Today we’re taking a look at the Cooler Master CMP 520 mid tower Gaming PC Case courtesy of Cooler Master. The CMP520 is a midrange value case from Cooler Master that offers good case airflow with the three included CF120 fans as well as some ARGB goodness. I’ll be building a Ryzen 7 7700x system in the case in order to evaluate build quality and cooling performance.
The CMP520 is a solid midrange case offering support for up to a 350mm long graphics card and supporting up to a 160mm tall tower cooler if you opt to go with aircooling in this case. This case has a mesh front panel to allow the three included CF120 fans to create a good amount of airflow and air pressure inside of the case. By default, the fans are all installed in the front position. The front panel does support either the three installed 120mm fans or two 140mm fans for air cooling support. These fans are controlled by the ARGB fan hub that’s included with the case. The ARGB fan hub supports 4 total fans using the 3pin RGB headers. If you want to run an AIO for your CPU or GPU, you can install a 240mm or 280mm AIO in the front as well as the top of the case. There's a 120mm rear fan mount as well to help exhaust warmer air. There are 3 mesh elements on this case in order to help with airflow and dust reductions, the front panel is a 3d geode design with a mesh panel, the top of the case has a magnetic dust filter and the button of the case has a mesh filter for the power supply. This case does feature a PSU shroud which normally helps with hiding the excess cabling and extra hard drives and SSDs. The PSU shroud on this case does have some air vents over the PSU area as well which is a nice added touch.

Can it support an rtx 3060 or 4060? zotac
Hi! Absolutely! I've had 3060's and 4060's they should all work in this Gaming PC case. Were you building a new gaming PC?
@@STS Planning to, I also want to know if its possible to take one of the preinstalled intake fans and put it at the back as exhaust?
I have a 520 case that I just got. I noticed that the chassis fans are connected straight to the psu. Is there anyway that I can put them in my motherboard so they are not constantly at full blast?
For the included fans on this model, no, they are unfortunately Molex, this was a cost cutting measure on the case.
does this case support the MSI RTX 3060 Ventus 3x?
Sorry for the late reply here. Yes, it definitely should!
Hey im just wondering does this case have an included fan hub?
Yes
Sorry for the late reply Xavier, Zee is correct, the fan hub is included!
What type of build were you planning out? Or are you looking to just upgrade your case?
CAN i use lt720 deep cool on mb520 ?!
Hey sam im curious if you could help me with sumin
What are you looking at?
@@STS so i wanted to start up on pc and i didnt want it to break the bank so we got a mining card and it looks pretty used but that wasnt the problem its an rx570 8gb but we tried downloading bios we dont know if we messed up idk but when we try to download AMD Adrenaline Software and activate it, it says something like windows update may have automatically replaces your and graphics driver, me and a friend have been at it for 8 hours and we just want someone to be pulled in discord to control the situation cause were stupid
Idk my only hope is actually technical people lol, reddit wasnt much help
Hmm ok. It's definitely normal and ok to buy used mining GPUs, it may have some of it's maximum usable life used up but you can probably get a bit of life from that RX570 8gb still.
Let's start with what BIOS you installed, what is the actual model of your RX570 8gb, and what is the current problem. If you can list the other system specs that might be helpful too.
@@STS can we hop into a discord or something we have all the info but he said itll be awhile
