Hey Stephanie, please check if it’s the new meds you were taking for your yeast infection. I had developed an allergy to antibiotics and it can show in this form. I would also consider if it is contact dermatitis like have you started using a new body lotion?

Stephanie. This exact thing happened to me. ALMOST TO A TEE. First a yeast infection. Then a rash appeared under my boobs. Then spread to all over my body especially in areas where there are folds or can get moist like neck, the bend in my arm, pelvic bone area etc. I had it in all the places you did and more. The doctor said it wasn’t allergies. He said basically fungus is present all the time in our bodies and when a rash or infection appears, it is opportunistic and gives them a chance to grow and spread. Something like that. Anyway, the doctor didn’t give me pills but prescribed Clotrimizole. You can buy it over the counter as Lotrimin. It’s a cream used to treat jock itch or tape worm. Also they prescribed Nizoral to wash my body with. (Yes it’s a shampoo for dandruff that you rub over your body. Weird I know. It has anti-fungal properties. Lol at first I was like you want me to smear shampoo all over myself!!?) anyway that worked. But it took two weeks and religiously applying the Lotrimin twice a day. Obviously I’m not a doctor and I am not 100% sure your situation is the same as mine but thought it could be worth mentioning. Anything that could possibly help because I would never want someone else to experience what I went through. Wishing you a speedy recovery!! *Hopefully she sees this!!*

The maintenance had their own kids swim at that pool so they really kept it very clean looking. I even ended up going to the Drs because the rash got worse and I didn’t know it was from pool chemicals because that never happened before. And it didn’t always happen either and hasn’t happened since. Anyway, her rash issues could definitely possibly be from the water so I hope she sees your comment!

Stephanie, you probably won't see this but I've also recently been having bad skin issues. When you started tearing up saying that you felt gross was me just two weeks ago. I've always had skin issues since I was a kid and discovered what was causing my breakout, redness and itchiness was a new body wash I wanted to try out specifically for sensitive skin 😑 There's a good amount of bumps and itchiness still but it's the scars all over my arms that have made me so self-conscious. As a person with allergies to everything I totally understand how frustrating this can be. One thing I will bring up is I had a reaction very similar to this with a antibiotic I was taking. Maybe it could be the medicine that is treating the yeast infection? It took about 2 weeks to clear up for me. Much love 💕

    • @RoxanneLavender
      @RoxanneLavender 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

Totally same here. Too many allergies. I got a rash similar to that from an antibiotic i took a couple of months ago, it looked exactly like the rash on Stephanie's wrist, the big red one. I got an allergic reaction to another antibiotic, amoxicillin, a couple of years ago and i got loads of little red bumps from that one. Both of these rashes came up less than an hour or a couple of hours after taking the first dose of the antibiotic though. I suppose an antifungal could do that too, it's 'monistat 1', which is Tioconazole, serious allergic reaction side effects of this are rash, and itching. Now she's on systemic antifungals for the yeast infection, the rash is getting worse, suggests it's the antifungal. And continuing taking a medication that's causing a severe allergic reaction can fry the kidneys, and liver, and cause long-term damage, so it's a shame the doctors she's speaking to are incompetent af. Allergic reactions to laundry detergents rarely look like that. And also, the black poop thing, did anyone ask her if she'd simply eaten beetroot, or had a lot of iron-rich foods or supplements? Because that's the first thing a doctor should ask about regarding black poop. But to assume blueberries would be the culprit, lmao, as if these people are called doctors and people actually listen to them.

I’ve had a very similar rash a few years back and ended up being diagnosed with psoriasis 🤷🏼‍♀️ basically after going through major trauma and stress my body basically just erupted. I went to different doctors for two weeks straight until finally getting to a very very good dermatologist who did a biopsy and turned out to be just psoriasis triggered by trauma/stress. Did ointments, antibiotics, photo therapy and oat baths for a couple of weeks and then everything got settled and it began to heal. Years later I get small patches here and there when stressed but nothing of that significance nor scary. So many helpful comments here from people who've dealt with similar rashes - I hope Stephanie reads these comments and feels a bit comforted and/or they'll help her find the root cause of this issue.
I'm really grateful for the honesty and transparency Stephanie always shows in her videos. I struggle a lot with anxiety when it comes to my health and having health issues etc. The past year has been beyond exhausting for me since I've had multiple health issues going on that just wouldn't go away. It's been so frustrating and also stressful to constantly run to doctor's appointments and the hospital and so on. I'm always trying to stay optimistic and also be grateful that things aren't worse but sometimes it gets to me and I just feel like "why me, why can't I just be healthy?!" In moments like these, I feel like I'm the only one going through a whole health issue odyssey... so this video has shown me that I'm not alone, I'm not the only whom things like this happen to and if other people can get through this, so can I. But of course, I feel really sorry that you're going through all these health issues Stephanie and I truly hope you'll be fully healed again soon!♥️ We deserve to finally feel better again!!♥️

