All of a sudden it's 1985 and I'm at a back yard party in Nowalk California... disco bunnies everywhere, lowered trucks out front, 2 kegs in back, and me and Joe B. And TC walking through the clove cigarette haze. And just when it's on, the ghetto bird breaks it up. So long TC... we still roll together in my memory.

Back in the early 80's the disco's we would go to in Hollywood would save this song for the end of the night..and then the adrenalin kick in again. Those were some "Kick Ass" times! Still get the vibe at 70!!!

This is a phantastic song. In it's simplicity it is still perfectly arranged and as enjoyable in 2018 as it was in 1783 when first published by Johann Sebastian Bach.

Me pase AÑOS buscando este Melodia, mi papa tenia su disco de "Electronica 80's" y lo ponia cuando era niño, estuve mucho tiempo tratando de encontrar esta que era mi favorita y hasta el dia de hoy lo encuentro, un dia historico en mi vida JAJA
This is one of the songs I use to test headphones. The layering is intense and will wash out a shitty pair of headphones or ear buds. I remember testing a "high end" brand of head phones and you couldn't even hear the vocals. It sounded like someone was singing from the end of a 100ft hallway.
The highs are crisp and the medium and low frequencies fill out those bandldwidths quite well.
My £30-40 Sony headphones do a fair job with this. I don't use any other brand.

My mother back in the early 80s back in Mexico she used too go to the clubs and they would always always blast theses types of songs, I could only imagine how it was back then! So magical especially music like this! Ugh too be a teenager through the 80s

The '50s, 60s and 80's were the 3 'futuristic' decades of the 1900's. The 'future' was realized decades ago. '90s-the present is the permanent situation of creativity being gone permanently. It's not going to suddenly somehow come back at this late date now.

It's because electronic music and recording technology was still moving forward. Sampling was the last big musical development. The 1980s saw digital audio, CD, polyphonic synths, digital synths, sampling and so on. No other decade since has given us anything like that.
