If I had to have a hooter whistle on a 4-8-4, I would be the N&W 12-incher. A hooter, but one that speaks with authority instead of something that sounds so European. I know what you have here is original and authentic for a freight T-1 but I just can't see it on anything any larger than 2-8-2. Just my two pennies.
