Great again! As I said everything on the m8 is muscle memory which would be way more effective holding it in your hands. You could have your scene split horizontally with the m8 in your hand to the left for instance and the shared usb screen to the right! Would be even more enjoyable to watch imho

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not really a fan of videos where people move through a project really really fast because they have the muscle memory. I might revisit the way I make these videos down. Thanks again for watching.

there's a fast way to do variations. select a cell in song mode and then hold shift and press edit twice for a "deep clone". it will clone everything down to the notes but with new "numbers" so to say.
select a cell, then hold shift and press edit once is a "shallow clone". it will keep the pattern numbers the same. (if you only want to transpose them)

Ahhhh yes!!! Thanks for the comment. My brain can only fit so much information and Deep Clone didn't make it hahahahaha. Thanks for taking the time, hopefully this can help other people.

So asking this as a total music newbie and new m8 headless user - where do you get your samples/sounds from and how do you go about recording them?

I will create sounds using the other boxes in the studio or record found sounds with my field recorder. You can also grab free sounds from places like Wavetick.com
