Gengar's name comes from the word "Doppelgänger" which basically is the double of a living person. What if Gengar is actually the evil double of Clefable ?
There's an interesting theory that Dreepy is actually the ghost of Anorith. While the two 'mons may share a few subtle design similarities, the real interesting part is its Sword dex entry: "After being reborn as a ghost Pokémon, Dreepy wanders the areas it used to inhabit back when it was alive in prehistoric seas."
The story of Charmander and Cubone is much sadder actually. When a baby charmander is born, the charizard mother blows the flame on it's tail and teaches it to keep it on, but alot of the times the mother dies protecting her kids. The babies born from this situation never had the flame from their mother so sadly they take the only thing they can remember their mother from which is the skull and grow up ona different evolutionary path. Poachers and trainers are all responsible for mothers not being there, it's the fad to "catch them all" but noone thinks what that pokemon are actually leaving when you force them into a small ball to be used as a battle slave for your own entertainment and goals.
Theory: I think that the tiny and big mushrooms you find in the pokemon games, are actually the mushrooms from Paras' and Parasect's backs :) They shed them once in a while and grow back new ones to replenish the spores inside.
Mew and ditto are almost canonically related to each other: ditto is the first failed experiment of creating a mewtwo and since it has DNA from mew it could breed with every other pokemon to become an effective species. And also in every location there is or there has been mewtwo, and so it means the DNA of mew too, has a chance to find ditto as a wild Pokémon, expect obviously the ultra warps in USUM

The Horses theory is awsome. The 1st gen mons, i feel like it was to be "easy", for not call it lazy, to create the 1st games... so they re-used some siluetes. Like the cries...
I feel like if originally caterpie evolved into venomoth and venonat evolved into butterfree, people would eventually either want the names swapped or the Pokemon swapped

