@@ricshaw805with the foxfarm VS mixing my own, I don’t see value one versus the other. It’s just a marketing scheme in my opinion. I’m sticking to the Kellogg’s bag because my plants do just fine and I don’t see any problem with it. Weather its 1 year VS 5 years. I already see the results.
Recommend not breathing the dust from the perlite if you can
Of course, you shouldn’t breath anything in
Great drainage is important AND potting soil with low organics is important for long term.
I would recommend using the Palm, Cactus, Citrus potting soil mix from same manufacturer for long term.
Why would you recommend me something that it’s been working for me all these years. If it’s working for you, then stick to what you’re using!
@@tristardragonfruit I didn’t know it was working for you for over 5 years.
@@ricshaw805 I tried to stay away with palm and cactus. perlite works for me and I don’t have to water as much

How do u go about adding Nitrogen or prepping for winter in socal? Maybe a winter prep video? Thank you so much for all the info!!
Great suggestion!
I totally agree with you about drainage. I live in Oregon, my cactus, all types, do much better in fast draining soil.
