Transformers The Last Knight - Solus Prime "The Maker?" Shadow Spark Optimus Explained

- Transformers The Last Knight, is the mysterious female voice we hear in the recent Super Bowl tv Spot Solus Prime? I think I have a possible theory regarding Shadow Spark Optimus Prime & Megatron's new look. What's up you guys. My name is RBG and I'm back with another speculations/ analysis video regarding Transformers The Last Knight. With that said this video isn't gonna be a breakdown of the recent TV spot we got from the Super Bowl but I'm gonna take parts that I deem important in backing up my theory. Because in my opinion it didn't showcase things that we haven't already seen. I'd say there were a couple of things were noting that could potentially explain a lot regarding the premise of this film. But the main things I wanna focus on are Shadow Spark Optimus Prime and Megatron's new look. There seems to be some weird things going on between these two, and it's be eluded to that their roles will be switched this time around. Ever since we got those weird teasers showcasing the Autobot and Decepticon Leader's faces I wondered what the significance was. They both have this dark eerie feeling to them with the glowing purple eyes which a lot of viewers are assuming to be related to dark energon. But the thing thats striking to me the most is the weathered red paint on both their faces. Just what the hell is going on with that? Is it trying to tell us that these two are somehow linked? Like could they be working together under someone else's orders or what? I think I have a good idea on what's going on but I think we have to look at all the trailers we got from The Last Knight and analyze them with scenes from Age of Extinction. So it's obvious that the Autobots have been through a lot of shit of the coarse of 10 years, and the 1 who's endured the most out any character would have to be Optimus. The poor guy has watch so many of his fellow Cybertronians die. He's worn and beaten and it seems like the more death he see's the more blood thirsty he gets. I mean for the most part we've seen his kill count double in every film, I'd go so far to say he's killed more than Megatron. Which I can't blame him because although he's given his all to protect the human's of Earth, they have given him nothing but problems.
I'm not sure if this will be harped on in The Last Knight since it is just loose canon but since they are trying to incorporate the comics and other parts of the TF mythos I hope it will. Because this will only add more weight to Optimus' conviction to restore Cybertron. But I don't think they're going to. But anyways we're looking at an Autobot at the mercy of his obssession and unfortunately his obssession to protect the ungrateful humans led him to sacrifice his world. With all that said I would like you guys to focus your attention to Lockdown's ship in Age of Extinction because I think that plays a key role in The Last Knight. If you remember Lockdown's ship was like this weird Frankstein vessle because it was basically a ship that featured parts of different other ships. And 1 of the main parts that Lockdown took pride in was the Knight's Temenos. Many people mistake that part of the ship as the enitre ship because Lockdown says it's 1 of his prized possessions and it took him centuries to obtain it. But it's just a portion of the Legendary Knight's ship that serves as Lockdown's personal prison. I mean if you look it up the term temenos literally means a piece of land marked off from common uses and dedicated to a god, a sanctuary, holy grove or holy precinct. So this piece or room was like the Inner Sanctum of the Knight Ship and was once considered sacred to the original Primes the used it to roam the universe. We get the hint that this cell use to be sacred when Lockdown reveals what it is and Optimus tells him that he's disgraced it. The Knight's Temenos is said to hold great power and mystery and we get a brief taste of that in the later half of TF4 where Optimus goes into the Temenos's armory room and pulls out this Knightly longsword.
I should've gone out of my way to explain this in the video. They only showed 7 total Primes in Revenge of the Fallen whom all were males including Megatronus (The Fallen). Unlike his original origins which involved him being banished after he killed Solus, Megatronus was banished for trying to take the Matrix of Leadership and sun harvester for himself. Even if Solus Prime is in fact dead, please be reminded that death has never stopped a Prime from getting in contact with someone. Case and point the 6 deceased Primes in Revenge of the Fallen got in contact with Sam through the Matrix of Leadership. So maybe the same can be done with Solus through her Forge...I'm just Saiyan.

