I don't know if you will read this Mr. Zonder, but I just wanted to say for over the last 40+ years your musicianship has been and continues to be a huge inspiration to me . Cheers to you.
Terry said it best...as a producer and man behind the mixing board ...his praises rest with me....he spoke incredibly highly of Mark.... literally...in every sense ..
I love that wave before the drums come in! Mark, you are so farking cool! A true Phenomenal gift straight from the Heavenly Realm is most certainly what Mark Zonder means to me! Your name has a meaning... so many meanings! I'm blessed to be able to work with you! Legit! 🤟
I guess that might be a gig in Athens, Greece. Still hate myself for missing that. But my brothers did a very good job. Cheering, screaming out loud during the whole show. Warlord, The only band I never watched live.... R. I. P. Bill Tsamis
Honest question: Even being a high level professional drummer, do you still feel nervous at the beginning of a gig? I'd imagine the adrenaline runs strong, how about concerns / fears of messing it up? Always a huge fan of yours Mark, excellent as always and I can't wait for the AtoZ with Alder.
its funny you say that every gig i have done i have been very nervous but found buying more symbols to cover me i found less nervous . once i did mess up big time as i leaned back on my stool not realizing the window was open on the 2nd floor i fell out of it breaking my colar bone could of been worse could of been my neck . but it did give us more publicity drummer falls out of window from 2nd floor causing injury lol
Yep. No doubt. Probably go to the bathroom 5 times. Absolutely nervous from the unknown that is about to happen. But, there is another side that I draw on to calm knowing that I am ready and that I love the music and the band. But yes, to answer your question.
@@markzonder3771I'm late to Warlord. Only just listened to the new album and one thing that stands apart from any other metal band are the drums! Absolutely incredible work!
@@andrewredfern8304 thanks. Do you know of the other work that I have done? Fates Warning, A-Z amongst others? Also if you have only listened to the new record, go back and listen to Deliver Us. It is an $800 recording in 1983. But it really set the tone. Appreciate the nice words.

This performance was recorded on Keep It True XVI in 2013.
Warlord will be in Greece toward the end of Aug 2024.
