my wish is to see a girl group like this. that can absolutely kill the choreo and not get given super cutesy or just plain easy dances because the pds think that they can't sing and dance. with enough practice and opportunities, we can have girl groups that do intense dances and deliver strong vocals.

I love 소현.. she's so young and so good at dancing. I also really love 미림.. 민주 is really pretty. 하예 is pretty good at singing. The last girl.. I never got to know her personally since I started watching from the middle of the season. :/

well they were really exhausted from the dancing and they were dancing at the same time as well... and also the lead vocalist's voice was warn off then as well boa even mentions this before they perform.
it's because they were dancing and tbh no 'idol' stars sound amazing when theyre dancing like that. They just sound better bc they have a back track. this group did amazing
I think you all should stop criticizing these girls.. don't forget they're not professional, of course they can't sing as good. Their Dangerous dance is awesome!
I was really rooting for Mirim and Haye ever since I saw them, and my heart was crashed seeing Mirim go. She's so talented and really pretty! I just hope she'll get casted somewhere (IMO, she fits with Starship Ent. though). Let's just wish both Haye and Mirim goodluck!
ooh i watched the last part of the show again and yeah, JYP formed another duet aside from the powersinging duo (that's what i call them since they have strong voices lol). The other duet that i did not notice before is composed of the the piano girl who sang 'Say You Love Me' , in the round before the ranking auditions and the other girl was ranked first in their group during the ranking audition ( i remember her because of YG's 'gun and flyswat comment', referring to her rhythm ^_^ ). thanks!
From what I remembered, park jaehyung had throat problem before he audition for Kpop star because of his wrong singing technic, lee michelle had throat problem in the performance cause she got a cold and still didn't stop chatting when BoA asking her to, BoA and park jimin got the cold the same time when training and it was flu season. About Song Haya, I'm not sure yet. Plz dont assume things, there are a few more contestants in ss1 that had throat problem but they was not train with SM.
Indeed SM ....... Sim Jaewon make it super hot.... their singing. ... since they risk on their training so much ... their vocal have problem .. that why ..... but even though their vocal are ok .... they also can not beat the jyp casters vocal ... they are freestyle though , can not compete with SM this one .
There's the Lee Jueun girls. These two girls have the same name and they have been made into a group. They are pretty unknown as they one hasn't been aired since the prelimonaries and the other hasn't been seen since the Ranking Round
I really wanted Mirim to make it because her first performance was so powerful! :( . I thought haye was very weak. Her voice cracked and sounded a bit messy. I know she was trying very hard but at the same time, JYP always stresses that you should never over-use your voice. But i definitely am cheerng for soyeon!
Yes Mirim was actually saved again in the newest episode of KPOPSTAR :) YG pulled Haye out of SM, and Soyeon out of JYP, to form a 5 member girl group which comprises of Haye, Soyeon, Minjoo, Miss 8 Member (the one with the pigtails), and the newly saved Mirim! Because of YG's girl group, two spots opened up, one for JYP and one for SM.
I quite love these girls! Its a shame not all of them got casted (Still a possibility though!) And to those comparing these girls to SNSD and maybe even SuPearls, considering they had a weeks practice to get a hard dance break choreo plus singing a song with hard choreo, they did a damn good job.

춤을 앞에 저렇게 췄는데 보컬을 어떻게 함... 애초에 노래를 하고 뒤에 춤을 했어야했는데ㅠ 거기다가 mr에 목소리 1도없는 상태에서 기존 아이돌들 몇개월씩 연습해서 나온곡도 mr제거해서 잘하면 칭찬있고 그런 가수가 소수인세상인데

soyeon's voice is actually pretty suitable for rap (massive room for improvement obviously, but surprisingly decent). not to mention she's mad fierce.