When I first heard of the plot leak that says Optimus finds Cybertron and discovered that he was responsible for it's destruction, it immediately reminded me of what happened in the Bayformers Comics too such as the Defiance and Rising Storm storyline. Since RBG covered the Defiance storyline in this Video, I'll cover the Rising Storm storyline because here's what Megatron says:
Megatron: *You stole the Allspark, Optimus Prime. You sent it hurtling through space. Yet you always blamed me. Was it my sin that I laid claim to the bringer of life? Or that I sacrificed myself in search for it? By throwing the Allspark away, like a petulant child, you condemned our world to death... So we Decepticons had no choice but to condemn your Autobots to do the same.*

Megatron also blames Optimus for Cybertron's destruction because Optimus removed it from Cybertron.
So here's my theory on who the mystery "Maker" is and the connection between Shadow Spark Optimus Prime and Megatron. As always I ask that you guys leave your thoughts on what you think and let's have a good time ^_^

That's a really good theory. Maybe Sentinel Prime or Primes in general have a fail safe device or something inside them that possesses them to fight for Cybertron.

I think all of the original 13 Primes, including the Fallen, died in the 2nd movie. Sentinel and Optimus were all that were left. Optimus is now the last one. I honestly think Galvatron goes to Lockdown's crashed ship and upgrades his look with knightship weaponry. I think the Aliens we see in the beginning of Age of Extinction are the Creators. Maybe Bay's version of Quintessons. The main one is clearly female, judging by her voice in the last teaser. Reminds me of the Borg Queen from Star Trek. The thing that makes me skeptical that the maker is Solus Prime is the fact that Solus is 1 of the 13 original Primes, and they died hiding the Matrix from the Fallen. I think the 13 Primes were The Creator's 1st creations. I think they somehow rebelled against them and went off on their own. Jetfire said they were their original leaders. Maybe they made the allspark too as a way to create Transformers without harvesting Transformium? It does the same thing, but much more efficiently. I think the hammer Bee uses is just a new weapon he gets when he gets his new body.(They get new weapons when they get new bodies) It is pretty small and unremarkable. Solus Prime could be the builder of the Knight ship weapons, but I think she's still dead. The Primes as seen in Revenge of the Fallen are noble and brought Sam back to life. Why would one of them other than the Fallen, be a traitor?

It could maybe be Liege Maximo. He was the illusionist of the 13 primes and manipulated Megatronous Prime to KILL Solus Prime because Solus Prime created an indestructible armour (which was shown in the series Transformers Prime) for Liege Maximo, but would not give it to him because she knew that he would use it against the Primes.

Shadow Gallade yeah. There is no clear indication that it's a prime. Cuz the primes are dead. Optimus is the last. Solus isn't a part of this continuity.

I know this is an older video, and we now know the voice was Quintessa, but still a good video. I think one of the most interesting things you mentioned was the possibility that Optimus & Megatron may have got their red mark on their face by taking a wespon out of the vault on the ship.

I think the new prime is bumblebee cause it's hinted that Optimus will die and pass the matrix on to bumblebee, or hot rod, cause one tweet from transformers claimed there will be a golden knight and bumblebee is golden, or yellow. But basically bumblebee will probably be the new prime. Also I think the female voice is probably the queen of the quentessons, also known as quentessa. And I know, quentessa is a planet but a ton of speculation leads me to believe that they will give the name "quentessa" to the queen. Plus it sounds like a female name anyway. And that hammer could be from lockdowns ship. Or it could of been made by Cade himself. And solous prime is called the creator or the maker but for weapons, she never created actual cybertronians.

Ammar Khalid optimus passed the matrix to hot rod in g1 so hot rod became a prime and turned into rodimus prime. and tried to pass the matrix to sentinel prime in transformers 3 so sentinal prime could be the leader again.

The Forge! Of course! How was I so blind! I used 2 watch Transformers Prime (a TV show) where Optimus was killed and then he turned grey. Smokescreen (an Autobot) used the Forge 2 revive him! Thanks for helping me realise that!😂

I love how you made Bayverse Optimus more fleshed out. You gave us a great reason for Optimus to become more dark, grim, bloodthirsty, and uncompassionate. I gotta admit, I feel bad for Optimus because of all the suffering he endured. Our betrayal, Sentinel Primes' betrayal, Megatrons' betrayal, the Cybertronian Civil War, and the many deaths of his fellow Autobots. When you explained the true reason for Optimus to become like this, that affected us and, in a way, made us feel more sympathetic towards him.

