Join me on a rather overcast Saturday in January 2024 for about fifteen minutes as I fly around the Cator Lane area of Chilwell, in Nottinghamshire. My post-edited aerial footage involved my DJI Mini 3 Pro drone being launched from several sites to satisfy the Civil Aviation Authorities (CAA) line-of-sight drone legislation. Hopefully, the final edit looks seamless considering the varying launch locations.
I'm a qualified drone pilot and have been registered with the CAA since 2019. My current operator’s licence is valid until 2027. I also hold various insurances, including public indemnity insurance (up to £1,000,000) that covers me whilst I am flying my drone and undertaking other drone-related photographic activities.
