It's not like she touched a single person their beyond the criminals who assaulted her, or one of Silco's goons. What happened to "her home" wasn't a factor in her motivations at any point until episode 6. You can only say that the people in the Shimmer factory that she attacked are "Silco's goons" based on that technicality. I'll give it to you that Vi is aware of this technicality and probably wouldn't have attacked the Shimmer factory if she thought they were unrelated to Silco, but that just supports my point: Silco controls the Undercity, making Vi the enemy of both of them. EVERYONE except the Firelights (and old friends like Jericho and the brothel troll) count as "Silco's goons". Vi only ever fighting the people who directly attacked the people she cares about doesn't mean anything about whether or not she is opposed to the Undercity, because - in the scenario of an all-out war between the Two cities - _everyone_ from the Undercity would be out to directly attack people she cares about (Particularly Caitlyn, though). 3: This one is a bit less obvious considering how little people pay attention to episode 2, but read this: "We were here, we saw what they did! I grew up knowing I'm less than them, that my place was down there. I want Powder to have more than that, and I'm willing to fight for it." Now that Mylo and Claggor are dead, and Vander and Powder are gone as far as Vi is concerned, the only ones she has left are Ekko and Caitlyn. Ekko has befriended Heimerdinger, so it's very unlikely that he would be fighting against Piltover to protect Silco's playground. Even if he does, that just adds some emotional conflict to an otherwise very easy decision for Vi to fight on Piltover's side of the war. Sorry for such a long comment.
Approved and at the Caithlyn part that comes after it the lines are (Your Mother is dead). So Caithlyns Mother is dead along with everyone except Heimer, Viktor, Jayce, Mel so thats half no one else would be needed alive and Robot dude who was the last survivor from their species is also dead R.I.P
Well, we know Jayce survived, and probably Mel as well, since the way Ambessa was talking (presumably to Jayce) doesn't seem like she was mourning for Mel or THAT angry. She's probably just angry enough because Mel was severely injured. So that's 2 surviving.
She was the first to mention it to the council, but yeah it's significant because she acknowledges that the undercity liberated itself, becoming Zaun. But it also means that she doesn't have to hold back anymore as they are fighting a warring nation.
Maybe the reason Jayce isn’t in the trailer much is because he’s near fatally wounded from the rocket. And this is what causes Viktor to go “Glorious Evolution” in order to save his life. It’ll be a reversal of the first season where Jayce is trying to save Viktor’s life.
So here's what I expect the result of the Big F U Rocket to be: - Jace is not dead (duh). - Viktor is not dead, but boy is he close! They're gonna use Hextech for him to get his *glorious evolution*. - Mel might be dead, but then I don't know who her mom is talking to. Maybe Jace? - Cait's mom is dead, makes for nice family drama with Vi. - Everyone else? So damn dead, Kindred didn't even get to see the corpses. Edit: That's some nice non-analysis you're doing there, mate.
The only thing that makes me think that Caits mom isn't dead...maybe comatose... is cuz she and her husband get kidnapped by C and Cait saves them (in the game lore atleast)
i’m not sure if mel is dead, but my theory is that her mom is talking to caitlyn in those scenes. it’s similar to the way she talked to jayce in season 1, sparking violence in him!
Agreed on everything except Mel absolutely cannot be dead, not even a chance. There are way too many character arcs that would get blasted into nothing from that. I mean Mel's thing with her mother is very much unresolved, while her mother's main arc and conflict (her philosophy vs caring for her family) would basically cease to exist and her character would become a one note avenger with no chance for developement. I'm thinking she's seriously injured, maybe in a coma, which would allow for her mom to go on her revenge quest without Mel affecting her judgement or decisions in any way. At some point she'd wake up and they'd have some form or confrontation about the methods her mother has been employing against Zaun's civilian population.
EDIT: I guess if they did kill Mel (which I still find extremely unlikely), I could only see it being used in a way where Embassa becomes a giant common threat to be taken down through some accidental/weird cooperation by Piltover and Zaun (since the only thing stopping her and making her give a shit about Piltover is gone) or by Jinx and Vi together (I think the two of them will take down wolfdude instead due to obvious thematic reasons, before facing one another, or wolfie interrupting their fight.) Edit edit: (Actually no, Jinx didn't really have a connection to Vander like Vy did). Then she'd either have to go down in flames (unfair for both her's and Mel's arcs) or somehow be turned or softened by someone else, like maybe some child who reminds her of her own daughter, but I still don't find that working since the only thing that softens her even a bit is Mel after all. The only positive side to that second one would be that it'd be an even more radical change within her than just purely exclusionary care for her own kin. Wow I sure do love yapping! I'm gonna shut up now!!
Before the explosion Jayce is positioned right next to Viktor meaning Viktor's hexcore limbs could instinctively protect both of them with some sort of shield. I don't think Mel needs to survive because her arc seemed complete with her choosing peace. In my opinion Mel dying would be both thematic and ironic because her death also signifies the death of peace in the region and because of her mother, her death is the cause of the war.
@@WicariWoW i think that may have just been an artistic decision? i agree that it would thematically make sense for mel to be dead. she decided to choose peace and got closure for why she was banished by her mother. In turn, her action of peace pushes her mother to an action of war. Not to mention ambessa is confirmed to be a new champion. why would she be a champion if it didnt mean ambessa would take on extreme importance to the war between zaun and piltover the same way mel did?
unfortunately i think ambessa taking on the golden aspect of mel in her design (especially in matching mel's golden stripe on her lip) may be indicative of a tribute of a dead loved one
Considering how they bamboozled us last time, it wouldn't surprise me if that Ambessa quote at the start is being addressed to the people of Piltover, and they used another take for the trailer. It also wouldn't surprise me they would be using the scenes out of order to mislead and make us think some beats of the story are going in one way while the total opposite. See how they also keep Victor and Jayce out of the trailer to make us wonder if they're dead or not, but considering we haven't had Blitzcrank yet, I'm 95% sure they're still alive. Also, Sevika is carrying Jinx's gun, which Silco tried to use to shoot Vi.

