This was one of my first Lattafas. I think its a beautiful and underrated scent. For me its more feminine. But dont overspray it. I even like to wear it when I'm home alone...makes me calm. Thank you for your always honest Reviews 🙏

Hi Cee! Soooo many good Middle Eastern fragrances to try. I haven't heard of this one but I have seen Oud Mood. I agree that Lattafa makes some daring scents. Great review.

I don’t own oud mood but I have both sheikh and shaghaf oud and the similarities are real
Sheikh Al Shuyukh is a good scent. It is lux (no pun intended). I imagine a well-dressed Middle-Eastern manager or business visiting their overseas business; everyone is encouraged by them and can sense and feel the professionalism they exude.

Great review as always, i prefer oud mood to sheikh al shyoukh but the performance on sheikh is better in my opinion. Sheikh plays more on rose note but both have the sweet oud in them. Keep up the good work

I fully agree with you, this has a very definite oud scent, I do quite like the sweetness that develops on the dry down, to my nose it almost smells a little boozy but it could just be the Caramel mixing with the dry warm woody notes. I prefer the dry down on this, that strong oud and heat at the beginning is really challenging for me, I have the same 'problem' with Rose D'prive, eventhough the rose in it is the best I've smelt and I absolutely love and I wish I could soak myself in that rose scent alone, the strong incense, smokey dry warmth completely takes over and I don't think I can pull it off, and it makes me hesitate reaching for these scent profiles 😅
Are these types of perfumes intended to perform well/be at their best in warmer seasons or colder seasons?
I do think most of the MiddleEastern DNA performs better in cold weather 😊

I'm currently obsessed but my backup bottle disappointed me. It doesn't have the intense caramel, sugary vanilla that shines through the oud n cinnamon... My backup bottle only smells like cinnamon, ambrixin, amber and a tint of vanilla 😭
Maybe it’s been reformulated or was exposed to the sun

Just bought this one and wire it for only second time today. Not as strong as I imagined...
Oh no. Maybe it’s the weather. I tried mine in the heat and it was loud
Sometimes they will strengthen, with a little time… don’t despair 😺
mine also it is not strong at all.... not so sweet either. I almost can no smell it... Maybe i get nose blind?

Currently wearing this and did not get the sweetness in the opening at all. Maybe just a hint but definitely not too sweet and syrupy. I’ve had others at home smell it too. I’ve had this for a few months and the musky, powdery notes kind of overpower it so it’s been forgotten. I just pulled this out today because it’s cooler than usual today.
Maybe it’s due for a declutter lol 😂 💕

I was looking to purchase Opuluent Musk in the fancy white bottle, also by Lattafa. Is Opulent Musk similar to S.A.S. Luxe??? Or could I pass on the Opulent Musk. Thanks in advance for your advice. I'm going back and forth on this perfume sheik al shuyuk luxe edition between Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends. It's been in my cart for a month. Are they more on the feminine side? Khaltat is more sour and slightly sweet.. this one is sweet but oudy. Both are unisex leaning feminine. The two are very different from each other so it’s going to be a matter of preference 😍

Hey Ruth. This one is my scent of the day. I like how it quickly tones down as opposed to Oud mood. After two hours this one stops suffocating me. I’m slowly loving this one ❤️

This one is a watered down version. Plus the lasting power on this one is so-so. I don’t think it’s necessary to have both unless you find Oud mood too strong ❤️

Is there a fragrance you might know that smells just like the mid-base notes of this fragrance? I’ve gotten glimpses of the caramel/amber/vanilla and I adore it so much however it’s drowned out by this awfully strong jammy rose cinnamon that is too much for me and the latter are basically the only accords I get the whole time unfortunately.

I'm so glad I clicked on your video, such a great review. I love the Mideast scents but really am not familiar with the brands. You describe them so well, I hope you have more reviews of the Mideast fragrances. One thing about perfumes is I never know which is winter /fall and which is for spring / summer... with that which is good for office wear and which is good just for the clubs

This one is cheaper but not similar to 212 VIP women at all. This one is slightly oudy so if you’ll manage that you may try it just for the affordability aspect.

I bought Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe Edition Perfume in the 30ml to test as it had all the notes I really like. Its gorgeous, I love it and so does my husband. Straight away I turned around and ordered the 100ml bottle. I have just started my journey with middle eastern perfumes and I have to say Wow to the quality and price. Great video.
