I stopped playing sax in a swing band two years ago. I have decided to start playing again. My skill loss is frightening. I now want to do my heartfelt music blues. Wish me luck all, I know practice is the key lol.
Perhaps your sax skills will come back to you faster than you think, Terry - I hope that's the case. I do wish you well. Yes, practice is the key. One bit of advice: try to play everyday, if even for a couple of minutes. Better to play one minute every day than to play one hour once a week. Good luck!

DR.Sax Love-i gave this another listen and loved it even more! had a musical snob of a friend over and she got so jazzed by the music, she started cleaning house! however-a well-intentioned critique here-i imagine it's Paul on harp,but what about the organist,the bass player,the drummer, the guitarist? they all play superbly with a great touch,and the balance of the engineering is just right. who are these people? everyone involved deserves a high five.

Blues, Sax, Harmonica, it sounds pretty cool!! Always glad to hear some good music. I used to play the Harmonica, had learned all by myself, but at some point I got frustrated and quit playing. Now I think it's time to grab the Marine Band and try some blues again.

DR.Sax Love-i gave this another listen and loved it even more! had a musical snob of a friend over and she got so jazzed by the music, she started cleaning house! however-a well-intentioned critique here-i imagine it's Paul on harp,but what about the organist,the bass player,the drummer, the guitarist? they all play superbly with a great touch,and the balance of the engineering is just right. who are these people? everyone involved deserves a high five.