You're right, that is not Jinx, but this statue looks a lot like the white-haired chembaroness from sezon 1 ep 7 (around 16:17 minute). She has the same dots at her forehead and chin, and the nose strap
My working theory, based on this teaser, is that vi and caitlyn will "kill" jinx in the fist act making her a martyr. But, as jinx says at the end of season 1 and one of the tweets promoting the poster of season 2 highlights, nothing ever stays dead.
Victor is hidden in the trailer. You can see him at 0:57 of the trailer. Its a quick flash hidden behind the attack sevika makes against the chem baron, but you can see him casting some kind of magic. You can tell its him by the transformed arm and his distinct cane. :D
Something something something Jinx is now an image in Zaun, no longer just a person but immortalized. Put up on the walls by fans and critics alike. And she draws her life story on the pillars of a dilapidated church (?) with Janna's statue watching over. She too, has become mythology.
Mel is 100% alive. Ambessa says "YOU will have justice", not "WE will have justice" implying she doesn't need to have justice for Mel's death, because she's not dead.
Couple things i noticed, sevika is using jinx's pistol, to help enforce theyre working together now. And vi is wearing claggor's goggles now, i believe, so she took momentos from that final scene
4:44 you can see Jinx standing next to a child in the background of the fight with the Chembaron and Sevika, and at 4:55 you can see Viktor with his cane during the magical explosion
The shot of Vi, Caitlyn, Marcus Jr/Marcus wife and the other two dudes seems to take place in the firelight hideout Also I love that Ambessa is wearing a lioness mask because the name Ambessa means Lion
"your council is dead," could mean that the council isn't functional anymore, so we could assess that the people in that very room or at least some of them are still alive.
A couple of initial thoughts: Ambessa could be talking to Caitlyn. If she is, the red collar around Caitlyn's neck could be a way of conveying that she's under Noxus' control, literally on a leash. Additionally, the fact that the Noxus soldiers are standing infront of the Enforcers could mean that they've completely taken control of Piltover. With Vi, she seems to be standing in an alleyway in Zaun if the scratched up walls are anything to go by in the 'my sister is dead scene'. If thats the case she's almost definitely talking to Caitlyn or Ekko. If it's Caitlyn, she's probably lying, if it's Ekko probably not. Also note that Vi isn't present in the scene with the big Chem guy despite the rest of the strike team being there. That could mean that Vi left the squad to look for Jinx independently or she just flat out defected back to Zaun. Also, you're almost definitely right about the big fight scene between Vi and Jinx being during early to middle of the season. There's an image of Caitlyn going around where she's present in that place (not sure where it came from), but she's got a fresh cut on her lip. There's multiple scenes in the trailer here where Caitlyn has that cut but its healing, so the fight would have to take place early on enough for there still to be significant events going on. There's also a scene where the Enforcers seem to be walking into Stillwater with riot shields. This feels like it's either a new character like Urgot causing riots, or one of our current ones is going to get arrested. It's possible that it's actually Jinx who gets arrested and placed in Stillwater, maybe in that fight scene. If that's the case, the Enforcers are probably responding to her escaping. Also Vi's still having an identity crisis, always good to see :D
Zaun has ancient shuriman ruins under it, so that might be a ruin of an ancient temple dedicated to Janna...found ofc by Jinx where she she started drawing all over the place.
in french, it is the same as in english BUT instead of "my sister is gone", Vi bluntly says "my sister is dead". Which definitely means that she is not dead. I also interpreted that phrase as "powder is dead", not jinx.
@@Thanniah-T interesting, I also thought abt how they'll try to mislead us, for example in the trailers for s1 I notice they'll literally stitch together scenes and sentences that aren't even in the same place as in the actual show, like silco saying "as time passes, the topsiders are leaving us further and further behind" in the final trailer: 1) he doesn't even say "as time passes", and 2) they make it look like he says this at the meeting in ep7 when in the show he says it to jinx in ep4 😭 so for all we know vi might not even be talking abt her sister at all in that clip
I just googled Janna after some people mentioned her (never played LoL), and that Jinx' hideout is a Janna-temple. Love the mythology behind that character so much: "Armed with the power of Runeterra’s gales, Janna is a mysterious, elemental wind spirit who protects the dispossessed of Zaun. Some believe she was brought into existence by the pleas of Runeterra’s sailors who prayed for fair winds as they navigated treacherous waters and braved rough tempests. Her favor and protection has since been called into the depths of Zaun, where Janna has become a beacon of hope to those in need. No one knows where or when she will appear, but more often than not, she’s come to help." -> Would tie into Silco's obession with the creatures in the watery depths of the river, and literally baptising Jinx -> Would make sense that Riot used Janna as a metaphor to push Jinx' new stance amongst the Zaunites, with Jinx evolving from a person to a symbol,... just really heavy worldbuilding (if true) -> Jinx was also born because Zaun needed her. -> that last sentence is just also basically a description of how Jinx/Powder (used to) operate: Bursting out, out of nowhere, and always so eager to help ... :D
Janna was a Shuriman goddess and Zaun used to be part of the Shuriman empire. Her cult was outlawed before the collapse of the empire, but since Zaun doesn't have much breathable air, every time the wind blows the Zaunites remember her. That's why she is still revered in Zaun. It also serves as a metaphor for freedom. She's great.
i think there's a genuine possibility that Embessa isn't actually talking to neither Jayce nor Mel it could def be a call to action she's putting on Caitlyn when she returns to Piltover and is hesitant to go after jinx which is where i think vi's sentance "my sister is dead" comes in but it gets blown up waay out of proportion also 15:20 that's def shadow from Vex LUL XD