Also, the theory doesn't state that Metapod was originally going to evolve into Venomoth and that Venonat was going to evolve into Butterfree, but that the sprites(aka the designs) for Venomoth and Butterfree werw swapped at some point in development. So, Metapod would still evolve into Butterfree, just with Venomoth's design. Also Venomoth is just a mistranslation. Its Japanese name is Morphon, which comes from Morpho butterflies. And even if this wasn't the case, caterpillars turn into both moths and butterflies.
Here's a mind bender: what if when Slowpoke evolves into Slowbro, it's not the Slowpoke that evolves, but the Shelder that bit its tail? We all know the Slowpoke evolution method, but when you look at the two, the Slowpoke itself doesn't change much. Meanwhile, the Shelder on its tail changes drastically. My personal theory is that when a Shelder bites the tail of a Slowpoke, the nutrients in the tail trigger its evolution, and since the Slowpoke is attached to it, it appears to evolve. This theory is backed up by the fact that there are pokedex entries that state if Shelder lets go of the tail, Slowbro "reverts" back into Slowpoke. As for Slowking, it's the same concept, except instead of the tail, it's the special properties of the King's Rock that Slowpoke needs to hold in order to evolve that makes the Shelder evolve. I feel like this is kinda obvious, but I still felt like sharing
AZ's ultimate weapon was the cause of Galar's darkest day. The weapon hitting an area now called the Great Basin awoke the nearby dormant Eternatus (who's crater is on Route 7). So much excess infinity energy in the area caused many pokemon to evolve unnaturally/prematurely (this affect still lingers in the area to this day) including a Toxel along the nearby Route 7. This prematurely evolved Toxtricity was easily influenced by the newly awoken and juiced-up Eternamax Eternatus. Becoming Gigantimax Toxtricity with the mental capacity of a raging toddler, the two rampaged across Galar and caused massive destruction. That is until Zacian and Zamazenta showed up and separated Eternatus from Toxtricity. The sword and the sheild defended Galar from the alien threat while Gigantimax Toxtricity attacked Hulbury. The prematurely evolved Toxrticity was then confronted by it's parents, an Amped form and a Low Key form Toxtricity. They managed to calm their baby and Hulbury remembered them as heroes. All the while, Zacian and Zamazenta defeated Eternatus below Hammerlocke castle and Eturnatus had to create a protective shell around itself (later misidentified as an egg) until it could regain it's strength.
The rapidash one sounds right to me. If you think about it, it seems weird the player would choose which one was his steed, but that theory of them both being on galarian rapidash that froze to death makes sense to me.
Definitely explains the similarities between Galarian Rapidash and the two legendary horses and it's definitely a dark theory but it's happended before in Pokemon so I'm not surprised
I got one. What if trade evolutions occur because of genetic mutations. Some examples that best fit this theory are -Machamp gets 2 extra arms, a common trope of mutations -Magmortar and Electevire look completely different and fuse with machinery -And Scizor and Steelix somehow get metal overcased their bodies snd survive
I like to think that when a Kangaskhan dies and leaves the baby behind, the baby Kangaskhan takes the skull and becomes a completely new pokemon, Cubone. It loses the ability to grow into an adult Kangaskhan and becomes Marowak instead.
The Artist Arvelis, actually touched on the idea of Mew, Mewtwo, and Ditto, Actually all being from the same line, namely that After Mewtwo had broken free, and destroyed cinnabar, that all the extra clones being produced had no way to be kept alive, or stabilized. As a result rather than die out, they adapted, but because their structure was unstable they turned into what is now known as Ditto, and cling to existing Pokémon, in hopes of finding a stable host, to replicate. So far the stability has yet to take hold at all.
My friend Chris suggested that the Kalos War and the Unova War was fought against each other. My expansion on this is they were once one region that were separated by Regigigas
Although I could see the butterfree venomoth connection with caterpie being based off of a butterfly larvae the tiger swallowtail specifically i believe and metapod being a chrysalis not a cacoon them evolving into a moth doesn't make as much sense Then again a gnat evolving into a moth also doesn't make much sense so I guess it just depends on your preference
More evidence towards the Ditto being a failed clone of Mew theory is the fact that in Gen 1 Ditto is found in the Cinnabar Mansion on the bottom floor, where you find the diaries detailing the story of Mewtwo
A theory I've heard about was Gastly and Haunter are actually possessing pokeballs and thats why there are Voltorb and Electrode and apparently they have very similar eyes.
I have my own conspiracy theories about the Crown Tundra... I can see how people would think that Spectrier could be a Rapidash's ghost but I cant say the same for Glastrier... So when I think of other horse pokemon that are suitable for the idea I think Mudsdale would make a lot more sense, Mudsdale is a lot stronger as a physical attacker and much slower than rapidash which is represented in Glastriers stat spread and they have a simular body shape, also frozen ground is just very thick ice. I also have a theory about the Galarian legendary birds, the idea has to do with the tree, the fruits on the tree are bestowed with some energy unique to them, and I think that the Galarian birds were originally like their kantonian counterparts and changed their typing and appearance after eating fruits from that tree and gaining access to said energy, which made them stronger and more aggressive then the original trio, that is represented in their new typings and their movepools, as they all learn set up moves unique to their new types, Moltres has Nasty plot to make up for its lower attacking stat
Given how easily Flareon and Vaporeon could have escaped (being Fire and Water type respectively), I personally think it was actually three Eevee that died in the Brass Tower fire. Part of Entei, Raikou, and Suicune’s spirit was then passed down by Ho-Oh to future generations of Eevee, allowing them to evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon

