I was there twice and it was my most interesting holiday destination so far. It’s unique, people are nice prices are way below compared to western prices and the culture is just amazing. Anyone who likes the mixture of new and old, won’t be disappointed. I can also agree on how beautiful Armenian women are! Everyone I saw on street was fit and dressed stylish and perfect makeup. It was like a fashion show!! :)

This is awesome! I am Armenian and just wanted to clarify that most of the top restaurants and stores in the capital city do accept credit cards, and there are ATMs all over the country in case you one needs to withdraw cash.
and one more addition, it is true that the ceasefire law between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been broken many times, but Armenia was not the one breaking the law ;)

1. in Armenia all restaurants, coffeehouses and more than 70% of the shops accept credit cards and there are ATMs on each 100 meters in the cities, 1.5 million tourists visit Armenia each year and in general all of them use credit cards without problems !
2. Armenia didn't broke peace agreement or tried do any escalation on the border with Azerbaijan, Armenia protects the population of Nagorno-Karabagh Republic from azerbaijanian president's militaristic politics.

It is recognized as part of Azerbaijan internationally,which means Azerbaijanis can live there safely according to UN's resolutions,which Armenia violates it currently. Actually there is no Armenian cuisine, that is, these is no national cuisine in Middle east, Balkans and Caucasians. Because these societies are collectivist. You can find lavash, dolma, basturma, mante and other popular dishes in these regions. There is near Asian cuisine and it's uniquely amazing!

I am a second-generation Armenian American living in Worcester Massachusetts in the USA. My grandparents emigrated from Armenian just prior to the 1915 genocide. All came as small children or teenagers. And both my parents were born in the states. I am very proud to be an Armenian. But in addition to being proud of my ethnicity, I am also proud of the fact that my city is the home of the first Armenian church built in the United States. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to go to Armenia yet; hopefully some day soon. 🇦🇲🇦🇲
