Thanks Gavin & David, love the show! Which race do you think Galopin Des Champs will line in at the Festival? Having taken 28/1 about him for the Festival chase on Gavin's recommendation after Cheltenham last year, I've noticed he's really shortened up recently for the Turner's.

Fils D'Oudairies for the Coral Cup. First run for NH on Saturday past, pulled Nico's arms out for most the race, yet still finished 2nd,chasing the winner all the way to the line. Reminds me of Dame De Compagnie, that won the CC for NH a few years ago. Get him settled in a big field, he'll go close.
I was on Wayward Lad. Nobody ever mentions we had a lot of snow in England that year so he didn't have his intended prep run. Could have made the difference between 1st and 2nd
Gavin is 'yer man' or even 'Himself' in my humble onions. However 'Jamie, Jamie Jamie,' comes in with the occasional corker; and Royal Kahala was the e-way play that himself was had explained quite succinctly in this episode. Laurel and Hardy would have been happy gamblers following you both.

Lads, news through that ferney hollow is out. This paired with the inevitability that there will be more high profile names who won’t make the festival surely highlights the value which bookmakers are offering punters is not level par. At this stage there are few horses that are worthy of an sp of 2/1 or less . Where if atall can this become a more level playing field . I have been a successful ante post punter for years but year on year the value is being squeezed out of the markets. If this doesn’t level up we will loss this aspect of our industry. Do you think the Dublin racing festival needs to be looked at as most trainers are complaining of ground already? Also few horses also seem to underperform at Cheltenham afterwards (4 winners last year followed up, 2 year before)
Two cracking performances today in Pied Piper and Mullenbeg. Both travelled and then really finished up the hill. It is rare to see a bumper horse travel like that, and then find so much off the bridle. She might go elsewhere but the 33/1 NRNB for the Festival Bumper looked big to me. Both the Triumph and the Bumper appear to have moved on from the early season races. In reality did Fil Dor and American Mike actually achieve that much, or are their prices largely due the Gordon Elliott hype machine? It strikes me he picks out what he considers his big guns at the start of the season (the stable quite likely then punt them) and then seemingly nothing else can go near those races. I haven't backed him but to my eyes Pied Piper looks different gravy and there is no doubt he should run in the Triumph. If they only want to run one then Fil Dor is obvious candidate to be shunted off elsewhere.

Clearly this is the highest profile cheltenham festival show by far, and potentially your tips and analysis effects the antepost market with that in mind have you ever been leaned on in any shape or form by bookmakers who are fearful that your brilliant show could be damaging to their bank balance.?

Just had a look at En Beton. Does he really want another another six furlongs? Mullins was allowed an uncontested lead, and set a dawdle before quickening it up. The favourite came down when beat, and the second palpably didn't get home. Not sure 10/1 was value, and whatever it has been reduced to now certainly isn't. The key to the National Hunt Chase is whether Vanillier can reproduce his Albert Bartlett win. You look at the rest of his performances and wonder where that came from. Last time his jumping went to pieces, and he probably needs a new jock. Stattler looks like a Grade 2 two and a half mile horse. He didn't get home in the Bartlett, and had no excuses.

Great show lads but sorry got to disagree with you regarding Jonbon... horse ran really well considering he was given a shocking ride by Coleman 🧐 Tight bends flat track and jockey got him too far back off pace and on outside all way round! Turning for home he should have been a length in front not behind. Only jonbons talent got him out of trouble. Nobody likes a jockey basher but I wish these TV pundits would point out bad rides now n then and stop blaming the horse!

