My major problems are I think related to supports and how much or how little I use relative to the size of the print since when removing the support the prints usually break. The other thing that drives me crazy is the filament snapping in the middle of a print or even as the end of the spool is just inside the extruder, I can't leave it sitting for an hour without the filament between the spool and the entry hole of the printer becoming brittle and snapping

I have been really lucky since getting into 3D printing. I started with an ender 3 pro and before it arrived watched probably 20 hours of you tube videos on the ender 3 , joined face book 3d printing pages and read everyone's hints and what problems they have had. Ive just ordered an Ender 5 plus and am starting the same process over again , I think a big part of being lucky is understanding how things work.

I’m late to the game, but my print failure are always due to supports. Either weird and tiny supports, or excessive supports without any in between. The Ironman helmet is the perfect example: it can be 80% support or 10% support and finding the balance is really difficult for me...

There's a really great solution to this! (Haven't watched the full stream, sorry if you cover this) 1) if you need support in an area and cura gives you a crappy small tower that will never hold up, make a shape in whatever 3d modelling / CAD program, import it into Cura, then in the Per Model Settings set it to print as support! Bam, custom shaped supports. Little more work but it has definitely saved me a lot of headaches and filament, as well as pull off some weird places. Or 2) use the support blockers to get rid of support areas. You can scale and rotate them individually, just like a model

Just started getting into it, your videos are a great help. Is there a way I can fill a hole at the top of my helmet without having to reprint the helmet?

Would you still recommend a 300×300×400 to do a project like the ironman suit? Would the K1 Max be suitable or still a lot of cutting with the k1?

Someone asked about the welding or a 3D pen. I use both and it depends on what I’m doing. Welding straight lines and the 3D pen I use when I poke holes in prints to strengthen them

When my mega x arrived a few weeks ago, I just wanted to print the test owls from Anycubic on the SD card and I was extremely desperate for hours because the first layer was extruded so abnormally and strangely that you couldn't even call it printing. I also couldn't watch videos that promise a nicer print because I didn't even have a print. The problem was then solved by simply using a file that I sliced myself and it worked great. Apparently the file was simply corrupted.
