Cool freight House. I like the train set. The munchies look good too. It was great to see the film you did when you and Chad were fixing the handicap ramp in the side of the Freight House. I could see the new framing over the concrete block and that was about it. I could see your truck too. Nice little town from either side that you flew up from. Thanks for this Ken and Lauren.
I recognize that building! You guys were working on it in the rain a few days ago. Your daughter looks like a real sweetheart. You're lucky to have her and she's lucky to have you.
That was COOL❗❤️🥀🌹🀄🛐👍 love your dad and daughter time. I miss being with my parents. Hope your wife's back is feeling BETTER in JESUS'S NAME. I PRAY WITH YOU SANDY.. My back stomach hurt all the time too. GOD BLESS YOU. Thank you for sharing the history. You're so good at it. Very interesting. CHOW FROM S E MICHIGAN GREAT LAKES STATE 🇺🇸🇨🇦
Growing up I was fascinated by trains. I had a very large HO setup in the basement and would play and build the sets for hours. I enjoy riding any scenic train ride I can find. Love the drone shots of the whole area by the Freight House. Thanks for the video, Ken it brought back some fond memories!
The drone view makes it look idyllic. Rationally, I know there was the normal amount of good and bad things happening to folks there, but Nuts, Bolts, Screws, and Rivets it sure looks like a nice corner of paradise. Thanks
Ken, your video reminded me of what it would have been like before the automobile in the US. Railroad and streetcar passenger service was practical and efficient transportation. Eisenhower's 1956 Interstate Highway system Was the first nail of the coffin lid that destroyed public transportation in this country. The highway system we all enjoy, but it would be nice to have the public transportation system that we see in other countries.
You put your 2 channels together! That's where you replaced the walkway. Smart😉 Nice about your grandfather. Not a lot kids/adults know anything about their great grandfather, your daughter does.👍
I especially love this video adventure. My husband has collected and enjoyed the history of trains for a long time and this was wonderful to learn what history we have right here in Vermont about them! Looks like a nice town to now venture to and recall what you taught/showed us. And your daughter is sweet to join you
Nice video of the history Ken. My Dad would buy white gas at that gas station near the freight house back in the 60s on our way to Newark. There is so much history in that part of the country. Up here early 1900s is old.
Reminds me of what our small town looked like 100+ years ago here in Ct. Always cool looking back on a little history and putting the pieces together in your mind. BTW, based on the construction progress it looks like you did the drone video while Chad was out picking up the insulation.
