  • A visit to the ophthalmologist set the Shaw family on an unexpected path to find help for their daughter Ellie who they learned has Septo Optic Displasia. The Shaw's were able to find help thanks in part to Rauch, Inc., an agency funded by everyone’s generosity to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
Thanks to Crusade funding, Rauch has been helping children like Ellie since the charity’s beginning. That total comes to more than a million dollars in 65 years.
Go to WHASCrusade.org to learn more about the WHAS Crusade for Children. 100% for the kids!

I have septo optic dysplasia. I found out later in my life *I'm almost 48 1/2* and I found out I have something called pachagria and, or polymicrogyria, subtle, not to bad, I foud out these things this year. i also have a bowed, narrowed, etc corpus collosum and I don't have a septum pellucidum. I'm living life fine. I have started loosing vision, not sure what is the cause. I might have some autism, or somethig, but idc I'm fine. :D I take the bus and stuff. :) I doubt I have it, but you never know. :p People always want to put a label. :))
