Saw this movie last night and absolutely loved it! Not your typical cliche vampire flick, which I loved. I feel like the end reveal was a cheeky play on Downton Abbey, if you catch my drift lol
Watched it yesterday and overall it was good. This is coming from a guy that liked their prevous films like Ready of Not. Will admit, it's not as horror as it make it out to be. You can tell it was done by the same people for the "explosion". Will admit there was one glaring plothole but will not mention it for spoilers reasons.
Abigail was very good and entertaining, I enjoyed it greatly, but unfortunately the overall box office is terrible. Looking at the overall reviews of critics and fans, most enjoyed it, but overall interest ain’t there.
Probably because of the comedy, I liked it but I would've rather seen a straight up horror movie with very little comedy...the comedy so predictable and cliche
I was lucky enough to see the premier last night. The amount of blood in this film was such a treat. Gave me Evil Dead vibes on how exaggerated & comedic the use of blood could be, but man did the audience "chewed it up". Definitely worth a watch in theaters to see those teeth up close

Great review, man! And I’m right there with you on the pacing issues. I liked this one, but didn’t quite love it. I wanted it to lean into the fun, quick energy I saw in the trailer a bit more, but hey-the audience at the screening was applauding and cheering, so they’ve definitely got something here.

Totally agree on the ending. That part wasn't necessary and would've been better without seeing it, but definitely doesn't take too much away.

I was so disappointed in this movie. The pace throughout was way too slow. It should have been at least 30 minutes shorter.