Yeah, people seem to generally be in agreement that that Vi and Jinx fight is an episode 3 thing. Either way, I’m interested in how exactly Jinx has convinced her to call her that. I feel like the council alone wouldn’t be enough, I’m worried about what else has happened. Maybe Vander would do it.
My thoughts are that Jinx paints her memories so she can remember, never forget why she is Jinx, why she has that anger inside. Her head is so confuse that she needs to externalize it so she can see it clearly.
A few things from the German Trailer. They say that "half of the council is dead" instead of "the council is dead". Same with Caitlyns mom. In German it's "we will avenge your mother", in English "you will have justice"
Oh I fully believe that Vi is capable of deluding herself into seeing Jinx as the monster that killed her sister. Piltover may have killed her parents, but that anger has nowhere to go. You can't punch an oppressive system. But Zaun stabbed her father in the back, killed her brothers, and then her sister chose his murderer over her. Zaun betrayed her. And she can make Zaun pay for it.
6:03 - is that pillared room… a temple to Janna?! If you look on the back wall it looks like there’s a carving/painting of a woman with long hair holding a staff?
Admittedly typing this before watching the whole analysis, but I'm confident this is just Act 1. This is all the immediate aftermath of Jinx's attack and it'll probably end with Jinx and Vi fighting. But reading another person's thoughts, I think it's quite likely that Cait attempts to shoot Jinx during this which will force Vi to save her because she's not going to let anyone kill Jinx which will prove to Jinx that Vi still cares about her which leads us to her being "possesive" as the poster suggests or alternatively the fight ends because of Warwick which ties them both together again. The shot after Sevika vs Chembaron, I'm fairly sure is Viktor. I'm guessing trying to help out Zaunites with his shimmer infused tech.
a small detail in 16:38, the first scene where Vi is jumping towards Jinx is not connected to the next shot, as their postures are different and Vi's punch is in the other hand, perhaps they are getting separated in the second shot?
If they were going to do a rug pull it could be that the rug pull is we think its a Piltovan-Zaunite civil war only for for that to be the first few episodes and the back half is Piltover and Zaun uniting to push Noxus out of their territory since they seem like they're coming in force and they don't really have allies just future conquests
I find it incredibly unlikely that Noxus would help Piltover, unless she isn’t helping them. I think her armor implies she could be planning an independent takeover of Zuan as vengeance.

