the are great , UNLESS you have a standing desk. there is no way, shot of cutting the cables to make them longer. Even tho the cable look like VGA a VGA extension cable wont work . Keep that in mind

do not buy this ones after a 2 year of use it (suddenly turns off the sounds for 4 seconds then back to normal without the lights) they are broke and no solution

I've had mine around 3 years now without issue. Sorry yours developed a fault :(