I first thought the pokémon who were revived by ho-oh were the beta pokémon Rai, Sui and En but I didn't knew that the hidden abilities of the legendary beasts in gen 5 were similar to the eeveelutions so I am really confused now which were the pokémon
I remember reading about a theory that psyduck and golduck's names were swapped since it would make sense that the yellow ish gold coloured one was called golducks not psyduck. May have been changes due to psyduck headaches.
What if the legendary dogs ( Entei, Raiku, and Suicune) are not the eeveelutions but actully a hounder, bolthound and a water type dog we haven't seen yet. Ive had this theory for a while but was never able to share it to the world, it would be awsome if it made it the next video.
My favorite Pokémon theory is one I don’t believe and is very far out there but I think it’s interesting to think about which is about Mimikyu and Porygon being the same Pokémon. I only remember two pieces of evidence that support that which were one, it is said that whatever is under the costume is said to cause people to get sick and die relate to the episode Porygon was featured in that’s infamous for giving a lot of viewers seizures. The second reason is it’s hatred for Pikachu is for the same reason, the episode because Pikachu was the reason for the seizures and since Porygons episode was removed from public viewing and he wants the same Recognition as Pikachu, he hates him but still wants the attention that Pikachu made him lose after his one and only episode that Porygon was featured in.
i think one conspiracy is the chansy evolves to blissey and blissy evolves to kangaskon because when blissey evolve the egg hatches and has the baby that kangaskan has.
I’ve got a theory about Sandygast and Palosand, they are the ghost types of Swalot and Gulpin, Sandygasts mouth looks like the same shape as Gulpins when he opens his mouth, and size wise they’re pretty similar.
The original drawings of Flareon/Jolteon/Vaporeon were likely the inspiration for the Legendary Beasts so I believe that one technically has even more lore to support that the Eeveelutions became them. As for the Rapidash theory...it sounds cool but they are horses so they are going to look similar anyway.
I literally just got down reading the Rapidash theory a few minutes before this video popped up & yesterday at work we were talking about quite different theories about Pokémon & the Mew & Ditto happened to b one of them that we were explaining to a guy who hasn't played Pokémon since Gen 2 or at least the Gen 2 remakes
There was once a legend in Japan that states a carp was trying to swim up a waterfall and failed so he keep trying and trying and trying eventually his efforts payed off and a fairy came along and turned him into a mighty GOLDEN dragon this would exsplane a magicarp to dragonite evolution
Magikarp's Evolution is all about a old Japanese legend where a Karp fish (Which is what a Magikarp is based on) goes through a waterfall that has a magical Door like thing and when the Karp fish reaches to the top and goes through that Pillar tower(I Don't Know), It turns into a dragon.
There's one detail about suicune originally being a vaporeon that people tend to overlook. I believe that Suicune was originally a shiny eevee. I say that because shiny eevee matches the hair color of regular suicune and regular eevee matches the hair color of shiny suicune.
Shiny eevee is more white-ish while shiny suicune is more light blue-ish. If shiny suicune was similar to eevee it should be brown while shiny eevee whould be light blue.
Also the building in the town where the 3 dogs come from you battle the 5 girls with the 5 eevees, maybe 3 escaped and traveled next door and died in the burning tower.
I was so happy just to see the thumbnail, in one of Gengar Clefairy theory (sadly it is said that gengar is human)* Gen 8. I really thought that the Beasts vs Eevee-utions was real over time I think not so much (but we don’t have any other place holders if it’s NOT EEVEE.)
There is 2 I like, one is on reddit and is called it all leads back to kalos, and explains about how the ultimate weapon and the darkest day are linked/ the same event, and there was another one about the idea that the the delta episode of oras happened in the original Ruby and sapphire, except that in that universe they didn't have megas, so they went with the first plan of using the meteorite energy to send the asteroid with deoxys in to another dimension, which caused the disruption in the red / blue rescue team Mystery dungeon universe, as you need rayquaza to destroy the falling star and there is a confused af deoxys left behind in the largest shard of the falling star that hit the ground
the magikarp to dragonite would also make more sense for magikarp"s inspiration. The myth in short, is about a carp that swam up against a water fall and became a dragon. (or something like that)
What I’ve always wondered about the 3 beast theory is how the hell did flare on die. You want to tell me a fire type couldn’t handle the fire long enough to get out?
What if Calyrex not only lost his horse...but his queen too. Maybe both Calyrex and his queen had one horse, Calyrex having whichever horse you picked and his queen having the other. The reason Calyrex lost his powers is because the queen pokemon died and her steed with her. Then the other steed left thinking Calyrex was too weak. Then his steed lost power and gained a broken, lost form. That explains why the books in the mayors house say some people thought the steed was white or black and the queen pokemon faded from history. Calyrex was too heartbroken to talk about it. It's just a theory tho
I feel like Ditto has to have some connection to Mew. Obviously we know scientists spent a lot of time trying to clone Mew’s DNA, and it’s very unlikely that they got Mewtwo the first time. Experiments like that will have many “flops” before success is reached. I don’t think it is too much of a stretch that Dittos were created though these failed experiments and were either released, discarded as trash, or escaped a testing facility.
I have one I think that the water stone is really a slowbroite This is because when a shelder bites the tail of a slowpoke it evolves in slowbro Then when you use a water stone on the shelder it evolves, eating the rest of the slowbro or making it mega

In the pixelmon mod if you put a Mew in the cloning machine you can get dittos from it before Mewtwo but once it clones into a Mewtwo the machine breaks
A theory i have had in mind for a long time. Tell me a ice tipe baby pokemon with long blonde hair and a big mouth who evolves in a feminine pokemon with purple skin and wears a red (pink if shiny) fabric drape. Whether you answered Smoochum and Jynx or Snorunt and Froslass, you are right. What if Froslass is a regional form of Jynx that changed so much to become its own species just as it happens IRL?

