Dude the 1070 is crazy, had my card since 2017 and just upgraded to a 7900gre a couple weeks ago. Also thanks for showing what settings you used for each game. Super useful to those who wanna see.
Have the same exact EVGA 1070 since 2019, always both UV-ed and OC-ed. And man, this card is no joke! Sadly had to change into a 16GB card recently bcs I started to work on AI stuff. I'll never forget the amazing memories with it.
I still have a GTX 1070 in my main PC and it runs everything just fine. But to be fair, my most recent game I play with it is Black Mesa. And that even runs fine on my other GTX 960 (4GB).
The Finals was unplayable for me, I have: CPU : Intel Core i706700K 4.0Ghz GPU : EVGA GTX 1070 8GB SC RAM : 12GB (8+4) Storage : 1TB HDD + 500GB SSD PSU : 650W. Not only that. But my PC struggled most of the time with warzone 1 and many other games that people with similair specs can easily run. It's annoying because I feel like I aint getting the price/performance I paid for..
@@slaydog5102 depends. Considering that GTA 6 will be coming out almost in 2028 , things wouldve changed alot. Lets hope they take thier time and optimize that game to run on these GPU s cuz rx 570 is almost equal to Xbox series S in gpu compute power and if that runs gta 6 then well be able to do it aswell

Do you mean RX 7900 GRE?
Upgraded from an RX 570 8GB to a GTX 1070 two months ago. It's a good upgrade and still a decent gpu for 1080p
Definitely worth it in 2024
I wonder how its gonna do in Arena breakout if you could test that, is it worth to spring 100 euros for a 1070 or save 100 more for a new arc a580 ?
Really thorough, love it!!

A little bit more details of the issue? Is it 20 fps? Or 60 fps with frame drops? Or anything else?
Get an 8+8gb RAM kit if you can, 4+8 can cause strange stuttering issue's
Is your hdmi port connected with the motherboard? If so, connect it with the gpu port
Because you have 4+8 ram try 8+8 and you see the difference
I think this card would be able to run GTA 6 on medium settings with 30 40 fps on 1080p with fsr or smthng. I can just tell
It will definitely run i think the fps will be higher than that though

Breakpoint is 44 usd
GTX1070 is only worth it if you can get it for less than $70.
The less, the better. There's no best price.
I paid $100 for it, pay for what you can afford