There's a chance of being Solus Prime is the Maker. In the Trailer (Super Bowl Spot), the female voice/narrator that speaks about like: "Do you seek redemption?", well I'm sure Solus Prime is a female so that means that Solus Prime is talking to Optimus Prime and making a vow or something like that

I definitely like your review man and I think you're right about a lot of your ideas for the next film however one thing that you should have mentioned as if they talked about the creators and since you mentioned the 1986 film you should have brought up the fact that the quintessons are the creators and they could also be featured in the film

I've got one myself. Maybe it's just her way to communicate with him. She claims to be the creator, she might pose like she's being above things, trying to persuade Optimus to do stuff for her. Something like "it's YOUR world, fight for it!" motivation speak.

RBG... I'm not going to say you are spot on, but your analysis has a lot of thought and substance. That hammer Bee hits OP with is definitely the hammer of Solus Prime, so its a strong possibility that she is going to either be in the movie or play some type of role. Your attention to detail is great man. I had to watch several times before I realized it was SP's hammer.
But in the ships in the fourth movie you can see a hand with skin controlling the seed , and there are now biological parts in the newer tansformers(i.e. The hounds on lockdowns ship) your theory is going in a good direction but perhaps they are the biological creatures who actually created the Cybertronian race . And some of the comics it is Canon that there was a biological thing ( I forgot the name of them) that created the CybertrOnian's they had like four faces but I'm not sure how much of the storyline they really play in I feel like that's what they lock down says you weren't and born you were built.

Well, that girl creator is Quintessa, so maybe there is some connection. But we don't really know, if those organic beings were the creators themselves, or just their servants. Quintessa seems to be one of those creators (well the only one so far, but things could change) and she definitely looks metalic enough to me.

Oh yeah I think Megatron manipulated KSI technology and transformed him back in time to add to your theory about the shield or hammer to make himself a knight. His first head shot said in Cybertrionian "Megatron, Knight" on the forehead. Pretty sure u touched on that before. Just wanted to add to ur theory

What happens is that when optimus prime goes to his creators, they change his look and mind and turns evil. That is why in transformers the last knight trailer, he said " for my world to live, yours must die"
When you just said that Optimus is getting grimer and also more bloodthirsty you made a very good point including that he may have killed more than Megatron. I know the Age of Extinction had him with PTSD. And even the "maker" asked him if he wanted redemption and he said he did. Like it is like he is being weathered and hurt by time and all his emotions of being a leader. I just feel bad for Optimus. It's like everything he has gone through he has gone through on his own. No one really helped him. It is taking a toll.

Really great analysis. It's bothered me how much more violent Optimus has become. A far cry from the Optimus I remember from my childhood. Your reasoning as to why makes total sense! Though the movies have been hit or miss for me. Still going to see "The Last Knight" regardless.

I agree also that is the hammer/forge of solus prime but that is not the first time the hammer is shown or used. Transformers animates series (Prime and Robots in Disguise) actually silently links TF4 and TF5. There are episodes where bumble bee and his team was in search of solus prime hammer. Also there was several episodes explaining the existence of cybertron and earth. Some episodes actually mention why the fallen was actually on earth with the sun harvester. If you watch the recent animated series, you will see and understand what those horns are in the super bowl preview. Something wicked comes this way, and if the stories are connected between the last 3 movies and the animated series, there will be a lot of questions answered.
as a long time fan of transformers, I have to agree with the majority of this theory and video. I am pretty excited for this film's story and the idea of going back to the medieval/knight lineage. I also love the new idea of Megatron getting a new look and becoming somewhat of the anti-hero in a way.

I was expecting Quintessons since they are the "creators" in the original cartoon combined with the fact that the aliens in AOE we're almost octopus like(cybernetics mixed with a tentacle) as well as flying in ships that resembled shell fish,that being said your theory on Solus Prime makes more sense with what we've seen so far and it wouldn't be a stretch for them all to be connected or even leading towards Unicron in a future film. I'd definitely be surprised and happy if they chose her instead of just using Rodimus as the newest Prime.
Good job on The video from all my knowledge of transformers i was under the exact same assumptions as you are with solus and the primes. I think your dead on with this video but we can only wait to see what they have in store for us. However knowing what we've seven so far I think there's gonna be some twists to what we know of the transformers universe that we have yet to see. Thanks for the vid and keep up the good work!!

U pointed out a really good point about Optimus that reminded me of a decepoticon in by which gave Optimus and megatron problems i forget the episode and the cons name all together but he was a dark Optimus prime like u said he was some kind of a shape shifter who everyone thought was prime but soon found out it wasn't due to the face that Optimus was present and other things but maybe they've worked this deception some how into the new movie as Optimus but might not really be. Thats my theory