The underside of their cloak also has red. I think this might be a scene of Viktor, probably trying to help the shimmer addicts we saw last season since the surroundings look similar. The purple light also is very indicative of the hexcore/void
I don’t think there’s any possibility of Jayce being dead because of Caitlyn’s hex rifle. Unless it had already been created there is nobody who could create it other than Viktor, but since his magician arc is confirmed I HIGHLY doubt he would
Jayce and Viktor had to have survived the end of season one because Kaitlyn has a Hex Tech rifle instead of a regular one and without Jayce and/or Viktor you can't have Hex Tech weapons
I think the scene after the "Sevika swing" with the electric flashes look like the place where the shimmer addicted were in season 1, and the person holding a staff somewhat resembles LOL Viktor, maybe with the glorious evolution he will help those people, and the blue-ish light there kind of implies the heimer scene too, probably Heimer is down there helping out, when he sees who did Viktor became. Total hypothesis territory here, looking forward for the breakdown!

7:30 about that, I actually think the trailer does show Viktor, but very briefly. At around 4:50 and again at 13:07, there's a short scene of an explosion of light and electricity (kinda like the lightning the hexcore gives off) originating from a figure. Next to the figure is something that looks *suspiciously* like the cane Viktor uses. And it's a little hard to tell, but from the top-down view to me it looks like the figure has dark hair. It's not exactly strong evidence, some little things I noticed, but I really hope that scene's the start of Viktor's Machine Herald era

12:19 I'm not sure about the context of this fight because Jinx is literally standing BEHIND the chembaron if you look at it closely. In my mind this implies that the Chembaron is fighting for Jinx? Although this could also be explained by the madness caused by Shimmer. There IS a shimmer colored thing next to her and another individual I can't seem to recognize. 13:10 This might be Viktor because I see the weird arm extension thing they made in Season one. The effects seem similar to the initial Hextech discovery too. This could also be exactly the context behind Heimerdinger's scene later on.
Vi saying "My sister is gone", the 'My' is almost inaudible and clipped--there could absolutely be content immediately before that. She could easily be saying "I cannot believe my sister is gone. I have to help her" or something along those lines. In fact them putting it in the trailer makes me think it's MORE likely that she's denying her sister's gone and not believing she is.
My guess is that The big battle between Vi and Jinx will be episode 5 or 6, with prior episodes building up to it partially along with other things, but then the final 3 episodes will be all about Piltover and Zaun as a whole, with most likely Viktor getting into his mech form etc.

when i saw the heaviliy armoured gold warrior it makes me think that mel might survive through both the intervention of her mother and jayce, possibly even victor. something like jayce seeing victors limbs after the explosion and blindly thinking they come with no consequence so asking him to save mel. mel thereby becoming the first of victors “perfect beings” and this fuelled by the hexcore leading to victors more cartoonish villain self we know and tolerate/ love

So here's what I expect the result of the Big F U Rocket to be:
- Jace is not dead (duh).

- Mel might be dead, but then I don't know who her mom is talking to. Maybe Jace?
- Cait's mom is dead, makes for nice family drama with Vi.
- Everyone else? So damn dead, Kindred didn't even get to see the corpses.

The only thing that makes me think that Caits mom isn't dead...maybe comatose... is cuz she and her husband get kidnapped by C and Cait saves them (in the game lore atleast)
i’m not sure if mel is dead, but my theory is that her mom is talking to caitlyn in those scenes. it’s similar to the way she talked to jayce in season 1, sparking violence in him!

