What makes this show so incredibly clever is that the Indian Aussies are sledging the wider Aussie culture on the one hand, whilst also sledging the traditional Indian culture at the same time. The entire series is well worth watching. It hilarious.😂

Yeah but that's the first time I have ever heard Jimmy Grant used for immigrant though ?, It must be slang unique to another state.

@@iggyblitz8739 I’ve heard all of those slang words before. What’s interesting is that “the Internet” is pretty much full of younger users, but more importantly “younger creators”. It’s really “cringeworthy” to see some of the younger creators doing videos about “Aussie Slang” that are absolutely clueless about the actual meanings of even the simplest of slang. They tend to stick with the basics like “Mate”, the shortening of words, or “How ya goin”.
For example, they tend to tell their “audience” that the latter is a rhetorical question, which requires no actual answer. Maybe a “Good Thanks”. Whatever happened to “I’m flat out like a lizard drinking”? Or “I’m going like a herd of turtles”? Or the countless other Aussie slang retorts?
Most of them would be clueless if you tried “Rhyming Slang” on them. “Wearing a bag of fruit”. Or “On the dog and bone”. Or “Hitting the frog and toad”.
They never even seem to start on classic Aussie sayings or insults.

Ryan, feel free to laugh your head off. This is a comedy show, taking the piss out of both Indians and Aussies both.
BTW, it is How To Talk "Australians", not "to Australians".
So they are calling our language "Australians" incorrectly, instead of saying just "How to talk Australian". Park of the joke.
The phone call is their interpretation of how one would conduct a phone conversation if you were Australian.

Feel free to laugh at all of this Ryan. We won’t be snowflakes about it like some other Cultures would.
I put together some meanings for the slang in this video for you and examples where appropriate:
Skippy - An old tv show about a Kangaroo called ‘Skippy’ who I think saved or helped people. The show was called: “Skippy the Bush Kangaroo” it was on sometimes when I was a kid and i was born in 88. Pretty sure it is from the generations from before mine. It was really old when I was a kid. So I can’t really remember what it was about, it was before my time, never watched it much.
Esky - Cooler for drinks and food
Whacker - Wanker (which we also say)
    Knockers - Boobs
Up the Duff - Pregnant (E.G. Shazza is up the duff)
Chunder - Vomiting or Throwing Up
Spewin’ - to spew is to throw up, but if you are spewin’ it means you are upset. (E.G. I’m spewin’ that didn’t go my way)

Skippy was aired 1968 - 1970 originally but the re-runs have been seen many times over and to each and every commonwealth country as well as some others as well. There were plenty of memes about it, skippy would communicate in clicks and his owners could translate into all kinds of weird and wonderful stories. "tut tut tut tut... what's that Skip, there's a man fallen in the ravine with a compound fracture? tut tut tut tut... We need to move quickly? We can follow you and you will show us? Right on it Skip." That kind of thing, it was pretty cheesy even for those days, haha.

I love this.. they are basically indian Australian comedians taking the piss out of their native selves and Australia at the same time. 😅🤣

First time I saw this (some years ago), I nearly split myself laughing. After seeing all the episodes, my ribs hurt for days. Clever “taking the piss” humor, you have to rewatch to catch all the little bits.
