I hope K doesn't break bad yet, I'd like to see him push a class action lawsuit from the tenants for their rights being violated and a separate case for his rights being violated on the initial search and only if he doesn't get justice through the legal system does he go back to the old ways.
Exactly!! He could sue the city and Ruth personally for violation of his rights. They lit raided properties that are rented by other uninvolved civilians/cops, then when they couldnt figure out which properties are his, they sent him to prison for 99999 months. Plus this whole arrest is questionstable since Slacks had arrested k the day before and concluded that there isnt enough evidence to pursue anything and then released him.
@@marsh42o63there is 0 rental laws in the city, he can be on 24hr hold if he's being uncooperative (was done before in 3.0), and slacks told him no charges were going to be pushed today but will at a later date. You would know this if you cleaned your brain out from all that nut you have in there .

@@edwardguzman1182 There’s no such thing as “rental law”. the property is being rented, therefore the tenant is responsible for that property. This is just common sense. They were lit searching Slacks’s prop. As for the cooperation, it is not his duty to help or show the police how to perform their duties. They couldnt locate a property, thats on them? Also Slacks only said that after Ruth decided to pursue the charges. If u disagree with me, thats fine. But u would at least agree that how the search was conducted yday was a mess. Even the officers were frustrated
I own houses in RL. I couldn’t even imagine my tenants getting their houses searched over something they didn’t do. They would be rich at least after.

Can`t really take all the IRL laws and regulations into count in the RP Server. They are lacking of laws right now in the server. The whole Real Estate thing hasn`t been sorted out yet and seems like it will take a long time until it will, if it will.

Man it is diffcult to come up with anything nice to say about Ruth. So instead i have this to say. It is quiet impressive how the streamer was able to turn the idea of gangrene and it into character.

Ruth is an S-tier RPer. She plays an incompetent female cop SO well. Diversity hire if I've ever seen one.
Its just so frustrating to see people think that its how she really is irl... Anyone who watched her for at least once knows that it aint the case.

There is a DNA system that would show only his DNA on the items placed and not the cops. So no, he can't. And there is no counter play to the DNA system at the moment and *maybe* there will be, but *IF* there is we don't know when.

@@ryudoblub2950 No, they found it on him and that was enough. That's the precedent that JP and (now) Murphy Braun's cases set. If it's on your person when you're searched then you possessed it and that's enough for a "Possession of a PD Firearm" charge. Doesn't matter if you are downed.
Also the Snow Grey case (in which Ramee represented Snow Grey against Denzel Shiesty and the PD) determined that just because there is proof you once possessed it doesn't mean you're guilty of possession. It has to be IN your possession to count as possession. So, even if they did find other people's DNA on it, those other people wouldn't be in trouble for possession, only the person the gun was found on gets the fine and time.
Bear in mind though, Angel came up with that ruling before the DNA system. I have a strong feeling they're gonna completely go against that ruling now.

I kinda thought that was exactly the case. Because while I didnt see everything, I did see quite a bit of cop RP talking about the case. And never heard them talk about DNA. But what I did hear is Ruth telling Slacks to charge K for the weapon because it would be a bad precedent for the police if they didnt do it.
They literally did not care what party was guilty. Or how much the police actually fucked up in this case for not detaining everybody on scene.
It just seemed like a huge police fuckup. But viewers dont always know everything, so I just asked if maybe I missed there actually being solid DNA evidence.

However, also apparently when they raided the house they found the secret entrance to the basement so... Honestly who knows. I just hope K doesn't pull a JP and decide to go off a crime deep end just because of this charge. He has a good shot at being able to fight it and stick with his civ RP arc.
I can't believe they (cops and the judge who signed the warrent) actually dont know anything about how a rental works. The renters are protected by the 4th amendment. They can't just search it because the owner is being raided. Wtf?

That woman was fucking desperate to find something that justifies the absolutely incredible waste of time and resources. It is not someone's job to cooperate with the cops. Have they heard of the 5th? Mr K was doing them a favour whenever he helped them. Absolutely pathetic they were accusing him of not cooperating. Not cooperating with police is defined in law, it's not just "not answering the question we asked". Mr K would have been entitled to have, if he chose, his lawyer with him at all times if they were going to be asking potentially incriminating questions.
