Heavy as all mighty Cthulhu Such easy riff, but the tone and the speed and the drums help out like a ten tonne truck the imagery and lyrics and their delivery are just so doooming and weary and heavy
After all these years . they retired and still Black Sabbath puts everyone, to shame. the Riff master Tony Iommi ; The bass legend Geezer butler and Ozzy still singing they are the creators of metal. long live Sabbath 🤘
Yeah that hits the spot , i was watching Tony's foot real close. I gotta work on my timing with mine , i'm off a little. It seems simple but not as easy as is looks , i keep hitting it to early or too late!
@@songshineoriginalmusic That's true , he still is so badass. You ever listen real close to his riffs on the Born Again album , they're haunting and so sinister sounding , especially on Zero the Hero. The solo on that song and the outro are so wicked sounding , it's subtle but dark sounding at the same time. If that makes sense...
@@songshineoriginalmusic No problem , i think you'll enjoy it. Listen to the song i referenced , plus Digital Bitch , Hotline and Trashed. Your in for a treat \m/
When it comes to Sabbath I always state as a guitar player my favorite drummer is Bill Ward.Imagine what it must be like to be approached and told hey, we want you to play Bill Ward's parts. That guy certainly looks like he's enjoying it, GREATEST BAND EVER!!!
1970, I was eleven, my much older cousin in Pa., Tommy B., had me lay on his living room floor with stereo speakers on either side and listen to the Black Sabbath album. That’s all it took, I’ve loved them ever since, have everything they ever recorded, with Ozzy that is.
When i was little i didn't really know what the song was about but i loved the beat . Man this was heavy n still is when i grew up i realized what this n children of the grave was about . I thought to myself their preaching to that nuclear bombs were going to kill us unless we changed Great music my favorite band of all time
cause especially back when it was first out there, people weren't as open about these issues, they didn't wanna acknowledge them. And especially with music people never want to look deeper into music when they're already old and set on their music taste. It's easier to label it

I honestly think that if it were physically possible for them to do it, Black Sabbath playing at age 90 would be the ultimate version of Black Sabbath. Grinding, decaying, slogging.... the older they are the better.
There are a ridiculous number of covers of Electric Funeral. Dimebag’s version being among the best. Almost every other cover tries to make it harder faster, but it doesn’t need to be. Another great cover is by Les Claypool. I though it was going to be too weird at first, but it grew on me.
It’s so primitive and honestly simple…. But it is the heaviest sound I’ve ever heard any band create, ever. And there’s only three people playing instruments.
Follow my true word my patriotic Metal heads for...To me and I know to many, they are considered the "Fore Fathers" who have wrote the original Declaration of all that is Metal📜 starting with Goth ✝︎ and then with it's great influence... evolving to all else 🔥
The riff that counts as a wepon of mass destruction.
The mighty Sabbath guided by the "riffmaster" , in Iommi we trust!!!\m/

Man, that's HEAVY.
It’s heavier than heavy

Heavy as all mighty Cthulhu
Such easy riff, but the tone and the speed and the drums help out like a ten tonne truck
the imagery and lyrics and their delivery are just so doooming and weary and heavy
Yes you got that right, awesome group
Heavy as fuck
This song is so fucking perfect, the riff, the solo, the lírica, the bass line, the Voice of Ozzy, pppffffff simply an orgasm for the ears
Yes I agree a awesome group Ozzy Osbourne a awesome singer
Even to this day this is one of those songs and sound that future metal bands tried to duplicate . It's an original and never bettered.
Yes only black Sabbath can do this song great, awesome group
There ain't a soul on this Earth that can duplicate this 🔥🤘
PanterA covered it and it was damn good but not as good as the original.

IMO the best version because of Tommi using more wah and string bending then usual
The absolute best version

Yes they did, before most of us were born
That is one dark tune....however one of my favorites . Cheers
Iommi looks so relaxed and doing his part very easy. The entry is scary and thrilling, much.
Black sabbath sempre será a melhor banda do mundo
Getting stoned and then listening to this on headphones as a kid in the 80s was awesome. The entire Paranoid album was awesome
Hey ! Don't forget about us kids from the '70 s !
This version is slower, heavier and more ominous than the original. Fantastic!
As a70 yr old rocker totally agree!
Love that guitar tone!!
I have to meet Ozzy and Tony before I die!!
Best of luck brother

Tommy did a great job. He even looks like a Young Bill Ward.
I swear if this Riff is an antidote he will Tear Covid apart.
2:58 I like how you can barely hear Ozzy because the music is so loud, yet you can still understand what he's singing.

That riff. Holy shit lol.
It's awesome watching a group of grandpas still rocking hard. Keep Rocking, Sabbath!

Yeah we all know who the supernatural king is
Because people are kinda funky in the brain