Agreed on everything except Mel absolutely cannot be dead, not even a chance. There are way too many character arcs that would get blasted into nothing from that. I mean Mel's thing with her mother is very much unresolved, while her mother's main arc and conflict (her philosophy vs caring for her family) would basically cease to exist and her character would become a one note avenger with no chance for developement.
I'm thinking she's seriously injured, maybe in a coma, which would allow for her mom to go on her revenge quest without Mel affecting her judgement or decisions in any way. At some point she'd wake up and they'd have some form or confrontation about the methods her mother has been employing against Zaun's civilian population.
EDIT: I guess if they did kill Mel (which I still find extremely unlikely), I could only see it being used in a way where Embassa becomes a giant common threat to be taken down through some accidental/weird cooperation by Piltover and Zaun (since the only thing stopping her and making her give a shit about Piltover is gone) or by Jinx and Vi together (I think the two of them will take down wolfdude instead due to obvious thematic reasons, before facing one another, or wolfie interrupting their fight.)
Edit edit: (Actually no, Jinx didn't really have a connection to Vander like Vy did).
Then she'd either have to go down in flames (unfair for both her's and Mel's arcs) or somehow be turned or softened by someone else, like maybe some child who reminds her of her own daughter, but I still don't find that working since the only thing that softens her even a bit is Mel after all. The only positive side to that second one would be that it'd be an even more radical change within her than just purely exclusionary care for her own kin.

Before the explosion Jayce is positioned right next to Viktor meaning Viktor's hexcore limbs could instinctively protect both of them with some sort of shield. I don't think Mel needs to survive because her arc seemed complete with her choosing peace. In my opinion Mel dying would be both thematic and ironic because her death also signifies the death of peace in the region and because of her mother, her death is the cause of the war.
Makes sense but they also made a big deal about Mel's gold armor glowing as if she had Zhonyas hourglass.
@@WicariWoW i think that may have just been an artistic decision? i agree that it would thematically make sense for mel to be dead. she decided to choose peace and got closure for why she was banished by her mother. In turn, her action of peace pushes her mother to an action of war.
Not to mention ambessa is confirmed to be a new champion. why would she be a champion if it didnt mean ambessa would take on extreme importance to the war between zaun and piltover the same way mel did?

unfortunately i think ambessa taking on the golden aspect of mel in her design (especially in matching mel's golden stripe on her lip) may be indicative of a tribute of a dead loved one
Considering how they bamboozled us last time, it wouldn't surprise me if that Ambessa quote at the start is being addressed to the people of Piltover, and they used another take for the trailer. It also wouldn't surprise me they would be using the scenes out of order to mislead and make us think some beats of the story are going in one way while the total opposite.
See how they also keep Victor and Jayce out of the trailer to make us wonder if they're dead or not, but considering we haven't had Blitzcrank yet, I'm 95% sure they're still alive.
Also, Sevika is carrying Jinx's gun, which Silco tried to use to shoot Vi.

My working theory, based on this teaser, is that vi and caitlyn will "kill" jinx in the fist act making her a martyr. But, as jinx says at the end of season 1 and one of the tweets promoting the poster of season 2 highlights, nothing ever stays dead.
Victor is hidden in the trailer. You can see him at 0:57 of the trailer. Its a quick flash hidden behind the attack sevika makes against the chem baron, but you can see him casting some kind of magic. You can tell its him by the transformed arm and his distinct cane. :D

Couple things i noticed, sevika is using jinx's pistol, to help enforce theyre working together now. And vi is wearing claggor's goggles now, i believe, so she took momentos from that final scene

"your council is dead," could mean that the council isn't functional anymore, so we could assess that the people in that very room or at least some of them are still alive.

A couple of initial thoughts:
Ambessa could be talking to Caitlyn. If she is, the red collar around Caitlyn's neck could be a way of conveying that she's under Noxus' control, literally on a leash.
Additionally, the fact that the Noxus soldiers are standing infront of the Enforcers could mean that they've completely taken control of Piltover.
With Vi, she seems to be standing in an alleyway in Zaun if the scratched up walls are anything to go by in the 'my sister is dead scene'. If thats the case she's almost definitely talking to Caitlyn or Ekko. If it's Caitlyn, she's probably lying, if it's Ekko probably not.
Also note that Vi isn't present in the scene with the big Chem guy despite the rest of the strike team being there. That could mean that Vi left the squad to look for Jinx independently or she just flat out defected back to Zaun.
Also, you're almost definitely right about the big fight scene between Vi and Jinx being during early to middle of the season. There's an image of Caitlyn going around where she's present in that place (not sure where it came from), but she's got a fresh cut on her lip. There's multiple scenes in the trailer here where Caitlyn has that cut but its healing, so the fight would have to take place early on enough for there still to be significant events going on.
There's also a scene where the Enforcers seem to be walking into Stillwater with riot shields. This feels like it's either a new character like Urgot causing riots, or one of our current ones is going to get arrested.
It's possible that it's actually Jinx who gets arrested and placed in Stillwater, maybe in that fight scene. If that's the case, the Enforcers are probably responding to her escaping.
Also Vi's still having an identity crisis, always good to see :D
Zaun has ancient shuriman ruins under it, so that might be a ruin of an ancient temple dedicated to Janna...found ofc by Jinx where she she started drawing all over the place.

