Well lads, I have a good one for you. I was well up for the week going into Friday so I did a 75c Super Heinz for €90 on Day 4. Had 5/6 up going into the last. Vauban, State Man, (Hillcrest no show), A Plus Tard, BIllaway, Elimay. CO was 2.4k with a potential pot of 8.8k. Now after the finishes of the 3 previous races, especially Billaway, and the fact I was up for the week I let the bet play going onto Langer Dan LOL. Now I'm a Cork man and was in my local so the whole bar was aware of the bet so when the final race went off there was a Roar as good as the off to the festival.....a few seconds later, Langer Dan brought down at the first......silence in the bar......until one beauty shouts out "What a langer" and the whole place erupted again. Laugh a minute after that. Still ended up with €1250 for the bet itself but if only we got some run for our money. That's National Hunt racing for you. 🤣

I'd the first 4 winners, Telmesomethinggirl who probably would have won if not brought down, went heavy on GW but had a saver on Brazil (and told everyone I was sitting with to back Brazil ew), and Run Wild Fred in the last, paid for all the drinks on my card, got back and worked out I'd not even doubled my money! No wonder bookies are loaded! Still I've a good few ante post bets still going, Honeysuckle with Shishkin, Facile Vega (3/1) Allaho and Bob Olinger (different combos), and one accum with Tiger Roll (5/1) - good luck everyone tomorrow!

I still think brave mans game can jump his rivals into the ground and I think will get up the hill no problem. I backed kilcruit for ballymore and sir gerhard for supreme so wrong there but if I thought sir gerhard would win supreme I will have to back kilcruit. No winners from 24 from DJ over this series . 3 winners from Gavin Lynch - Elimay at 6/1 which the world knew about - the other 2 put up 2 days before it started ,LPresse and Flooring Porter who went off NRNB. Absolute joke how the bookies cut the prices over the last 4 months every time they put up a selection, but they wish they hadn’t now ! Key is next year to lay all the tips as going off false prices . Enjoy the show lads thanks again
Absolutely spot on. If the bookies had any sense they would hold or push out any selections from David and Gavin. Love the two fellas. Love the show. But the message is not to follow their selections.
Agree with DJ, Zanahiyr was closing again all the way to the line in 2021 Triumph. Probs not good enough to win the CH but deffs can be 3rd behind Honeysuckle and Appreciate It. That's my T/C anyway. 🤞

Supreme - I went through times on different ground and Dysart is much quicker than the others in the race, through full race, middle, and 2nd to finish over 2 miles. I had Dysart 1st bring on the night 2nd jonbon 3rd / constitutional hill pos 3rd but Jonbon middle part of the race is fast and I think he keep up with kilkrut and Dysart, bring on the nights times we're faster than jonbons over 1f 7 109 GS
As an American, I'll have to put my head in the sand all day at work tomorrow, and ACTUALLY WORK. This way I won't see any results before I come home at 330pm and watch the replays.
On Appreciate It, the line about Quevega is a red herring!!! Quevega was a proper Grade 1 hurdler who ran in the same bad Grade 2 at best (probably Grade 3 standard most of her years) races year after year.