Aw, I'm so sorry hun. I break out in hives like that, everywhere, my mouth and eye lids swell up too. I have either a gluten or soy sensitivity. It just started in 2013, had never had food allergies all my life--just turned 35--but after being diagnosed with diabetes a month after graduating high school, all types of crazy mess happens now. I think it could be the change in environment, stress, or a combination of the two, but if it's still occuring, trying changing up your diet to exclude gluten and soy for at least a week and see what happens then. Love you, and I feel your pain. 💖

My dad has had the same rash as Stephanie for a month now and we have been to 2 hospitals and tried all kinds of medicine and it didn't get any better. Until my dad look up online and bought the Atoskin serum, it really helps with the itchiness but it doesn't seem like it gonna go away any time soon. So if anyone has been in the same situation and has any recommendations pls leave a comment. And Stephanie it ok to complain about the itchiness because It is not a small problem. It dependably makes your day feel like a living hell. Hope you get well soon Stephanie.

    "Welcome to my OnlyRash" 😭😭
Anyway, as someone who's no stranger to eczema and other mystery skin conditions...your situation will probably resolve on it's own. I remember like two years ago I started getting this gnarly rash on both hands out of the blue and it wouldn't go away no matter what I did but after a few months it started healing on it's own. Hopefully the meds help but if not try not to stress too much (easier said than done I know but sometimes stress can be a major trigger for skin conditions) and just let it run its course. Hang in there, Steph! 💗

I got this same exact reaction on my neck when I found I was allergic to the type of silver my necklace was made out of, and also when my skin got irritated by using a strong retinol on my face/skin. I haven't watched the whole video yet but my reactions looked EXACTLY like that so it might be good to pay attention to your body products, laundry detergent, or jewelry. Even if you weren't allergic to something prior, your body can still develop an allergy to it. Even if its just an allergy to a fragrance in a lotion. Hope this helps!

Stephanie don't worry about letting us know how it sucks to be itchy. As someone who always struggles with heat rash, I know how bad it is. Just focus on applying ice, and if you think your skin can take it get something to moisturize your skin. I would reccomend Krave Beauty's Great Body Relief.

I have Lupus, and it sometimes does affect the skin. Well, I'm the lucky one that gets all of the possible symptoms of Lupus, not just 3 or 4!
My skin itches constantly. 😫 For a while, I even had a rash like Stephanie's...over my entire body. It didnt itch though, not that I can remember anyway. But it did hurt. Now, I just have the itching without the rash. It is the worst, I have tried literally everything, from prescription creams, to otc meds, there is literally nothing that helps. So, I do hope that Stephanie gets relief, because I know how much it sucks!

😢😢I’ve had similar rashes in the past, it COMPLETELY covered my body… I’m taking to the point in my hair too. It was caused by steroid withdrawal as I was diagnosed with Lupus. I love slathering myself in E45 to help the skin but my issue is the rash has gone but the aftermath of my skin isn’t good, I’m left with dark patches on where the rash was. I’m wishing you the speediest of recoveries xo

This happened to me a couple years back. I was 23 and developing a new allergy, it started with chicken, every time I had it, I'd breakout with red itchy splotches all over me (a lot like yours). Then, I decided okay no meat, I'd "detox" and it stopped for 2 days and then started back. So I figured it was the gluten, so no gluten. Did some blood work, my body finally decided which protein it wanted to be allergic to and it chose egg yolks, now I can eat chicken and gluten again lol.
Also, calamine lotion helps a lot with the itching. I mean, your situation could be completely different but in case this helps 😅. Hope you feel better soon Steph!❣❣❣❣❣❣

Stephanie, try Boric Acid suppositories for the downstairs area. It helps regulate the flora.
And watch some Dr. Berg videos about allergies and rashes. He will probably mention something about nutrition and gut. Many of our imbalances start in the gut and then manifest themselves externally. Steroids will help with the symptoms, temporarily, but if you locate the actual cause then you may fix it for good.

Had this a few times in the past, usually due to stress or change of environment that make your immune system goes down. The hives or urticaria rash can be trigger further by other factors such as certain food, which for me was shell fish. It's actually quite common and goes away with plenty of rest to let your body recover. Also, try not to scratch or touch the areas where you can see the white dots appear, because that's when the hives surface, and may leave a scar if scratch to hard. I don't think there's really a need for medical attention, as they probably will just prescribe you a cream to help with the itch and tells you to take antihistamines. The worst one I had, I just took antihistamines and slept for 16 hours straight, recovered right after. The only problem is this can be reoccurring, so make sure you don't get stress or have lack of sleep for long period of time.

check your tampons, if you have recently used/changed the brand or if its very old. also for itchiness try using vaseline after you shower on a wet skin. not dry but wet skin. it helps keeping the moisture in and can lessen the itchiness. cool water is better. you can also wipe with cool cloth and then apply the vaseline

    To stop those itching,
    Use “Agnesia Antiseptic Dusting powder”
or “Dettol Antibacterial Powder” (must be powder form, the liquid versions are highly erosive ), keep dry , if you scratch too much that it breaks the skin, it’ll leave spotty scars. Wear something that prevents your finger nails from scratching your skin.
Calamine Lotion is also worth using to reduce itchiness.
