Arabia Mountain GA bike tour

Today I ride parts of the PATH trails through the Arabia Mountain National Heritage area (arabiaalliance...) and Panola Mountain State Park (www.gastatepark....
The trails are 100% paved, mostly with smooth-rolling concrete, some boardwalks, and asphalt. Make sure you have your climbing legs ready as the more than 30 miles of PATH trails are rolling, rolling, rolling with endless up and down. Map at arabiaalliance...

One of my favorite places to ride. You will have to head to the all the way to the monastery next time.

Agreed. The monastery in Atlanta suburbs seems really out of place, but very cool. Maybe next trip I'll try to hit every trail in the park as a challenge - that would be a fun video. I wonder how much elevation that would be?

It IS a lot of fun. I hadn't been there in a while so it was good to be back. And the location winding through the forests and granite monadnacks is really peaceful.
