I am definitely excited to see where Scream 7 goes with Neve Campbell and I will definitely check out Abigail when I get the chance. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Matt and Tyler end up working with Neve again. She has praised them and I'm sure she would love to work with them again. But it won't be horror. Outside of Scream Neve won't touch horror.

Also, say back to black last Friday, and was surprised it has released 5 weeks earlier in the uk, and isn't out in the U.S until May 17th.

Glad you guys touched on the topic of Cavill's bankability. I had the same thoughts recently, seeing all the Ministry press materials pop up.
I like the guy and want him to do well, but he's become one of those guys who's famous for being famous. People think of him as a movie star because he looks like one and they tell you he is one, but if he's not Superman, nobody seems to care.
I can't speak to The Witcher as I haven't seen any of it, but if we keep it strictly to films then I think a large part of his problem is that he doesn't seem to really have an eye for good material. I don't know if it's just the stuff he's being offered and making the best out of that, but on paper none of these films he's done were ever going to be particularly successful.
Just going back to Ministry, to illustrate what I mean: I've said I like the guy and I also like Guy Ritchie well enough (I'm actually a Revolver defender). I also generally like WW2 films, if they're done well. So I should be in the tank for this film, and yet I have no interest in ever seeing it. Why? Well because I'm a stickler for historical accuracy in my historical fiction - I want the topic handled with respect - and Ministry just looks like a cartoon; I don't buy any of it. I think this could be the case with other people who would have otherwise been interested in seeing it also. This type of topic is normally going to attract older audiences who want the topic handled seriously - and the film is nominally based on a non-fiction book - and I think you alienate that audience by taking this approach. It just looks like a b-grade version of Inglorious Basterds (another film I am not a fan of, but with that one I at least understand why it was a hit).
It's decisions like these that undo him. Similar thing happened with The Man from UNCLE (another Ritchie film). That one was fairly decent but he was just miscast in that role.
Now having said all that, I am genuinely excited what he does with Highlander. That, on paper - and if done well - could end up being something. I think he's actually well cast in the role but the bigger factor is Chad Stahelski directing. If Stahelski can do for Cavill as Connor MacLeod anything like what he did for Keanu as John Wick then we might get something great.