I know it’s incredibly frustrating when not all of us can get on at the prices but at the time this aired about 6 hours ago, 365 had 25s for gowel road and PP had 33s for Ultima. Never going to work for all but it’s the same as when RP, Hugh Taylor or most respectable tipsters prices go to print these days. Pre- digital downloads the night before for example, you would get price guarantees on some races the next morning but completely untenable these days
Why is Coeur Sublime 25/1 for the Arkle? He is four lengths off Ferny Hollow who is no longer in the race. I would ignore the Leopardstown run as he didn't have Blackmore on board, and he has run badly there ever since he came down as young horse. This was a Triumph Hurdle second who at one stage was a potential Champion Hurdle horse. Just a reproduction of that chasing debut puts him well in the picture. It would be nonsense to go down the handicap route. He isn't going to be well treated in a Grand Annual and does an inexperienced chaser want a 20 runner cavalry charge? It should be a very easy decision, even for De Bromhead. Talking of which it looks as if, by avoiding the Grade 1 2m6f in favour of a nothing race over shorter at Naas, he is heading for a big mistake with Journey With Me. The Naas race will tell him nothing. He knows that. For some reason he doesn't want any further track confirmation that the horse is actually a stayer. Having already won an Albert Bartlett with Minella Indo that reluctance is puzzling. Presumably, the owner thinks he has another Bob Olinger and is pressing to run in the Ballymore, as earlier in the season De Bromhead sounded like he was heading in the more appropriate direction. There will be no prizes for realising that the horse needs a longer trip after he gets done for toe.
Prices were all there when this episode went live approximately 5pm but trouble is with only 365 offering the stand out for gowel road is was never going to last long. Interestingly hills still offering 16/1 for gowel road to win any race at the festival as I type!
You will never see such blatant corruption in horse racing as we just witnessed with Klassical Dream. Sent of the 1/3 fav for a £21k race this horse went to 8/1 not to finish in the first 3. Watch this race. Mullins deliberately thru this race and made sure it wasn’t in first 3. Even just having £5k on at 8s gives u £40k plus 4th place prize money. Better still out to 6/1 for Stayers. Watch this race again and tell me this horse wasn’t to finish in the first 3. Absolutely disgraceful and from the most successful trainer to. Watch this waltz in at the Stayers. Worst thing is we know nothing ever gets said about things like this
It was a good race not a great race, went as expected. This is why racing is failing, we should have duels all winter long, but unfortunately it is a rarity these days to the detriment of the sport. Trainers, owners and media are cheltenham obsessed and avoid all competition till the festival. This is killing the sport, no wonder crowds are down, afraid to enter races because of one, leaving small fields and boring to watch.

5/4 is unbelievable value for allaho in the Ryanair. He’s definitely the strongest favourite at Cheltenham.
Wrist is a big price , unless, Energumene goes in the Ryanair- unlikely, but, possible. If it happens it would be 6/4 take your pick.

I know it’s incredibly frustrating when not all of us can get on at the prices but at the time this aired about 6 hours ago, 365 had 25s for gowel road and PP had 33s for Ultima. Never going to work for all but it’s the same as when RP, Hugh Taylor or most respectable tipsters prices go to print these days. Pre- digital downloads the night before for example, you would get price guarantees on some races the next morning but completely untenable these days

Why is Coeur Sublime 25/1 for the Arkle? He is four lengths off Ferny Hollow who is no longer in the race. I would ignore the Leopardstown run as he didn't have Blackmore on board, and he has run badly there ever since he came down as young horse. This was a Triumph Hurdle second who at one stage was a potential Champion Hurdle horse. Just a reproduction of that chasing debut puts him well in the picture. It would be nonsense to go down the handicap route. He isn't going to be well treated in a Grand Annual and does an inexperienced chaser want a 20 runner cavalry charge? It should be a very easy decision, even for De Bromhead.
Talking of which it looks as if, by avoiding the Grade 1 2m6f in favour of a nothing race over shorter at Naas, he is heading for a big mistake with Journey With Me. The Naas race will tell him nothing. He knows that. For some reason he doesn't want any further track confirmation that the horse is actually a stayer. Having already won an Albert Bartlett with Minella Indo that reluctance is puzzling. Presumably, the owner thinks he has another Bob Olinger and is pressing to run in the Ballymore, as earlier in the season De Bromhead sounded like he was heading in the more appropriate direction. There will be no prizes for realising that the horse needs a longer trip after he gets done for toe.

Can't take this seriously when they are quoting the best prices from the day before.
Prices were all there when this episode went live approximately 5pm but trouble is with only 365 offering the stand out for gowel road is was never going to last long. Interestingly hills still offering 16/1 for gowel road to win any race at the festival as I type!
Unless Gerri Colombe massively sharpens up his jumping he has more chance of pulling up than winning an Albert Bartlett.

He beat delegate by 2 lengths. Frankel's best performance was the Queen Anne and the Sussex stakes beating Canford cliffs

You will never see such blatant corruption in horse racing as we just witnessed with Klassical Dream. Sent of the 1/3 fav for a £21k race this horse went to 8/1 not to finish in the first 3. Watch this race. Mullins deliberately thru this race and made sure it wasn’t in first 3. Even just having £5k on at 8s gives u £40k plus 4th place prize money. Better still out to 6/1 for Stayers. Watch this race again and tell me this horse wasn’t to finish in the first 3. Absolutely disgraceful and from the most successful trainer to. Watch this waltz in at the Stayers. Worst thing is we know nothing ever gets said about things like this
Champ is banker material for the Stayers. Remember the way he flew up the hill in the RSA, beating Minella Indo and Allaho.

Already watched! But it’s not a competition!
It was a good race not a great race, went as expected. This is why racing is failing, we should have duels all winter long, but unfortunately it is a rarity these days to the detriment of the sport. Trainers, owners and media are cheltenham obsessed and avoid all competition till the festival. This is killing the sport, no wonder crowds are down, afraid to enter races because of one, leaving small fields and boring to watch.
Be pleased we saw this one then!