Why do all Pokemon, apart from Mew lay eggs? My theory is it's an evolved trait shared by all Pokemon (bar Mew) because its easier to protect eggs than it is protecting a pregnant Pokemon, it also evolved due to their constant potential to be in a battle. Humans in this world give birth, a trait shared with Mew, so using that as a theory we can say that there is an undiscovered missing link between Pokemon and humans. Something that links all monkey Pokemon and humans.
My theory is that the rhyhorn in Pokémon legends has became an ice type! Not only does its body look a tiny bit off its a very icy blue! People keep telling me that it's just a normal rhyhorn with lighting on it but there's no amount of lighting to make a gray that kind of blue! Also People have been telling me that since Pokémon legends is based on the sinnoh region it's legit impossible to have a sinnohian rhyhorn because we haven't had one before! All I have to say is that of course we haven't had one! That's why we are getting it now because it takes place way back in the creation of sinnoh!

No I dont buy about the noble steeds being a Galarian Rapidash, the horn on Glastrier is not in the same spot, the ears on Galarian Rapidash point outward while Galstriers ears point forward, and the tails dont match at all, for Spectriers the horn is completely gone and the ears are together coming out from the middle of the head, the feet match but again the tail doesn't match at all, here is my theory....Gamefreak and Creatures Inc decided to cut corners and use Galarian Rapidash as the base model and just made a few tweaks and changes....mind blown 🤯
Wasn't it confirmed that the Mew/Ditto theory was incorrect? I recall that being mentioned and that sucks because I wish we had more mythical pokemon tied to normal pokemon. Diance being a mutated Carbink or Darkrai's connection to Cresselia. I don't recall others off the top of my head, but I do like when they do stuff like that.
I believe the ditto theory and the salamence and flygon theory, and also the venonat/butterfree theory but personally dont believe cubone is related to charizard but i can see its relation to kangaskhan, However one evolution i never understood is why remoraid evolves into octillery but no mantine
I have something to add to the beast trio If I remember right there was an episode of pokemon that explained how they became those beasts and the silhouettes look similar aswell. (think you only see flareon silhouette can't remember off hand)... I do have a odd theory. That shellder is gastly that is in a shell. everytime I see shellder and cloyster I see the black mass in it as gastly ever since I was young I had that in my mind like how would a gastly even get in the shell.
Mewtwo can't transform because it was the transforming ability making it unstable so the scientists removed that section of DNA, I think that part of its DNA became Ditto.
7:59 it isn't possible: there's just one horse per time line. If the player choses glastrier this negates the existence of spectrier and viceversa. And if you say "but calyrex talks about he had 2 loyal allies" those are zacian and zamazenta, not the horses (in fact, the pokedex says it saved an entire forest from a meteor: where do you find the illusions of zacian and zamazenta in the early game? Exactly, in the slumbering weald a forest is said "came out of nowhere" so the rspidash theory is completely wrong IMO)

Gyarados is based of an old Japanese myth that when a koi fish/ carp swims up a waterfall, it will transform into a dragon when reaching the top

All the while, Zacian and Zamazenta defeated Eternatus below Hammerlocke castle and Eturnatus had to create a protective shell around itself (later misidentified as an egg) until it could regain it's strength.

The rapidash one sounds right to me. If you think about it, it seems weird the player would choose which one was his steed, but that theory of them both being on galarian rapidash that froze to death makes sense to me.
Definitely explains the similarities between Galarian Rapidash and the two legendary horses and it's definitely a dark theory but it's happended before in Pokemon so I'm not surprised

Some examples that best fit this theory are
-Machamp gets 2 extra arms, a common trope of mutations
-Magmortar and Electevire look completely different and fuse with machinery
-And Scizor and Steelix somehow get metal overcased their bodies snd survive
I like to think that when a Kangaskhan dies and leaves the baby behind, the baby Kangaskhan takes the skull and becomes a completely new pokemon, Cubone. It loses the ability to grow into an adult Kangaskhan and becomes Marowak instead.

The Artist Arvelis, actually touched on the idea of Mew, Mewtwo, and Ditto, Actually all being from the same line, namely that After Mewtwo had broken free, and destroyed cinnabar, that all the extra clones being produced had no way to be kept alive, or stabilized. As a result rather than die out, they adapted, but because their structure was unstable they turned into what is now known as Ditto, and cling to existing Pokémon, in hopes of finding a stable host, to replicate. So far the stability has yet to take hold at all.

