In this video, we discuss the characteristics of monosaccharides which are the simplest type of carbohydrates. There is also an overview on the various types of carbohydrates, their molecular formulae and examples of the carbohydrates. At the end of the video a memory aid is given to remember the 3 monosaccharides discussed.
