikes is that they fit perfectly in the back of an SJ Grand Wagoneer, or Cherokee, and will fit in an XJ with the back seat down.
@@bleepinjeep Done! I can post more detailed pictures of the rear suspension if you want, but it is a really simple setup. It should be really easy for you guys to duplicate on your bikes even though they're a different model.
If you can feel the difference in your seat, you added torque. Torque converter and gearing is the best way to go on the mini bikes, other than engine displacement.
I started watching your videos because of Jeeps. You have a lot of useful information. However my second biggest addiction is mini bikes. You are my one stop shop for videos now. The thing about mini bikes is you can’t mess with one without a smile.
This is a whole new level of ridiculous! Love it. Figured Matt would throw on a helmet going 50MPH down the public road though! Not my noggin, so it's none of my business, I suppose!
We always called them torque converters- #1 mod! (continually variable trans?) when on minibikes, before the CVT was common LOL. I bet it will make a huge difference...
@@bleepinjeep You should've bought the EX model with front suspension, and built a springer seat for it. Mine rides like a Cadillac on the trails, and I've put up to 60 miles in one day on some pretty rough trails without needing to see a chiropractor.

40 mph is that all I have the predator 212cc hemi engine I removed the revlimiter from the motor added a torque unit and performance muffler and get 60 mph
The rt200 is a re-branded monster moto with a jackshaft instead of one huge dumb rear sprocket, AND comes with front shocks for $599! I got one couple weeks ago, does 26 mph just by turning the throttle stop screw out. (They dont weld the screw heads on this brand). Most comfortable/biggest seat in the minibike world.
I honestly feel for them a bit, I bought the BT200x and mine has front suspension. I made a friend camping who had a bike just like these ones that had no suspension. And after he rode mine he was blown away how soft the once bumpy gravel roads were. Plus I can speed over the speed bumps without having a stroke.
Lol I just got my first mini bike Realtree RT100. And starting to watch videos on mini bikes and I'm glad to see this video here! Man it's like I was there with yall having fun a laughing like crazy. Love you guys already😆🤣
I bought a Coleman 200 (196cc)It went 23 when I got it. It did not take much to speed it up. . I changed sprockets, removed the jackshaft, used a bigger carb, free flowing exhaust, and thumb throttle. Now it takes all day to get to 30,but throws roost at 35 mph. It goes at least 60 mph,but won't climb for shit. If you live in the mountains,Do not do what I did. Next step is a supercharger.
Holy crap that’s crazy how much power it has now😆 this reminds me of the 80cc Suzuki I had when I was younger. I did some really similar upgrades to it with some very similar results. Good times lol.
You can take the governor out. It’s a plastic gear inside the crank case that keeps it from revving over 3600 RPM. Without it you can get more RPM and a higher top speed. Cars and Caneras guys have lots of vids on it.
Are the governor's deleted? And what was the difference between the 60 tooth sprocket and the stock sprocket? I'm assuming a bit slower but with more torque. Thanks.
Cars and cameras and red beards garage have tons more in depth videos for any of u interested in these Coleman bikes! There's also a Coleman mini bike group on FB with a ton of very knowledgeable guys! Loving the minibike content BJ! Keep it coming!

I may of missed it, you guys are getting 50 MPH without governor bypass or removal ? If thats true may pony up for a stage 1. The newer 196cc has a 5/8th shaft, so torque converter mod is a PITA. And a EPA carb with a non-removeable jet. Carbs are cheap though.
@@PowerstrokeBoizIt might still hit 50 going down hill. That's the only reason @BleepinJeep hit 50; they do good to hit 40-45 MPH on flat ground with those mods.

If I changed my sprockets for more top end would the govenor just still restrict it or would I have to take the govenor out for the performance upgrade with the new gear?
OK, first seeing Jeremy zip down the road was funny enough, then seeing the beer shoved in his frame took the cake. Well played, sirs. Thanks for the laughs! Might have to go get me one now...

I put a 212cc predator engine, stage one kit and a torgue converter....I love the bike....but the bolt that holds the driver assembly to the crankshaft keeps comes lose...I used some blue lock tight and it helped but I have to tighten the bolt every 4 miles or so...
Had the same problem, and I fixed it by finding a flat washer that fits the bolt, spray the washer and the bolt with Krylon gloss clear coat and reassemble while the clear coat is still really tacky. Also, removing the pull start cover and having someone use a ratchet with an extension and a 3/4 inch socket to keep the crankshaft from spinning will help you make sure the bolt is tight enough.
I live just north of Nashville. I'd get arrested if I rode those things around on the street. I may have to consider moving to east Tennessee 🤔. This was awesome to watch

Just my 2 cents.. Those CVTs are trash for true offroading, great for easy riding but not much more. I can consistently bury my ct200u-ex in any water or mud crossing and the jack shaft with centrifugal clutch will keep on hauling through.
