The best Fatwood I ever got, was from old Pine roots. I didn't even knew, by that time, that it was a thing, and a well known way of starting a fire. Those roots were like gold for me, at the time! Take care Stay warm!!
Beneath the stars, a fire burns, its warmth a gift as the world turns, a humble flame, yet bold and bright, defying the chill of the silent night. the crackling logs sing songs of old, of hope enduring, fierce and bold. a traveler knows this sacred light, born of strength through endless night, so keep that flame and embers near, for it tells the tale of a life sincere, a good man’s soul, a steady hand, a light to guide across the land. for my friend
I use my dads band saw after I get some branches or some chunks, I turn them into 1/2" x 6" you can get some really good quality pieces when you trim off the not so good spots, I probably got 25yrs worth carved up, and the saw dust from it makes great fire starter too.
May as well go get all those stumps and store it up ! You are living in a Zombie rectangle, and they would just waste it ! Maby sell a bunch of it off💯👍👍🔥😎
