@spyrokid77666 its possible because Akechi lived through the power of being a gay icon- In all seriousness, its implied that he died, but...do we ever really get confirmation..? No. Just that Futaba can't sense his vitals. Hey, wait a sec.. wouldnt he be able to, i dunno... leave the metaverse? Just a thought hehe
@@dr.redacted2671 In the original, there’s no indication he survived in Shido’s Palace unless he has some sort of revival from death ability after Futaba confirmed he died. In Royal however if you push Maruki’s reality into power, he appears to have remained resurrected but is lying low from the public.
@spyrokid77666 i so prefer royal (solely because every time akechi is on screen i go feral. He's great.) Also bc idk... maruki is like really cool and i think he's a great confidant.
To be honest, I was excited and just curious to see cause the anime just played up the moments between Ren and Ryuji, was quite surprised with how far they made the ship tease go, just surprised lol

It’s a known bug I heard. Should be fixed in later updates.
