I lived in a little house next to Rt 9 under the water tower just above Cumberland Head, then moved into town. Graduated in '74, attended SUNY there, then left to join the Navy. I loved living in Plattsburgh, not too large, and not too small. The airbase was still there at the time. The graduating class of high school had only one graduation party and everyone went. Of course, things have changed, but I was pleased to see that Claire and Carl's and Gus's were still there. The Monopole still has great pizza.

Well outdoor activities like swimming, fishing, hiking, boating, kayaking and stuff like that are great! Downtown has a lot of restaurants with outdoor seating. I really wish they built a bridge from Plattsburgh to Burlington. This way Plattsburgh will have that leverage to really grow into a big college town.
Well there is the one just North of Plattsburgh, but is a bit inconvenient! Would certainly help to have a more direct route besides the ferry.
