    Alaska Airlines should've kept their A321neos. They are larger than the 737 MAX and have a longer range. It's just that they want to be all-Boeing, even if it is dangerous. These problems have never happened on an Airbus even though they have been in service longer. Plus, no Airbus has been grounded by the FAA, but Boeing, they have 2 in 7 years.

    to be fair, the atlas air incident almost certainly wasn’t boeing’s fault. boeing makes the airframes but GE and rolls royce make the engines and the airline maintains them, so the fault is on one of them, or even just birds. even then, the plane was still able to land and continue its flight later on, meaning the issue was likely something less severe, like a compressor stall

When i walk in to the plane i should feel save, but i don't. Why am i not comfortable flying this machine ? Beacause this model of the aircraft, killed few hundred peapol, and good pilots. I've got some mixed feelings about this video.
    It's about a very serious matter and I didnt like the meme pulls to some of these incidents.
    As for Boeing, it's complicated.
    Their main problem is Spirit Aerosystems, they build the 737MAX fuselages.
    Their quality control is lackluster and they push their employes to work as fast as possible.
    A quality manager that reported these problems to his bosses was fired.
    Boeing cannot inspect the fuselages at the factory either, the contract doesn't allow them to do that.
    I keep on hearing how Boeing no longer exists and McDonnell Douglas is just wearing Boeing's skin at this point.
    McD, at the end, was full of accountants and penny counters. It was no longer about engineering but about cutting costs.
    That culture permeated into Boeing after the merger.
    The 787 has the same quality controll problems.
    I will personally never set foot onto a 737MAX.
    That's my 2 cents on it.

    • @ice711real
      @ice711real  ปีที่แล้ว

      I understand why you don’t like the memes. And those are all true statements as well, things I’ll probably mention when I make voiceovers instead of text videos. Also, I’ll be flying on a 737 MAX 8 in March, so you can come back to my channel if you’d like to see what the experience is like!

    They may be having a downfall, but this is a downfall for Boeing’s standards. They are still one of the most if not the most successful airplane manufacturer Boeing plane are problem safe, at this time aeroplane technology is rapidly changing, Boeing has been testing a lot, they are trying to keep things up to date but also old school, I am not a random person trying to prove you wrong, but the chances of being on a plane that crashes is very low, take the dc-10 for example it had a bad reputation at first but later it was proved to be a safe and reliable plane! I think the same thing is happening to the 737 MAX but I must say, I do agree with you

    • @ice711real
      @ice711real  ปีที่แล้ว

    The 747 incident really isn’t Boeing’s fault, it’s on GE or maintainence. The C40 involved in that incident is too old to automatically pin on Boeing, maybe that one is on maintainence. The contribution to the 777x delay that engine issues played are not Boeing’s fault.

But what concerns me is that BOEING employees are really being pressured to build more planes fast. It kinda reminds me of the INCREDIBLE STORY of the of the BOEING 747 where the INCREDIBLES worked around the clock to build the first JUMBO JET in just 28 months but against all the odds JOE SUTTER and his team SUCCEEDED. This is how BOEING got they’re INCREDIBLE Reputation. So im sure well all wanna see them make a COMEBACK as they were once the #1 AIRCRAFT MANUFACTURER
