Godherja is a breath of fresh air in a world of Crusader Kings mods that are direct derivatives from established IP's. Not saying that they are bad, many are excellent, but a new universe and lore to enjoy are well welcome. Thank you also for making these videos, they're excellent and I can see your skills improving exponentially with each post.
Loved the format of this and the presentation. Ugh. It's mindboggling how much care they put into their lore. I feel like there are no placeholder cultures, which is impressive considering that this world was made for Crusader Kings.
Just wait. I’ve been soft launching the lord. Soon it’ll be more organized by region as I present it and you’ll get a wider scope of the madness of its depth.
That's sort of what I aim at showcasing with a lot of these videos. I like the Sjalvolki but a vast majority of players -- for some reason -- see Aversaria as some sort of tragedy when they were literally the evil empire. I want people to have better options to play haha.
Man, I loved your content before but I can’t get enough of the Godherja lore videos! I first played the mod a few years ago (I believe it was one of the first TC mods for CK3 to be published on the workshop) and thought it was a cool concept; I never imagined it would have the depth it has now, both lore-wise and mechanically. Keep it up, dude!
I have many MANY more I’m working on. Spreading it out soon across the whole world with the help of the people who wrote their individual regional lore. It’s been a lot of fun putting them together. I have so many planned haha
@@Soul_Tomato That's great to hear! I've seen you in the Godherja Discord quite a few times so I know you're putting in work. I look forward to the future videos.
Absolutely loved the video, and you nailed the cultural and tradition vibes of being like a folklore telling around the fire.... I'd love if you made a similiar video about Legan Hecaeda and the Anoterion Legion, my favourite character in the mod. Anyways, coming upon your channel and seeing your content was probably the best discovery of 2023, looking foward for more!
@@Soul_Tomato Also, I find it very heartwarming how your lore video brought so much attention not only to the mod, but to you aswell, it's as if both of you raised each other's popularity, definitely deserved for both!
@@LonelyKnightess new world Computing animations tend to have that effect, especially if you're young when you first witness them. HoMM4 Winds of War intro gave me nightmares as a child. Also, thanks for creating this mod. I don't even play CK3 and I'm invested in the lore like crazy lol
Been watching you for a while, I don't have CK3 on my computer nor do I think it could run it but I do love Godherja so so so much, just from the few videos made by others and of course your own creations Soul Tomato; I want to play this soooooooo bad. But nonetheless your videos are a huge delight, the lore and editing is super entertaining and engaging! I don't often comment on videos because I'm a private person, but your vides are restlessly captivating and so I say keep it up, I'll be happily watching on the side-lines cheering you on!

That’s exceedingly kind of you. I appreciate it tremendously.
More like OtaChad
you beat me to it lmfao
I see no lies here
I'm a simple man. I see lore that is based on irl steppe nomads, I click.
As one should
Otochad is my new favorite character

I mean he’s OtoCHAD so of course he’s great! But seriously I really like him to.

new godherja trailer at modcon showed a unique decision to rebuild Otached's Empire so I had to come back and rewatch this awesome video lol
Love to hear it
I love how despite the game being about the aversarian vs sjalvolki theres so much more outside of that

I love this video, never played the largest country of Godherja lol, I try to play medium-sized countries for grand-strats.
Glad you liked it!
Loving the Godherja content!
Glad to hear!
Got me hyped for an olentic playthrough

My favorite culture in the game! Love me some Otachad and his people😎
OtaCHAD 💪🏻🙏🏼
So that's the reasoning behind the tradition "Otachedian Law" in the game....
Indeed
Always know it's gonna be good

@@Soul_Tomato Do you plan on doing a longer let’s play in Godherja?
That chin, he’s looksmaxxing! My eyes, my eyes!!!
Look and despair
The real question to ask: do Olentics also practice a form of throat vocalizing like the Mongolians?
If they don’t, they should
The priests do
Loving the Godherja lore
Glad to hear

I’m glad you think so! I do it for y’all so hearing your kind words means a lot
This seems inspired by armageddon's blade vs sword of frost from Heroes of Might and Magic
That series is a named influence of the mod itself so that’s very likely

I'm glad someone caught that lol the intro is burned into my brain.

I really liked this style! Love Godherja and love any lore videos on it
Glad you liked it! I may do a similar one in the future
These videos are just getting better and better! Keep em going!
I shall!
this is basically game of thrones if warlords were one piece characters
Brand new sentence
I liked the atmosphere in this video really added to it just great content
Thank you! I was worried it might be too distracting so I’m glad it wasnt

Another good video, but the crackling fire was a bit much.
Weren’t a fan? Too loud?
@@Soul_TomatoIt’s a bit loud, but the video was great!
@@lauritsballing2629 I'll keep that in mind, thank you!
