@@francesco7168 You're thinking of Siege of Madrigal, which plays at the end of the track "Halo" on the OST. "The Lost Muse" plays when you're fighting the invisible Elites and the Hunters in the latter half of this level.

It is a good level no doubt due to nostalgic reasoning. But I agree that AotCR is my favorite.
I came here specifically looking for lost muse. I thought it was in silent cartographer first until i really thought about it after i didn't find it there or the full soundtrack. It really is unique and the extra details you don't notice during the fighting are actually really putting this as one of the best tracks for CE like wow
Fuck yeah man, rock on. Halo is timeless. I played it when I was 8 and had nightmares with the 'level' after this one, probably helped that you're older haha
Bro 14:14 was my favorite track BY FAR during my first playthrough of Halo CE co-op with my friend back in 2001! I'm now listening to it through headphones and WOW, I just got goosebumps and nostalgia, better than any drug!!!
One of the greatest soundtracks to one of the greatest levels in any video game ever. Twenty years later and I can still remember so much of the level and how to fight it.
i actually skipped that part cuz i jacked the banshee from the bridge never had to walk thorugh there where the music played so i dont even remember it
@@brancolt_ If you stop the elites from getting in the banshees, you can pilot them yourself. You have to be pretty quick about it, though. They start running the second they see you.
@@ChristianTheChickenI'm pretty sure that's impossible on legendary unless something really lucky happens. I tried numerous times to reach it but the enemies just gunned me down every time
This game will always have the most special place in my heart. I am still blown away by the story and the campaign. Man the nostalgia and the childhood memories.
This game comes from a time when emotions actually meant something and quality was put into games. Not saying quality is nonexistant today but it's nothing like halo ce era games
Thank you for posting this vid, I was looking for that part, The Lost Muse, just as soon as hear that, nostalgia hits me hard. Just listening to it reminds me of the late nights with my friends when I was young and how we would play this game for hours on end. Just simply beautiful and peaceful to listen to while taking a major nostalgia trip.
I always used to skip the part of the mission where A Walk in the Woods played because I would always steal that banshee off the ice bridge. One time, I decided to actually not take the banshee and I was really surprised when I heard A Walk in the Woods play. I was like, "Whoa, I never heard this track before."
I love "the Gun Pointed at the Head of the Universe," but I favor "Unless You Mean to Shoot" more. It has a darker and richer sound, especially with the choir.
Omg I remember this is so nostalgic I remember HATING this lever just because of rocket flood and how annoying it was and when I hated this music gave me thrills
Its one of the few songs not included in the Halo 1 ost. I think you can download it free from Bungie's site though? Or you used to be able to, at least.
I love all these songs… but does anyone know where to find the ambient music played in this level where you’re in the structures in this level? It sounds kinda creepy and sounds like chanting…
the one at 14:14 , i cant find it in any Halo OSTs, does anybody know if there is a solo OST for the one at 14:14. ?? EDIT: Got it, its called 'The Lost Muse'
you know why they call it the lost muse cause martin and the developer just make it to enhance the game feeling instead of just making it to a original soundtrack
Does anyone know what that second last song is one here? The one at the end of the mission where you open up the last door with the gold sword elite?? It's my favorite song in halo and it wasn't added to the ost
I can suddenly hear the wail of a Banshee................
I can hear a sword elite with his elite majors rushing through the valleys
I can hear marines getting in the ghost and splattering me
I can hear the the grunts snoring in their dreams...
...followed by the sound of my gun smashing them to death in their sleep.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRREEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW* *PEW*

Mad Dog Entertainment but if you listen closely to the rythem it sounds very similar

Why isn't The Lost Muse on the official OST? It's so good.
Its a hidden track you only hear when you use a banshee to go on one of the tower's beams

It was supposed to be but somebody dropped the ball and it got left out. Marty talked about it at one point, that's how it got the name "Lost Muse".
Bc its lost
The reason is simply because Bungie forgot to put it. They uploaded it for free on their website in 2002 after a fan pointed it out.