Although I could see the butterfree venomoth connection with caterpie being based off of a butterfly larvae the tiger swallowtail specifically i believe and metapod being a chrysalis not a cacoon them evolving into a moth doesn't make as much sense

More evidence towards the Ditto being a failed clone of Mew theory is the fact that in Gen 1 Ditto is found in the Cinnabar Mansion on the bottom floor, where you find the diaries detailing the story of Mewtwo

A theory I've heard about was Gastly and Haunter are actually possessing pokeballs and thats why there are Voltorb and Electrode and apparently they have very similar eyes.
I have my own conspiracy theories about the Crown Tundra... I can see how people would think that Spectrier could be a Rapidash's ghost but I cant say the same for Glastrier... So when I think of other horse pokemon that are suitable for the idea I think Mudsdale would make a lot more sense, Mudsdale is a lot stronger as a physical attacker and much slower than rapidash which is represented in Glastriers stat spread and they have a simular body shape, also frozen ground is just very thick ice.
I also have a theory about the Galarian legendary birds, the idea has to do with the tree, the fruits on the tree are bestowed with some energy unique to them, and I think that the Galarian birds were originally like their kantonian counterparts and changed their typing and appearance after eating fruits from that tree and gaining access to said energy, which made them stronger and more aggressive then the original trio, that is represented in their new typings and their movepools, as they all learn set up moves unique to their new types, Moltres has Nasty plot to make up for its lower attacking stat
Given how easily Flareon and Vaporeon could have escaped (being Fire and Water type respectively), I personally think it was actually three Eevee that died in the Brass Tower fire. Part of Entei, Raikou, and Suicune’s spirit was then passed down by Ho-Oh to future generations of Eevee, allowing them to evolve into Flareon, Jolteon, and Vaporeon

What if the legendary dogs ( Entei, Raiku, and Suicune) are not the eeveelutions but actully a hounder, bolthound and a water type dog we haven't seen yet.

My favorite Pokémon theory is one I don’t believe and is very far out there but I think it’s interesting to think about which is about Mimikyu and Porygon being the same Pokémon. I only remember two pieces of evidence that support that which were one, it is said that whatever is under the costume is said to cause people to get sick and die relate to the episode Porygon was featured in that’s infamous for giving a lot of viewers seizures. The second reason is it’s hatred for Pikachu is for the same reason, the episode because Pikachu was the reason for the seizures and since Porygons episode was removed from public viewing and he wants the same Recognition as Pikachu, he hates him but still wants the attention that Pikachu made him lose after his one and only episode that Porygon was featured in.
i think one conspiracy is the chansy evolves to blissey and blissy evolves to kangaskon because when blissey evolve the egg hatches and has the baby that kangaskan has.

I’ve got a theory about Sandygast and Palosand, they are the ghost types of Swalot and Gulpin, Sandygasts mouth looks like the same shape as Gulpins when he opens his mouth, and size wise they’re pretty similar.
The original drawings of Flareon/Jolteon/Vaporeon were likely the inspiration for the Legendary Beasts so I believe that one technically has even more lore to support that the Eeveelutions became them. As for the Rapidash theory...it sounds cool but they are horses so they are going to look similar anyway.
I literally just got down reading the Rapidash theory a few minutes before this video popped up & yesterday at work we were talking about quite different theories about Pokémon & the Mew & Ditto happened to b one of them that we were explaining to a guy who hasn't played Pokémon since Gen 2 or at least the Gen 2 remakes

There was once a legend in Japan that states a carp was trying to swim up a waterfall and failed so he keep trying and trying and trying eventually his efforts payed off and a fairy came along and turned him into a mighty GOLDEN dragon this would exsplane a magicarp to dragonite evolution
Magikarp's Evolution is all about a old Japanese legend where a Karp fish (Which is what a Magikarp is based on) goes through a waterfall that has a magical Door like thing and when the Karp fish reaches to the top and goes through that Pillar tower(I Don't Know), It turns into a dragon.
There's one detail about suicune originally being a vaporeon that people tend to overlook. I believe that Suicune was originally a shiny eevee. I say that because shiny eevee matches the hair color of regular suicune and regular eevee matches the hair color of shiny suicune.
Shiny eevee is more white-ish while shiny suicune is more light blue-ish. If shiny suicune was similar to eevee it should be brown while shiny eevee whould be light blue.
Also the building in the town where the 3 dogs come from you battle the 5 girls with the 5 eevees, maybe 3 escaped and traveled next door and died in the burning tower.

