These two gentlemen are legends. Being 55 years old I grew up watching these two. I don’t know how you could be mad at either one of them for their success because they put the work in. Keep Hammering boys.
This is the most important podcast in many years. The friction in the community has been growing for so many of the reasons discussed here. I’ll admit I’ve probably been one of the jealous guys at times, but watching Cam and Michael talk brought it all back home. So much mutual respect between 2 icons who have found a way to stay humble. Share and share more. Happy hunting gents.
The podcast I didn’t know I needed! I grew up watching Michael Waddell on the outdoor channel! I swear getting to watch his show was like Christmas morning as a kid! This is truly a great podcast!
Waddel on the keep hammering collective! Is there a hunter on the planet who doesn’t know who he is? Such a humble guy it seems like too. Great show. I could listen to him tell stories all night
Awesome! I’ve been a Roadtrips fan since the beginning! I was watching Michael when he worked for Bill Jordan and have been following Cam for years! Two important voices in the hunting community!
Your best podcast not that they all aren’t great, this one is just the best to date! Loved hearing about the two of you coming up and achieving success, talking about your hero’s Chuck Adam’s, Jim Shockey, Roy! The Easton autumn orange, game getters! I date back to those days and cherish those early days, and still cherish every day in the field, even though I am getting long in the tooth!
Thank you Cam for bringing Michael’s personality to life in this podcast. I am very impressed with his journey and what he’s accomplished. A solid ambassador for the outdoor enthusiast.
This pod cast has made me realize that I need to chase my dream. I want to hunt for a living and I have no clue how I’m going to do but I just remember what the scripture says “You can make many plans but the Lords purpose will prevail” I want to hunt for a living but I am not going to stress out about because I know that the Lord has a plan for me.
Excellent podcast and so glad it was filmed. You can see the genuine respect and happiness from both hunters to the other. Being 52 I’ve got to watch it all unfold and thanks for letting us all join and watch your success and your hunting stories through the years. Keep hammering fellas!!!!
Now that was an awesome podcast! None of the others pale in comparison, but I stay glued to the screen every moment I got today to watch this one. Cam you have an awesome show my man keep them coming!
I'm half way through and can't say enough best 2 rolemodels I've ever looked up to. I'm 35 and grew up watching Michael on real tree vhs. Then cam in my teens. So glad these 2 came together. Great podcast guys! Hope you film a hunt together. God bless you and your families. Hope you get T BONE on here! Thanks for this podcast I needed this!
I remember when Waddell first started, and I’ve always thought he would be so fun to share a camp with. This is one of my favorite episodes of your podcast so far. So awesome you two got together for this.
Great Podcast. I have a great deal of respect for both of you guys. Cameron, I'm a huge fan of your podcast and the Lift, Run, Shoot format. Keep it up.
Loved the Podcast. Also I'm glad he gave a shout out to Manchester blue devils. Watching him on television was an inspiration living in small town in Georgia.
Love both these guys. You can tell everytime they speak how much they’re having to hold back, on their joy and excitement. Crazy how we as people have to dull our happiness because of the jealousy and envy from people who won’t put the work and time in to achieve these same goals.
Outstanding pod, man. Had a chance to meet waddy in the early days of Roadtrips, and hearing him talk and taking in his wisdom and stories is always a pleasure. Hope to see more of y’all in the future! Keep hammerin!🤙🏼
Thanks Cam and Michael for sharing yourself and your life with us! This was very inspiring to hear how ordinary people have excelled in such a meaningful and impactful way. Must be something in that elk chili, would love to have some, too!!
Michael is one of those guys that got me in the treestand during weekends in high school and up even thru college; I loved hunting already but I blame him for me being late for final exams or late to the dinner hall in poke dunk Kansas (college); I also give him my thanks, that he will never even know, for keeping me out of trouble, wether it being college bars and party corruption, it kept my head on a swivel. Watching his excitement and passion fueled mine. He was hustling as cameraman and hell of a shot during those monster bucks shoots; he was my “chuck adams” 😊
To the most respected men in Bo hunting. Genesis 27.3 Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me venison; I’m just a simple truck, driver, that loves to bow hunt. Long long before any of us drew our first breath, I have respect for both of you. Keep on keeping on God bless and take care.
Love both of you guys! I was hoping to hear y'all take about the reasons you both shoot carbon vs aluminum? Cam seemed to have swapped back to aluminum why Michael sticks to carbon, is there any reason? Only interested because I like to improve my set up!
I met Michael waiting for a rollercoaster at Dollywood. I’ve watched him my whole life and never imagined I’d be so nervous to say something to him 😂 but I did and he was super nice.
Money is pushing the adventure to way outside middle class economic. Even here in Indiana which I grew up being allowed to hunt around everywhere. Leases have exploded. I believe in never trespassing. Don’t disrespect another property. But I have been priced out of hunting. A guided hunt is 10k. These men remember when they started. But the names who they mention are millionaires. Last area I heard person are flying in on private jets to go hunt. If this is a minuscule perspective just around Indiana then I might be moving. I don’t see too many new young hunters around me. Lots are zero land out. Some public land might be an option. Thank you for your podcast. It was a great interview.
Really like this guys, but when they mention legendary archers they never mention Howard Hill. He was one of those great hunter, I think he was before Fred Bear.
Im from Marbella, Spain, hunting is a big part of our original culture but lately the whole country took a more liberal, socialist approach and definitely social media is damaging our hunting community. Misinformation and lack of values stand within our society, it’s sad to say but we are facing the worst time to be a serious hunter and trying to monetice professionalism as almost everyone rejects it, it’s only small groups and private land.
Cam, you were funnier than Rogan. Classier too. Cant be easy sitting there being "educated" by Joe like that. You guys need to reign that dude in a little bit.

Two of the absolute best in this industry. Waddy has some of the absolute best one-liners! T-bone is running a strong second!
"I don't know, let's start with the back strap" 😂

Michael Waddell the LEGEND
Thank you God for this day. This is a huge blessing
Everyone loves Waddell. I’ve also been following him for decades.
That was a great interview. I have been a fan of Micheal Waddell since he first hit the scene.

Two of the best voices hunting could have ever asked for. 🙌🏼

Michael and Tim Wells are the funniest guys on hunting TV.
Best podcast ever.
Cam, could you show us your process of meat? From field to freezer, freezer to plate?
Great video
Me and Waddell are a few weeks apart in age, but I feel like I grew up with him seeing him on TV. Good times when you can’t be in the woods yourself.
Absolute juggernaut icon conversation!!
Michael Waddel 3rd on my list of hunting heroes behind my dad and pawpaw
I am 46 now. I've been a bow hunter my entire life. Big antlers are nice, but I agree with you guys the experience and the meat are the best parts.
Great podcast
Two legends talkin here
I met Michael waiting for a rollercoaster at Dollywood. I’ve watched him my whole life and never imagined I’d be so nervous to say something to him 😂 but I did and he was super nice.

Really like this guys, but when they mention legendary archers they never mention Howard Hill. He was one of those great hunter, I think he was before Fred Bear.

Not to rag on you as stated in the podcast but a humble person doesn’t call themselves humble 25 times in a podcast 😂.
