Registered in March 1973, this Ford Capri 3000 GXL - one of the most desirable of the MkI Capri variants - has been in the ownership of the current registered keeper since 1981. However, it has been in long-term storage since 1990, in an integral garage. The odometer shows 2132 miles, although there is no paperwork to confirm this mileage. Four registered keepers are recorded overall. The Capri comes with an old style 1980s-style V5 only.

It's just a Ford, Granted the 3 Litre had some grunt but handled like a turd and other than that capris were so boring, just like a curvey Cortina, I think too many people have been brainwashed by the hype Forare overpriced and will drop like a stone in a couple of years

They won’t drop like a stone, a classic Ford will always command a premium because of the nostalgia it provokes in so many people. Haven’t a clue what this particular car will make, it’s no reserve, but it would make a great project for someone who is prepared to invest time and money into it and then just enjoy it. The handling and performance is mostly irrelevant. Add together the purchase price and restoration cost, and this could easily be at the same outlay as a new tesla, but i know what I’d prefer to drive, and in another 10 years when the tesla is worth as much as a used iPhone , this capri will still be desirable.