There is 2 I like, one is on reddit and is called it all leads back to kalos, and explains about how the ultimate weapon and the darkest day are linked/ the same event, and there was another one about the idea that the the delta episode of oras happened in the original Ruby and sapphire, except that in that universe they didn't have megas, so they went with the first plan of using the meteorite energy to send the asteroid with deoxys in to another dimension, which caused the disruption in the red / blue rescue team Mystery dungeon universe, as you need rayquaza to destroy the falling star and there is a confused af deoxys left behind in the largest shard of the falling star that hit the ground
the magikarp to dragonite would also make more sense for magikarp"s inspiration. The myth in short, is about a carp that swam up against a water fall and became a dragon. (or something like that)

What if Calyrex not only lost his horse...but his queen too. Maybe both Calyrex and his queen had one horse, Calyrex having whichever horse you picked and his queen having the other. The reason Calyrex lost his powers is because the queen pokemon died and her steed with her. Then the other steed left thinking Calyrex was too weak. Then his steed lost power and gained a broken, lost form. That explains why the books in the mayors house say some people thought the steed was white or black and the queen pokemon faded from history. Calyrex was too heartbroken to talk about it. It's just a theory tho
I feel like Ditto has to have some connection to Mew. Obviously we know scientists spent a lot of time trying to clone Mew’s DNA, and it’s very unlikely that they got Mewtwo the first time. Experiments like that will have many “flops” before success is reached. I don’t think it is too much of a stretch that Dittos were created though these failed experiments and were either released, discarded as trash, or escaped a testing facility.
It's also kind of weird that Magikarp has the same "horns" as dragonite under its mouth

In the pixelmon mod if you put a Mew in the cloning machine you can get dittos from it before Mewtwo but once it clones into a Mewtwo the machine breaks

Why do all Pokemon, apart from Mew lay eggs?
My theory is it's an evolved trait shared by all Pokemon (bar Mew) because its easier to protect eggs than it is protecting a pregnant Pokemon, it also evolved due to their constant potential to be in a battle.
Humans in this world give birth, a trait shared with Mew, so using that as a theory we can say that there is an undiscovered missing link between Pokemon and humans.
Something that links all monkey Pokemon and humans.
My theory is that the rhyhorn in Pokémon legends has became an ice type! Not only does its body look a tiny bit off its a very icy blue! People keep telling me that it's just a normal rhyhorn with lighting on it but there's no amount of lighting to make a gray that kind of blue! Also People have been telling me that since Pokémon legends is based on the sinnoh region it's legit impossible to have a sinnohian rhyhorn because we haven't had one before! All I have to say is that of course we haven't had one! That's why we are getting it now because it takes place way back in the creation of sinnoh!

No I dont buy about the noble steeds being a Galarian Rapidash, the horn on Glastrier is not in the same spot, the ears on Galarian Rapidash point outward while Galstriers ears point forward, and the tails dont match at all, for Spectriers the horn is completely gone and the ears are together coming out from the middle of the head, the feet match but again the tail doesn't match at all, here is my theory....Gamefreak and Creatures Inc decided to cut corners and use Galarian Rapidash as the base model and just made a few tweaks and changes....mind blown 🤯
Wasn't it confirmed that the Mew/Ditto theory was incorrect? I recall that being mentioned and that sucks because I wish we had more mythical pokemon tied to normal pokemon. Diance being a mutated Carbink or Darkrai's connection to Cresselia. I don't recall others off the top of my head, but I do like when they do stuff like that.
I believe the ditto theory and the salamence and flygon theory, and also the venonat/butterfree theory but personally dont believe cubone is related to charizard but i can see its relation to kangaskhan, However one evolution i never understood is why remoraid evolves into octillery but no mantine
I have something to add to the beast trio If I remember right there was an episode of pokemon that explained how they became those beasts and the silhouettes look similar aswell. (think you only see flareon silhouette can't remember off hand)... I do have a odd theory. That shellder is gastly that is in a shell. everytime I see shellder and cloyster I see the black mass in it as gastly ever since I was young I had that in my mind like how would a gastly even get in the shell.
Mewtwo can't transform because it was the transforming ability making it unstable so the scientists removed that section of DNA, I think that part of its DNA became Ditto.

7:59 it isn't possible: there's just one horse per time line. If the player choses glastrier this negates the existence of spectrier and viceversa. And if you say "but calyrex talks about he had 2 loyal allies" those are zacian and zamazenta, not the horses (in fact, the pokedex says it saved an entire forest from a meteor: where do you find the illusions of zacian and zamazenta in the early game? Exactly, in the slumbering weald a forest is said "came out of nowhere" so the rspidash theory is completely wrong IMO)
