@@ElliotHarris03 Id recommend Apexi or blitz. You could honestly just get a replacement for the intake tubing as well and get a good aftermarket filter
@@projectp217 I will defo look into them. I’m not quite familiar with modifying Old JDM yet as I am with modern Germans, however the rest of my family are.
Nice video, but should have bought BRD or TBD downpipe instead of this chinese crap...I fell to this trap too, throwed whole downpipe to bin and bought quality one from TBD. Its good to find as many info as you can when you want to modify this car, sometimes its best to leave some things stock as Toyota´s engineers made it originally, or find the proper info to buy quality part :)
Yh I’ve got to look into it, it was very cheap this DownPipe was hence I bought it. However TBD & BRD keep flagging up so will 100% look into it. Wasn’t too bad to do either
so you fitted a 6 bolt eBay decat that are not made for the 205? they are not jigged correctly and should have a 7 bolt flange, there all so well known for not letting the wategate open full so you get boost creep you should speak to BRD as they may 1 correctly for the 205 that fits right has a 7 bolt flange and does let the gate open fully all so no support bracket to keep the down pipe in place and were soon to have the front B pipe available for the 205 Brooks racing development
I had spoke to a well reputable Toyota garage and they had said they was built for the mr2 turbo hence there was some blanks, all studs was used to carry them over. i normally live by buy it once and get it done with however for this one i just brought this. so far ive done about 300 miles since installing and havent yet had or noticed boost creep but are fully aware of it. Thank you for the advice and ill look into TBD or BRD.
Tell me what you think of the new exhaust!
Another banger mate very informative looking forward to the rest of the journey 👌🏾
Love the support mate, appricate it👌🏽
Hey brother good video! Although I’d recommend changing the HKS intake…the foam filter has been known to get sucked in by these cars.
You have any recommendations? The HKS one came with the car.