I just googled Janna after some people mentioned her (never played LoL), and that Jinx' hideout is a Janna-temple. Love the mythology behind that character so much:

-> Jinx was also born because Zaun needed her.
-> that last sentence is just also basically a description of how Jinx/Powder (used to) operate: Bursting out, out of nowhere, and always so eager to help ... :D
Janna was a Shuriman goddess and Zaun used to be part of the Shuriman empire. Her cult was outlawed before the collapse of the empire, but since Zaun doesn't have much breathable air, every time the wind blows the Zaunites remember her. That's why she is still revered in Zaun. It also serves as a metaphor for freedom. She's great.

My thoughts are that Jinx paints her memories so she can remember, never forget why she is Jinx, why she has that anger inside. Her head is so confuse that she needs to externalize it so she can see it clearly.

A few things from the German Trailer. They say that "half of the council is dead" instead of "the council is dead". Same with Caitlyns mom. In German it's "we will avenge your mother", in English "you will have justice"

Piltover may have killed her parents, but that anger has nowhere to go. You can't punch an oppressive system. But Zaun stabbed her father in the back, killed her brothers, and then her sister chose his murderer over her. Zaun betrayed her. And she can make Zaun pay for it.

Admittedly typing this before watching the whole analysis, but I'm confident this is just Act 1. This is all the immediate aftermath of Jinx's attack and it'll probably end with Jinx and Vi fighting.
But reading another person's thoughts, I think it's quite likely that Cait attempts to shoot Jinx during this which will force Vi to save her because she's not going to let anyone kill Jinx which will prove to Jinx that Vi still cares about her which leads us to her being "possesive" as the poster suggests or alternatively the fight ends because of Warwick which ties them both together again.
The shot after Sevika vs Chembaron, I'm fairly sure is Viktor. I'm guessing trying to help out Zaunites with his shimmer infused tech.
a small detail in 16:38, the first scene where Vi is jumping towards Jinx is not connected to the next shot, as their postures are different and Vi's punch is in the other hand, perhaps they are getting separated in the second shot?

Jayce and Viktor had to have survived the end of season one because Kaitlyn has a Hex Tech rifle instead of a regular one and without Jayce and/or Viktor you can't have Hex Tech weapons

I think the scene after the "Sevika swing" with the electric flashes look like the place where the shimmer addicted were in season 1, and the person holding a staff somewhat resembles LOL Viktor, maybe with the glorious evolution he will help those people, and the blue-ish light there kind of implies the heimer scene too, probably Heimer is down there helping out, when he sees who did Viktor became.

7:30 about that, I actually think the trailer does show Viktor, but very briefly. At around 4:50 and again at 13:07, there's a short scene of an explosion of light and electricity (kinda like the lightning the hexcore gives off) originating from a figure. Next to the figure is something that looks *suspiciously* like the cane Viktor uses. And it's a little hard to tell, but from the top-down view to me it looks like the figure has dark hair. It's not exactly strong evidence, some little things I noticed, but I really hope that scene's the start of Viktor's Machine Herald era

Vi saying "My sister is gone", the 'My' is almost inaudible and clipped--there could absolutely be content immediately before that. She could easily be saying "I cannot believe my sister is gone. I have to help her" or something along those lines. In fact them putting it in the trailer makes me think it's MORE likely that she's denying her sister's gone and not believing she is.

My guess is that The big battle between Vi and Jinx will be episode 5 or 6, with prior episodes building up to it partially along with other things, but then the final 3 episodes will be all about Piltover and Zaun as a whole, with most likely Viktor getting into his mech form etc.

when i saw the heaviliy armoured gold warrior it makes me think that mel might survive through both the intervention of her mother and jayce, possibly even victor. something like jayce seeing victors limbs after the explosion and blindly thinking they come with no consequence so asking him to save mel. mel thereby becoming the first of victors “perfect beings” and this fuelled by the hexcore leading to victors more cartoonish villain self we know and tolerate/ love
i know it’s probably embessa but the more aged skin could be scarring and the hair doesn’t have that noticeable white parts.
