Ian Seau Chases NFL Dream to Honor His Uncle Junior Seau's Legacy

  • On May 2, 2012, the news of Junior Seau's suicide shocked his family, the NFL community and the multitudes impacted by his career. To learn later that Seau suffered from CTE at the time of his death only added to the grief.
    Almost exactly four years later, another Seau begins the tall task of filling his Hall of Fame uncle's shoes at the 2016 NFL draft in Chicago.
    Ian Seau, Junior's nephew, explains why he's willing to risk his body to honor his uncle and the path he created for his nephew to realize his NFL dream.

    I hope ur hard work and love ur uncle Jr has pays off for you. I remember Jr from growing up on the Eside from Laural to Jefferson to Oside High God bless n can’t wait for you to play NFL n keeping your Uncle’s Name in the game

    Indianapolis Colts need to sign him immediately to become the next Jerrell Freeman for us if the Buffalo Bills can no longer find a use for him. Hopefully GM Chris Ballard trades for a draft pick for Ian Seau if they're unwilling to get rid of him.

    I would watch the Chargers only to witness Junior roam the field. Ian ur killing me. Go find something else to do. I'm pretty sure Mr. Seau wouldn't be against me saying this.
